  • ☆☆ Money Wasted, DID NOT PROVIDE SERVICES REQUESTED ☆☆ Sent you 1/2 of your requested full fee up front for legal issue. 1st court appearance you requested 60 day continuance, fiancée and I attempted to contact you REPEATEDLY prior to next court appearance and you chose to ignore our repeated requests for a face to face consultation to discuss concerns, expectations, questions, etc. At 11:30 PM , the night before our 9am court date you call to remind us to bring your payment?!? Audaciously, you then state remaining balance at double actual amount owed. We thankfully had initial texts saved to prove original agreed upon amount. We then asked questions as to what would take place, defense, etc that you cut short and ask we come EARLY to discuss this with you. In Oklahoma, Mr Jacobs, client communication is not recommended-it is mandatory! OKLA. STAT. app. 3-A, r. 1.4(a)(1)-(5) (2011) & OK ST RPC Rule 1.4 outline your LEGAL & ETHICAL responsibilities to your client. Its under this premise we requested you to remove yourself from the case. You CHOSE to ignore Mr Sasser and his repeated attempts to make an appointment or have an indepth conversation with him PRIOR to his next court appearance. Mr Jacobs, as a practicioner of the law, do you not find it a bit hypocritical to keep money that was paid to retain services you did not render? You contacted Mr Sasser one additional time to request his mailing address! Had you received a signed contract from Mr Sasser outlining your fees, his consent as his legal representative and the outline of the responsibilities to him as your client and his responsibilities to you as his attorney then you would have had his mailing address for legal paperwork to be sent. We now publically request the return of the original retainer fee. Mr Sasser will be texting you within the hour to provide you with account information for your return of funds due to legal noncompliance of an attorney's Oklahoma state required contact to "reasonably consult with the client about the means by which the client's objectives are to be accomplished" and "consult with the client about any relevant limitation on the lawyer's conduct when the lawyer knows that the client expects assistance not permitted by the Rules of Professional Conduct." The latter was not asked of you but the former was never provided or accomplished by you.
  • Mr Jacobs has been a blessing to me. He has been helpful and is great to work with. He has helped me with two cases. I am thankful for him!
  • Mr. Jacobs represented my son & he did an excellent job. Very pleased with the outcome of the case. I recommend him to anyone in trouble.
  • Don't use him, he will loose your paper work, and will NOT keep you updated on anything that's occurring with your case. Completely unprofessional. And all the secritarys i've been in contact with have been rude. Acting as if taking my money is a waste of their time! We had to contact him to find out ANYTHING. Because he doesn't respect us enough to let us know when he has lost our paperwork.

Based on the provided customer reviews, Jacobs Daimon MYLAWSHARK appears to offer legal services that primarily involve representation in court and handling various legal issues, although specific practice areas are not exhaustively detailed.

  • General Legal Representation in Court: The reviews indicate that Jacobs Daimon undertakes legal issues that require court appearances, as one client mentions a "1st court appearance" and a "next court appearance." This suggests they provide representation in litigated matters.
  • Handling Diverse Legal Issues: One positive review mentions that Mr. Jacobs "has helped me with two cases," implying a capacity to handle different types of legal situations rather than being strictly specialized in one narrow area. This could encompass various civil or potentially criminal matters.
  • Legal Consultations: While there are noted concerns regarding communication, the reviews suggest that clients seek consultations for their legal issues, indicating that the firm offers advice and strategy discussions regarding their cases.
  • Negotiation and Case Management: The context of preparing for court dates and discussing defense strategies implies that the firm engages in case management, which typically involves negotiating with opposing parties or prosecutors, and planning legal tactics.

It is important for prospective clients to directly inquire about the specific types of cases and legal services Jacobs Daimon MYLAWSHARK focuses on to ensure alignment with their individual needs.

Based on the provided customer reviews, the features and highlights of Jacobs Daimon MYLAWSHARK present a mixed perspective, with both positive and critical feedback concerning the client experience.

  • Perceived Knowledge of the Law: One positive review praises Mr. Jacobs for being "helpful and is great to work with" and for providing help with "two cases," suggesting that some clients find him knowledgeable in legal matters.
  • Potential for Client Satisfaction: The positive review indicates a strong level of gratitude and satisfaction from at least one client, who found Mr. Jacobs to be "a blessing." This suggests that for some individuals, the service provided was effective and well-received.

