I am extremely disappointed with the child support services provided by the Vayman & Teitelbaum (V&T) firm. My child had a special medical condition that was expressed during the initial consultation. They promised to provide top notch support for my child to get the child support needed since I am unable to work at this time. From the very beginning, their communication was poor and disorganized. I had to repeatedly follow up to get updates on my case, and even then, the responses were vague and unhelpful. It felt like no one was truly dedicated to resolving my issue(s). You retain the services of an attorney for guidance and knowledge. This firm did nothing of the sort, but ask me what did I think. You are the expert(s) you should be providing the best support and guidance to support my child’s needs. Instead, the attorney catered more to the opposing party/counsel than to my child! The team seemed unprepared and failed to provide the support I was promised. Despite paying $3500.00 into an Evergreen trust account on several occasions for their services, I felt like my case was being neglected, and my concerns were dismissed. I was constantly left wondering whether anything was being done to address the child support matters I entrusted them with. It is incredibly frustrating to feel like you are not being heard, especially when you are relying on a professional to handle important legal matters. The support team seemed unorganized and lacked attention to detail. If I had not reviewed each invoice for accuracy, they were creating charges that either did not exist or double charged you for a service. Around 10 people would open an email to read and they would charge for everyone that read the email. I WOULD NOT recommend using this firm for any child support issues. The service was subpar, and I regretted working with them every step of the way. If you have money you want to light on fire, then go with this firm, because you will burn through your funds!!!
