I called to get information about retaining an attorney. The person who answered the phone asked me to give her details about what happened. As I am giving her info, I almost broke down. The person was very rude and speaking very loud and over talking me and being condescending. Then she told me that I don't have a case. I told her that I didn't like the conversation and hung up on her. Then I called back and told her how rude she was being. Then she hung up on me. I decided to call to ask to speak to someone in charge, but before I could, the attorney called me and told me not to call back. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. DONT USE THIS ATTORNEY!!

I called this Office looking for help not looking for an enemy. I come to find that the paralegal NANCY I discussed my pending case with proceeded to hang up the call from me and call the person that I was seeking legal advice about and then proceeds to tell him exactly what I had just relayed to the paralegal. They were Obviously good friends because she informed me she called the person I was seeking legal advise about while he was on vacation. NANCY then proceeded to tell me all the lies that he had already told me previously, ASTONISHING. I have never been more distraught or afraid since this paralegal NANCY has made that phone call and relinquished all information to this person. The paralegal NANCY then proceeds to inform me what I should do and how I should proceed with this case. Which is to do NOTHING and talk to this horrible, lying deceiving person and work things out. HOW HORRIBLE WHEN YOU LOOK FOR HELP THAT YOU GET DECEIVING, HORRIBLE PEOPLE THAT ARE WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING. LIKE THIS FIRM HAS JUST PROVEN. THANK YOU NANCY FOR ALL YOUR HELP🤔

About Rosen Frederic M PC
When a personal injury disrupts your life in Michigan, whether it's from an auto accident, medical malpractice, or a slip and fall, finding the right legal representation is crucial. The aftermath of an injury can be a time of immense stress, pain, and financial uncertainty, making it essential to have a legal team that can navigate the complexities of the justice system on your behalf. Frederic M. Rosen, PC, a law firm based in Detroit, has a stated focus on personal injury cases, with decades of experience fighting for victims and their families. However, recent public feedback raises significant concerns regarding their initial client interactions and overall customer service.
This article aims to provide a clear and informative overview of Frederic M. Rosen, PC, for users in the Michigan region. We will detail their practice areas, location, and contact information, drawing on publicly available data. Crucially, we will also present recent customer reviews to offer a complete picture, allowing prospective clients to make an informed decision when considering legal counsel in our state. It's important for Michigan residents to be aware of both the firm's legal focus and its reported client service issues.
According to their public information, Frederic M. Rosen, PC has been active since 1971, dedicating their practice to helping individuals who have suffered serious losses due to the negligence of others. They highlight a wealth of experience in various personal injury cases, aiming to bring swift justice and secure fair compensation for pain, medical bills, and injuries. The firm claims to have successfully recovered millions for clients, citing examples of significant settlements and verdicts in cases such as birth trauma, closed head injuries, and auto accidents. This extensive experience and track record in personal injury claims are important considerations for anyone seeking specialized legal help in Michigan.
However, in contrast to their stated dedication to clients, recent customer reviews present a concerning picture of initial interactions. Multiple individuals have reported highly negative experiences with what appears to be a paralegal named "Nancy," citing rudeness, condescension, a lack of professionalism, and even alleged breaches of confidentiality. These accounts indicate a significant disconnect between the firm's stated commitment to client attention and the actual experience of potential clients. Understanding these contrasting elements is vital for Michigan residents as they evaluate their options for legal representation.
Frederic M. Rosen, PC is centrally located in downtown Detroit, offering a professional address that is generally accessible to clients throughout Michigan. The firm's office can be found at 535 Griswold St #2040, Detroit, MI 48226, USA. This address places the firm within a prominent professional building on Griswold Street, a well-known thoroughfare in the city's central business district.
For individuals traveling by car, the downtown location benefits from its proximity to major Michigan expressways, including the Lodge Freeway (M-10) and I-75. This strategic access aims to provide relatively straightforward routes from surrounding communities across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties, as well as other regions of the state. While parking in downtown Detroit typically involves fees, there are various public and private parking garages and lots within easy walking distance of 535 Griswold St, which can make it convenient for clients to find a spot for their visit. The firm also states they offer free parking and are conveniently located between Congress and Larned, potentially referring to specific parking arrangements or nearby public options.
Public transportation is also a viable option for accessing Frederic M. Rosen, PC. The Detroit People Mover, an elevated rail system circulating throughout downtown, has stations conveniently located near Griswold Street. Additionally, numerous Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) bus routes and SMART bus lines serve the downtown area, offering extensive connections from various neighborhoods within Detroit and its suburbs. This comprehensive public transit network aims to ensure that clients who prefer not to drive or do not have access to a personal vehicle can still reach the office.