However, it is crucial to also consider the concerns raised in the extensive negative review, which highlight specific areas of concern that prospective clients should be aware of:

  • Significant Communication Issues: A primary concern highlighted is a perceived lack of consistent and proactive communication. The client explicitly states "attempted to contact you REPEATEDLY" and that the attorney "chose to ignore our repeated requests for a face to face consultation." This suggests that communication, which is a mandatory ethical responsibility for attorneys, might be a point of concern for some clients.
  • Discrepancies in Billing/Fees: The review mentions an audacious claim for a "remaining balance at double actual amount owed" which was only resolved because the client had "initial texts saved to prove original agreed upon amount." This indicates potential issues with transparent or consistent billing practices.
  • Perceived Lack of Service Rendered: The client asserts "DID NOT PROVIDE SERVICES REQUESTED" and questions the attorney's ethics in keeping money for "services you did not render," implying dissatisfaction with the delivery of agreed-upon legal work.
  • Ethical and Professional Conduct Concerns: The negative review directly references Oklahoma Bar Association rules (OKLA. STAT. app. 3-A, r. 1.4(a)(1)-(5) (2011) & OK ST RPC Rule 1.4) regarding client communication, suggesting that the attorney's conduct, in this instance, fell short of professional and ethical responsibilities.
  • Lack of Signed Contract/Paperwork Management: The client's assertion that the attorney "Had you received a signed contract from Mr Sasser... then you would have had his mailing address for legal paperwork to be sent" suggests potential issues with proper onboarding and documentation procedures.

Given these divergent reviews, prospective clients should prioritize thorough due diligence, including discussing communication expectations and fee structures explicitly, before engaging services.

For legal firms like Jacobs Daimon MYLAWSHARK, "promotions or special offers" in the retail sense are generally not applicable. However, there are common practices in the legal field that aim to provide accessibility and value to prospective clients.

  • Initial Consultation: It is standard for law firms to offer some form of initial consultation. This session allows potential clients to discuss their legal matter, receive a preliminary assessment, and understand how the attorney might be able to assist them. While the specifics (e.g., whether it's free or paid) are not provided in the given information, this is a common first step for locals seeking legal advice. During this consultation, it would be prudent for prospective clients to explicitly discuss communication protocols and fee structures.
  • Contingency Fee Arrangements: Depending on the practice areas (e.g., personal injury, if offered), some firms may work on a contingency fee basis, meaning clients only pay if the attorney secures a favorable outcome. The provided information does not specify if Jacobs Daimon MYLAWSHARK offers this, but it's a common "offer" in certain legal fields.
  • Transparent Fee Discussion: While not a promotion, a professional firm should clearly outline their fee structure during initial discussions. This transparency ensures clients understand the financial aspects of their representation from the outset. Given one review's concerns about billing, prospective clients should be particularly diligent in clarifying all financial terms upfront.

To get the most accurate and current information regarding their consultation policies, fee arrangements, or any specific ways they assist new clients, it is always recommended to directly contact Jacobs Daimon MYLAWSHARK. In light of the feedback, it would be advisable to explicitly confirm communication expectations and payment agreements in writing.

For residents across Oklahoma seeking legal guidance, contacting Jacobs Daimon MYLAWSHARK is straightforward.

  • Address: You can locate their office at 601 S Boulder Ave Ste 600, Tulsa, OK 74119, USA. Their central Tulsa location makes them accessible from various parts of the city and surrounding areas, providing a convenient meeting point for clients.
  • Phone: To speak directly with Jacobs Daimon or his team, you can call their primary phone number: (918) 585-9999. This direct line ensures you can quickly connect with their office.
  • Mobile Phone: For added convenience and accessibility, particularly for initial inquiries, they also provide a mobile phone contact: +1 918-585-9999. This ensures that clients have multiple avenues for reaching out.

When you contact the office, it is advisable to have a brief summary of your legal situation prepared. Given the mixed reviews, it is especially important for prospective clients to be prepared to ask detailed questions about communication frequency, methods, and expected responses, as well as to clarify all fee arrangements and expectations regarding services to be rendered. Confirming these details in writing at the outset would be a prudent step for any new client.

Jacobs Daimon MYLAWSHARK presents a mixed picture for locals in Oklahoma, and its suitability depends heavily on a client's priorities and their diligence in establishing clear expectations upfront. On one hand, a positive review highlights that Mr. Jacobs "has been a blessing" and "helpful," indicating that for some clients, the firm has provided effective assistance and a positive working relationship. This suggests a capacity to help individuals with their legal cases and a potential for client satisfaction.

On the other hand, a detailed negative review raises significant concerns that locals should carefully consider. Issues with communication ("REPEATEDLY," "chose to ignore"), billing discrepancies, and allegations of services not rendered directly contradict the professional and ethical responsibilities outlined by Oklahoma's rules for attorneys. For locals, effective communication and transparent billing are fundamental pillars of trust in any legal engagement. The importance of clear contracts and consistent interaction, as emphasized in the critical feedback, is paramount for clients navigating stressful legal situations.

Therefore, while the firm is accessible in a central Tulsa location and has demonstrated a positive impact for some clients, its suitability for locals comes with a strong caveat. For Oklahomans considering Jacobs Daimon MYLAWSHARK, it would be absolutely critical to have a thorough initial consultation where communication expectations (frequency, method, and responsiveness) are explicitly discussed and agreed upon. Furthermore, ensuring that all fee structures are clearly outlined, understood, and preferably put into a signed written contract before any services commence, would be a vital step to prevent potential misunderstandings. Locals must prioritize their right to consistent communication and transparent billing as mandated by the Oklahoma State Bar rules. If these initial clarifications can be satisfactorily established, the firm may prove suitable for specific legal needs, but clients should proceed with an emphasis on clear, upfront agreements.
