  • Worst lawyer and paralegal (Christina Dench ) I ever dealt with!!!! First my lawyer was Dan then he quit they never told me then they switched my paralegal 3 times guessing they quit too!!! Never was prepared never gave me answers to why my law suit was taking so long. So after 2 years I finally called and asked Christina what was going on and that I wanted her to send me all the proof that they have been reaching out to the insurance company on multiple occasions. Christina said I was being aggressive with her I guess because I wanted the proof they were actually working my case. Instead of sending me the proof they sent me a letter that they were terminating representation. Oh and I tried to get a loan from my law suit which I was approved for they just needed the law firm to confirm the law suit by replying to an email and Christina never responded to the email and they sent it four times and cc me in the email each time so I knew she wasn’t responding. They were so unprofessional, I never spoke with my lawyer except the first day I filed the law suit. They built no rapport with me, they were rude, and unorganized!!!!! I will never work with them again or recommend them not if it was the last law firm on earth!!!
  • Jason Richard is a very personable man and the sort of person you would want with you at any time during your case. He is accessible, confident and very honest in his approach to every possible aspect of your needs. He will give you all possible probabilities for circumstances surrounding your situation and give you the best possible outcome. This man and his team are genuine in their approach and positive in their outcome. They are successful at what they do and will be truthful with you throughout your entire ordeal. I highly recommend them. You will not find better representation.
  • Worst Experience with a lawyer EVER. DID NOT work for my fiancé and I they worked For and With the Insurance Companies and Medical. They divided All My and My Fiancé Settlement Among themselves we received less than 10% of settlement. Was even told when I said I don't know if you work for me or them I was told they don't know either.. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER... WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!!!
  • I went to Jason for advice regarding a slip and fall. I thought, “there is no way, anyone is going to take responsibility for this.” Due to someone’s negligence, I’m just going to take it in the a$$. Literally. I fractured my tailbone. Jason and his team were great. This wasn’t an easy case to prove. He really wasn’t optimistic but he wanted to try. He felt my situation was worth the extra effort because the defendant was negligent. I’m incredibly thankful for that. Jason went above and beyond. This guy will work hard for you!! Thanks, Jason!!
  • Jason is a great attorney, did everything and anything that I asked of him. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Will work to get you what you deserve. Would reccomend him to anyone who needs a great personal injury attorney.

Richard Law Offices, a firm serving the Milwaukee, Wisconsin community. Their office is located at 710 N Plankinton Ave UNIT 804, Milwaukee, WI 53203, USA. J. Richard Law Offices is situated in a central and accessible part of downtown Milwaukee, at 710 N Plankinton Avenue. This address places the firm within a professional building, typically housing various businesses and legal practices. Being in "UNIT 804" suggests an office suite within a larger structure. While specific details about the interior decor or waiting areas are not widely available, a law office in such a location would generally be expected to provide a professional, private, and functional environment for client meetings and legal work. The downtown location offers convenience for clients traveling from different parts of Milwaukee and surrounding areas, likely with access to public transportation and potentially nearby parking facilities. The environment aims to convey a sense of established professionalism, typical of legal firms in a metropolitan area.

Based on available information, J. Richard Law Offices primarily focuses on personal injury cases. While specific details about their full range of services are not comprehensively outlined, personal injury law typically covers a wide array of situations where an individual has suffered harm due to the negligence or wrongful act of another.

Common types of personal injury cases that such a firm might handle include:

  • Car Accidents: Representing individuals injured in motor vehicle collisions, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, and pedestrian accidents.
  • Slip and Fall Accidents: Assisting clients who have suffered injuries due to unsafe property conditions.
  • Wrongful Death: Representing families who have lost loved ones due to another party's negligence.
  • Dog Bites: Handling cases where individuals are injured by animal attacks.
  • Other Negligence-Based Claims: This could encompass various scenarios where injury results from someone else's carelessness.

The core service of a personal injury law firm is to seek compensation for clients' damages, which can include medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other related costs. This often involves negotiating with insurance companies, and if necessary, pursuing litigation through trials. The firm's ability to handle the complexities of personal injury claims, from investigation to settlement or trial, would be a key aspect of their service.