Being located on the 20th floor (suite 2040) of a professional building on Griswold Street provides a formal setting for client consultations. The central and well-connected location suggests an effort to be physically accessible to the Michigan community. However, as noted in the reviews, the firm's accessibility in terms of customer service experience upon initial contact is a significant concern for prospective clients.
Frederic M. Rosen, PC is clearly and specifically identified as a personal injury law firm, dedicated to helping individuals who have been harmed due to the negligence of others. Their primary goal is to help victims recover financial restitution for their pain, medical bills, and other damages. Based on their public information, their key practice areas include:
Auto Accidents: Representing victims of car crashes, truck accidents, and motorcycle accidents, working to secure compensation for injuries and losses sustained.
Medical Malpractice: Handling cases where individuals have suffered harm due to the negligence of medical professionals, including surgical mistakes, misdiagnosis or delays in diagnosis (such as heart attack or cancer), and birth-related injuries like birth trauma, cerebral palsy, and Erb's palsy. This also extends to hospital or HMO negligence and nursing home neglect.
Wrongful Death: Providing legal assistance to families who have lost loved ones due to another party's negligence, helping them seek compensation for their profound loss.
Slip and Fall Accidents: Representing individuals injured due to hazardous conditions on another's property, such as uneven surfaces, wet floors, or inadequate maintenance.
Construction/Job Site Injuries: Assisting workers who have been injured on construction sites or in other work-related accidents, navigating workers' compensation and other potential claims.
Police Misconduct/Brutality: Advocating for individuals who have experienced harm or civil rights violations due to police brutality or misconduct.
Closed Head Injuries: Specializing in cases involving traumatic brain injuries, which can have long-lasting and severe consequences.
Products Liability (implied): While not explicitly listed as a separate button on their website, one source mentions they appear for those harmed by "dangerous products," suggesting this as a practice area.
Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI): Assisting clients with navigating the complex process of applying for and appealing denials of Social Security Disability benefits.
The firm emphasizes that they take a "no recovery, no fee" approach to personal injury cases, meaning clients do not pay legal fees unless they win. They also highlight their extensive experience, dating back to 1971, and mention having lawyers, paralegals, and nurses on staff to evaluate and litigate serious injury cases.
Frederic M. Rosen, PC presents several key features and highlights based on their stated practice and public information, although these are significantly overshadowed by negative customer service reviews:
Extensive Experience in Personal Injury Law: The firm highlights over 40 years of experience, with Frederic M. Rosen admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1971. This long tenure indicates a deep understanding of Michigan's personal injury landscape and a history of handling complex cases.
"No Recovery, No Fee" Policy: For personal injury cases, the firm operates on a contingency fee basis, meaning clients do not pay legal fees unless a recovery is made. This is a significant advantage for injured individuals who may not have upfront funds for legal representation.
Focus on Serious Injuries and Wrongful Death: The firm explicitly states its dedication to cases involving serious injuries (including closed head injuries) and wrongful death, suggesting an ability to handle high-stakes, complex litigation.
Proven Track Record (Claimed): Frederic M. Rosen, PC asserts that they have successfully recovered millions for their clients, citing significant settlements and verdicts in cases such as birth trauma and auto accidents. This indicates a history of achieving substantial compensation for victims.
Multi-Disciplinary Staff (Claimed): The firm states they have lawyers, paralegals, and nurses on staff, which could provide comprehensive support for evaluating and litigating serious injury cases, offering a more holistic approach to understanding client injuries.
Central Downtown Detroit Location: Situated on Griswold Street, the office is in a professional and accessible area of Detroit, with stated free parking and proximity to public transport, aiming to provide convenience for Michigan clients.
24/7 Answering Service and Flexible Appointments: The firm advertises a 24/7 answering service and willingness to meet clients at the hospital, as well as offering evening and weekend appointments. This indicates a commitment to client accessibility outside of standard business hours.
However, it is crucial to juxtapose these positive claims with the significant negative feedback regarding initial customer service experiences, which suggest a severe deficiency in the client intake process and professional conduct, potentially undermining these stated highlights.
Frederic M. Rosen, PC explicitly states that they offer a "Free Consultation" for prospective clients. This is a significant and common offer within the personal injury legal field, providing a valuable opportunity for individuals in Michigan to discuss their case without any upfront financial commitment.
During this free initial consultation, clients can typically expect to:
Discuss the details of their personal injury, auto accident, medical malpractice, or other relevant legal concern.
Receive preliminary legal advice and an assessment of the potential merits of their case.
Understand the firm's approach to such cases and the potential legal process involved.
Inquire about the firm's "no recovery, no fee" policy, which is a key financial arrangement for personal injury cases.
