As long as folks dont lie to their lawyer from the initial consultation, they will get better results. Lawyers cannot "win" or settle a case favorably when clients lie to their lawyers. If a client feels there was a loss, they need to check what lies they gave to the lawyer and what truths were withheld from the lawyer preventing the lawyer from advocating. Lawyers are not bound to promote and reshape lies given to them by clients. Blaming the city (instead of the owner) for declaring an illegally cut up house is not a matter a lawyer can undo. A client's job is to marshal the facts; not mask the facts.
