I worked with Jeff February through April for a simple agreement that had already been drafted and only needed his review. It took two weeks every time I sent over the requested documents and had to bump Jeff on numerous occasions for simple reviews of the documents. What I thought would be a simple and straightforward review of an already pre-drafted agreement with no revisions, ended up being a lengthy two month process where I had to follow up every time. I had originally not planned on writing this review, but when I received my invoice from Jeff, I strongly felt that the hours logged were also incorrect which I tried to raise to his attention for clarification. For context, my wife’s attorney who she had been working with for over a year and who had around the same hourly rates, was logging 15-20% of the hours that Jeff was logging (and mind you, she prepared all of the documents.) To this, I was met with no response from Jeff and had to bump him yet again a month after to hear back. I received no clarification at the end of the day and all my outlined questions were never addressed. I felt that I was taken advantage of and treated extremely unprofessionally. I cannot recommend Jeff Baum.