The "no recovery, no fee" policy (also known as a contingency fee basis) is another major financial benefit highlighted by Frederic M. Rosen, PC. This means that clients will not be charged any legal fees unless the firm successfully recovers compensation for them, either through a settlement or a verdict. This arrangement significantly reduces the financial risk for injured parties seeking justice, as they don't have to pay out of pocket for legal services unless a positive outcome is achieved.
Furthermore, the firm advertises additional service accommodations that could be considered "special offers" in terms of client convenience:
24/7 Answering Service: This ensures that clients can reach someone from the firm at any time, which can be crucial in the immediate aftermath of an accident or injury.
Hospital Visits: They state a willingness to meet clients at the hospital, demonstrating a commitment to accessibility for those unable to travel.
Evening and Weekend Appointments: Offering appointments outside of typical business hours provides flexibility for clients with demanding schedules.
Free Parking: While parking in downtown Detroit can be costly, the firm states they offer free parking, which is a practical convenience for clients visiting their office.
However, it is paramount for prospective clients to consider these offers in light of the highly negative customer service reviews regarding initial contact and professionalism. While the financial and convenience offers are attractive, the reported experiences of rudeness, condescension, and alleged breaches of confidentiality by initial point-of-contact staff raise serious questions about the actual client experience during the initial outreach phase, which is when these "offers" would typically be accessed. It is advisable to approach contact with the firm with caution, keeping these reported issues in mind.
For Michigan residents seeking legal assistance from Frederic M. Rosen, PC, or to inquire about their services, the firm can be contacted directly via phone or by visiting their downtown Detroit office.
Here is the essential contact information:
Address: 535 Griswold St #2040, Detroit, MI 48226, USA
Phone: (877) 979-3946
The firm's office is located on the 20th floor (suite 2040) of a building on Griswold Street, a prominent location in Detroit's central business district. When planning an in-person visit, being aware of the specific suite number is important for navigation within the building.
It is important for prospective clients to note the phone number provided is a toll-free 877 number, indicating a broader reach for clients across Michigan. The firm also advertises a 24/7 answering service, suggesting that initial contact can be made at any time.
However, as highlighted in the "Promotions or Special Offers" section and the "Features / Highlights" section, the provided customer reviews indicate severe issues with the initial phone contact experience, specifically mentioning a paralegal named "Nancy" who was reportedly rude, condescending, and allegedly breached confidentiality. While the firm provides clear contact details, individuals reaching out should be prepared for potential challenges during their initial interaction, as per these public testimonials.
Reaching out to Frederic M. Rosen, PC is the initial step toward discussing a potential personal injury case. Given the feedback, it would be prudent for individuals to clearly articulate their needs and observe the professionalism of the person they speak with, potentially asking to speak directly with an attorney if initial interactions are unsatisfactory.
For Michigan residents seeking legal representation in personal injury matters, Frederic M. Rosen, PC, theoretically offers several compelling reasons for suitability, stemming from their long-standing practice and stated dedication to specific types of cases. However, these positive aspects are significantly overshadowed by recent and very serious concerns regarding client service during initial contact.
On the positive side, the firm's deep specialization in personal injury law, dating back to 1971, signifies extensive experience in handling cases vital to local communities, such as auto accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and slip and falls. For a Michigan resident facing a severe injury, finding a firm with a claimed track record of securing millions in settlements and verdicts could be incredibly appealing. The "no recovery, no fee" policy is also a crucial financial benefit, allowing injured individuals to pursue justice without upfront legal costs, which is highly suitable for those in vulnerable positions after an accident. Furthermore, their stated willingness to offer free parking, meet clients at the hospital, and provide evening/weekend appointments demonstrates an intent to be accessible and convenient for Michigan clients.
However, the recent customer reviews present a stark contrast to these suitable offerings. The reported experiences of rudeness, condescension, shouting, and alleged breaches of confidentiality by staff (specifically a paralegal named "Nancy") are severe red flags. For a local seeking help during a vulnerable time, such initial interactions can be incredibly distressing and damaging, eroding trust before legal work even begins. The reported call from the attorney telling a prospective client "not to call back" after complaining about the paralegal's conduct is particularly concerning, suggesting a systemic issue with client intake and conflict resolution.
While the firm's experience and contingency fee structure are objectively attractive for personal injury cases, the documented "TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE" and alleged professional misconduct create a significant barrier to suitability for Michigan locals. A law firm, especially one dealing with sensitive personal injury matters, should embody trust, empathy, and impeccable communication from the very first point of contact. The reported experiences suggest a profound failure in these crucial areas.
Therefore, while Frederic M. Rosen, PC, might possess the legal expertise for certain cases, prospective clients in Michigan should exercise extreme caution, weigh the stated legal capabilities against the very serious customer service complaints, and potentially consider alternative legal counsel to ensure they receive the respectful and professional treatment they deserve when seeking legal help.