The features of J. Richard Law Offices, as described by real customer reviews, present a notably contrasting picture, making an objective assessment crucial:

One review, which is significantly negative, highlights several critical concerns:

  • Lack of Communication and Transparency: "First my lawyer was Dan then he quit they never told me then they switched my paralegal 3 times guessing they quit too!!! Never was prepared never gave me answers to why my law suit was taking so long." This indicates a severe breakdown in internal communication and client updates, leading to confusion and frustration.
  • Unresponsiveness and Unprofessionalism: "So after 2 years I finally called and asked Christina what was going on and that I wanted her to send me all the proof that they have been reaching out to the insurance company on multiple occasions. Christina said I was being aggressive with her I guess because I wanted the proof they were actually working my case. Instead of sending me the proof they sent me a letter that they were terminating representation." This points to a lack of accountability, defensiveness, and an abrupt termination of services when faced with a client's legitimate request for updates.
  • Failure to Facilitate Client Needs: "Oh and I tried to get a loan from my law suit which I was approved for they just needed the law firm to confirm the law suit by replying to an email and Christina never responded to the email and they sent it four times and cc me in the email each time so I knew she wasn’t responding." This indicates a failure to perform simple but critical administrative tasks that directly impacted the client's financial needs.
  • Poor Client Relationship and Organization: "They were so unprofessional, I never spoke with my lawyer except the first day I filed the law suit. They built no rapport with me, they were rude, and unorganized!!!!! I will never work with them again or recommend them not if it was the last law firm on earth!!!" This strong language suggests a complete absence of trust and a highly unsatisfactory overall experience.

Conversely, a significantly positive review provides a very different perspective, possibly referring to Jason Richard (implied name of the lead attorney):

  • Personable and Accessible: "Jason Richard is a very personable man and the sort of person you would want with you at any time during your case. He is accessible..." This directly contradicts the prior review about not speaking with the lawyer.
  • Confident and Honest Approach: "...confident and very honest in his approach to every possible aspect of your needs. He will give you all possible probabilities for circumstances surrounding your situation and give you the best possible outcome. This man and his team are genuine in their approach and positive in their outcome. They are successful at what they do and will be truthful with you throughout your entire ordeal." This highlights transparency, realistic expectations, and a genuine commitment to client success.
  • Highly Recommended: "They are successful at what they do and will be truthful with you throughout your entire ordeal. I highly recommend them. You will not find better representation." This speaks to strong client satisfaction and belief in the firm's capabilities.

The extreme disparity in these reviews underscores the variability in client experiences, potentially due to different attorneys or staff within the firm, or differing expectations and circumstances. For potential clients, this highlights the critical importance of initial consultations and clear communication about who will be handling their case and what level of direct attorney interaction can be expected.

For local users exploring the "Nearby Lawyers" category, J. Richard Law Offices would likely promote their availability for personal injury consultations, emphasizing their commitment to helping injured individuals. Promotional material, if based on the positive review, would highlight the personable nature of "Jason Richard" and the team's honesty, accessibility, and confidence in achieving positive outcomes. They might also emphasize their success in obtaining compensation for clients. However, an objective introduction must also acknowledge the concerns raised in the negative review regarding communication, responsiveness, and professional conduct. Potential clients are advised to use the provided phone numbers, (414) 232-1792 and +1 414-232-1792, to schedule initial consultations. During these consultations, it would be prudent for prospective clients to specifically inquire about case management processes, expected communication frequency, and the specific attorney and paralegal assigned to their case to ensure their expectations align with the firm's operational practices. The firm's location in downtown Milwaukee also positions it as a convenient option for local residents seeking legal help with personal injury claims.

In conclusion, J. Richard Law Offices, situated at 710 N Plankinton Ave UNIT 804, Milwaukee, WI 53203, serves the Milwaukee community, primarily focusing on personal injury law. With contact available at (414) 232-1792, the firm elicits highly contrasting client experiences. While some clients praise "Jason Richard" and his team for being personable, honest, accessible, and successful in their approach, others report severe issues with communication, responsiveness, organization, and professional conduct. For individuals in Milwaukee seeking a "Nearby Lawyer" for personal injury matters, it is critical to engage in thorough initial discussions with J. Richard Law Offices to clarify expectations regarding case handling, communication protocols, and assigned personnel to ensure a positive and effective legal journey.
