Lee Immigration Law Group Introduce
In the broad category of "Nearby Lawyers," individuals seeking specialized legal assistance often look for firms that offer clear communication, efficient service, and expertise in their specific legal needs. Lee Immigration Law Group, located at 3180 North Point Pkwy Building 100, Suite 106, Alpharetta, GA 30005, USA, positions itself as a provider of immigration legal services. This introduction will objectively detail the firm's environment, services, features, and promotional information, drawing from the provided client reviews to offer a balanced perspective.
The Lee Immigration Law Group is situated in a professional office building at 3180 North Point Pkwy, Building 100, Suite 106, in Alpharetta, Georgia. This address suggests a typical commercial office environment, likely designed to facilitate client consultations and administrative tasks related to immigration cases. Located within a parkway setting, the office aims to offer an accessible and professional space for clients to discuss their sensitive immigration matters. While specific details about the interior design or amenities are not available, a standard professional office space can be expected, providing a confidential setting for legal discussions.
The primary service offered by Lee Immigration Law Group, as clearly indicated by its name and client reviews, is immigration law. This encompasses assistance with various immigration processes, such as applying for green cards, handling USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) applications, and navigating the complexities of immigration law. Clients typically seek their services for guidance on visa applications, family-based petitions, naturalization, and other pathways to legal status or citizenship in the United States. The firm aims to help clients compile necessary documents, fill out forms, and provide advice crucial for ensuring a smooth application process with immigration authorities.
The features of Lee Immigration Law Group, as presented through client testimonials, offer a mixed perspective. On one hand, some clients highlight positive attributes. One review states, "From the very first call to the final emails, the team at Lee Immigration Law Group has been very responsive and efficient. The green card application process took 13 months from our initial contact, and their help in filling out various forms and documents, along with their valuable advice throughout, was crucial in ensuring a smooth process. We truly appreciate their professionalism, efficiency, and the seamless collaboration we experienced. Highly recommended!" This testimonial points to features such as responsiveness, efficiency in handling complex processes like green card applications, effective assistance with documentation, valuable advice, professionalism, and seamless collaboration. These are highly desirable qualities in any legal service provider, particularly in the often lengthy and intricate field of immigration law.
However, other features are highlighted in a more critical light by a different client. This review raises significant concerns regarding several aspects of the firm's operations. The client alleges that they "didn’t speak with anyone else at the firm" besides Xiomara León, who was later discovered to be a paralegal and not an attorney, and that "At no point did she clarify that she was not an attorney." This suggests a potential lack of transparency regarding who is providing legal advice, which is a critical ethical consideration. Further concerns include "terrible communication—they rarely answered the phone and never returned promised calls," leading the client to visit "in person every time I needed an update." Delays in document submission (from mid-August to end of October) and filing errors (missing a criminal background check for a daughter's application, resulting in a six-month delay) are also cited. The client also mentions being charged "excessively for photocopies" and feeling that the firm "only care about how much money they can take from you," specifically charging "attorney rates, but you’re attended by paralegals." The lack of response to emails and certified letters to George Lee and office manager Karen Manuel further contributes to the client's dissatisfaction. These contrasting accounts illustrate a significant divergence in client experiences and highlight key areas of concern regarding transparency, communication, efficiency, and billing practices.
From a promotional standpoint, Lee Immigration Law Group's name clearly conveys its specialization in immigration law, which is a direct message to potential clients seeking this specific type of legal assistance. The firm's contact numbers, (404) 892-8300 and +1 404-892-8300, are provided for direct inquiries. The positive testimonial serves as a strong promotional tool, highlighting the firm's perceived efficiency, professionalism, and success in navigating complex immigration processes. For clients who experience such positive outcomes, word-of-mouth and high recommendations are powerful endorsements.
Conversely, the negative testimonial acts as a significant counter-promotional element, raising serious red flags for potential clients. This review, which explicitly warns "Beware!", describes issues that could severely damage the firm's reputation if not addressed. The allegations of misrepresentation regarding the status of the person providing advice, poor communication, delays, errors, and concerns about billing practices are all critical points that prospective clients would consider. In the context of "Nearby Lawyers," firms often rely heavily on online reviews and client satisfaction to attract business, and such negative feedback can significantly impact their ability to draw new clients, especially given its detailed nature and inclusion of specific dates (July 2024, mid-August, end of October). It suggests that while the firm aims to promote itself as a professional immigration service, the client experiences vary considerably, leading to conflicting promotional messages.
In conclusion, Lee Immigration Law Group in Alpharetta, GA, operates as an immigration law firm within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, providing services related to green card applications and other USCIS processes. The firm's environment is that of a standard professional office. While some clients commend their responsiveness, efficiency, and professionalism, other clients have reported significant issues, including concerns about transparency regarding who is providing legal advice (allegations of paralegals acting as attorneys), poor communication, procedural delays, filing errors, and excessive charges. These varied accounts present a complex picture of the firm's features and promotional effectiveness, highlighting the importance for potential clients to conduct thorough due diligence when considering legal representation.

This will interest you... read it! I'm attaching proof of everything. I would give them zero stars if I could. In July 2024, I called this law firm seeking legal advice. I was given an appointment and was seen by Xiomara León. At no point did she clarify that she was not an attorney. I explained my case, and we signed a representation agreement. I didn’t speak with anyone else at the firm. By mid-August, I had provided all the necessary documents to submit my application and my children's to USCIS. Everything was signed and ready to go, but the documents weren’t submitted until the end of October. Besides, they even charge excessively for photocopies Communication was terrible—they rarely answered the phone and never returned promised calls. I ended up going in person every time I needed an update. Once the documents were finally submitted, I received a letter from USCIS stating that my daughter’s criminal background check was missing—even though I submitted all three. I still don’t understand why only two were sent. This resulted in a total delay of six months due to both the late submission and the filing errors. At this point, I was extremely dissatisfied with their representation. After doing research, I discovered that Xiomara is a paralegal, not an attorney. I never received real legal advice!! I immediately changed legal representation and sent an email to George Lee and office manager Karen Manuel (whom I never met), but received no reply. I also sent a certified letter, which they didn’t even have the decency to respond to. This shows they only care about how much money they can take from you. They charge attorney rates, but you’re attended by paralegals. Beware!
