Client reviews for The Mendoza Law Firm present overwhelmingly negative experiences. Multiple reviewers have alleged that the firm engages in deceptive practices, describing them as a "scam."
One client reported that, despite initial assurances of favorable chances for their case, their prospects diminished to zero after repeated consultations. They alleged that the firm primarily focused on securing consultation fees without providing substantive legal assistance or even direct interaction with an attorney.
Another client recounted a similar experience, describing aggressive sales tactics and misleading information from the firm's representatives. They reported being pressured into paying fees and subsequently discovering that the firm's claims were false. This client also noted discrepancies in the firm's contact information, further raising concerns about their legitimacy.
Given these consistent and serious allegations, potential clients should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough research before engaging The Mendoza Law Firm. These reviews indicate a strong possibility of fraudulent activity, and individuals seeking legal services are advised to consider alternative options.

I was skeptical at first about this law firm and everything that they promised. I called them and asked them about what the chances were to get legalized, under a certain situation. Like every sales rep they promise you the best of chances no matter the circumstances and they say they will evaluate every strategy with you to make the process easier. We paid for the consultation and made an appointment with them, which was pretty standard to say the least they wanted to get to know us before they proceeded with the case. We had reminded them several times of the situation at hand and what the chances were they would say they were pretty good. Finally after being asked the same questions over and over again after 3 phone calls we never spoke to the lawyer and chances dropped to zero. They are a scam only charging the consultation money to reel you in and get nothing in the end.
I called the number asking for information on the attorney. After receiving the information, I tried hanging up the phone but the lady on the other side of the phone wouldn't let me hang up. She kept giving dollar amounts so I can get help from the Mendoza Law Firm. Well after the lady on the other line gave me an amount I could work with I paid it. Like an idiot that I am. After I paid I found out they are scam. They told me they would call me on Sunday no call. They also told me they were from Washington their phone # shows that it's from Texas. I searched her law firm name and it came out as scam. So people, I'm out of $150 that I will never see be careful.
Had a case with them for about a year. Case was never moved due to myself and personal issues. Finally when I try to get things going, they were not there to help. They say they have English speaking agents but that is not true. They run the place like a call center which takes the honesty and personal touch that most immigration lawyers will have. I never even got to Maria Mendoza, yet every other immigration law firm will have you speak to the lawyer at first, not this place though. Major red flags. Update: This law firm keeps pretty much harassing me about a check they sent to me. This money according to them is a refund for my case that never gained any traction. They also wanted me to change my review. At this point I won't do anything for them. Pretty much every business in America has the ability to see and check with their financial institution to see if a recipient cashed their check. I would know this because I worked in Medicare and my sister is an actual banker. Not a Teller but an actual banker. I would suggest you guys read this: "The new law regarding fake reviews, finalized by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on August 14, 2024, prohibits businesses from creating, selling, or purchasing fake consumer reviews, testimonials, or celebrity endorsements, including those generated by AI, and requires companies to clearly disclose any insider relationships when posting reviews; essentially banning the practice of manipulating online reviews to deceive consumers." Take that as you will. *UPDATE* The last time I had updated my review, they sent me a very petty email informing me that they have cancelled my services. Which is funny because I am the one who canceled/fired them. This was about 6 plus months ago. The reviews on here are more than likley fake or pushed on to their clients. I would STRONGLY suggest you do not contact them. If you are looking to hire an immigration lawyer, PLEASE stick to someone local. Your initial consultation should consist of an in person appointment or video conference where you actually talk and see the lead attorney.
Abogada Mendoza and her team have been wonderful. Everyone is so kind and professional. They have been very easy to work with and have staff available to answer any questions I have in my preferred language. They really do care for people and I cannot say enough great things about them. Highly recommend them! :)
Scammed. We were never contacted by the Abogada directly and gave them money for what? conversations with the assistants who aren't even listed on their webpage. ALSO, their firm is closed on Sundays but they only insist to communicate/call ON SUNDAYS? Do not work with this firm. They also make up excuses to not share their faces? Little weird huh. They also specifically told us that they would cancel another meeting with a client just for us. Rude? Yeah but because they want to pursue those who have money. Very suspicious huh. It's embarrassing to spread misinformation and false hope. Do better and spread the word because we sure will.
