I engaged Connelia's law office when looking for assistance drafting a Will and her firm was on the approved provider list. She was very prompt in scheduling my initial consultation and follow up appointment, and thoroughly walked through all details of the document. Connelia was courteous and professional, and I would use her services again.

Called to ask about two separate situations. One for deeds and another for litigation matters. First time I called, the secretary was very rude on the phone and just said she would call back when she could. Two days went by so I called back, again the same rude secretary. He again took my information and hung up. Ms. Houston called me back and said that she doesn't handle litigation so I said that's fine she could help me with the other situation. She said to find another attorney that would handle both. But I needed help then with the deed, but she did not want to take my case. It would be in everyone's best interest if she removed herself from the services she doesn't provide since it was a waste for me to wait for a call to then be told that she wouldn't help at all.

I would like to thank Attorney Houston for her expertise in helping me and my family understand the need and benefits of creating a Will. Attorney Houston was not only professional but demonstrated compassion as we discussed sensitive subjects to ensure the safety of my family’s legacy. I will continue use her legal services.

Connelia handled a case for me a while back and I was completely satisfied with her service. I had a LOT of questions and struggled to get everything she needed, but she was patient with me and gave me good guidance on every move. I would not only recommend her, but would use her again.

Received a call back from a very RUDE attorney Connelia Houston. I read the reviews prior to calling but thought I would try anyway. This is not someone that should be referred to by the company that referred them. I will surely let them know how rude he was when he called. And if your not able to assist why are you on the list? Remove yourself so that no one else will waste their time calling you.

When seeking legal assistance for important personal matters such as estate planning in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, finding a local and competent attorney is essential. The ‘Nearby Lawyers’ category serves as a valuable resource for connecting users with legal professionals in their vicinity. This introduction focuses on Houston Connelia, an attorney with an office located at 8210 University Executive Park Dr, Charlotte, NC 28262, USA. She can be reached at (704) 595-9146 or via her mobile number, which is the same: +1 704-595-9146.
While specific details about the physical environment of Houston Connelia's office are not extensively available online, it is typical for law offices specializing in estate planning to maintain a professional and private setting. This environment allows clients to discuss personal and often sensitive information related to their assets and wishes for the future with comfort and confidentiality. Located in Charlotte, the office likely provides accessibility for local residents seeking nearby legal assistance with wills and other estate planning documents.
Based on the limited client reviews available, Houston Connelia appears to offer services primarily in the area of estate planning, specifically mentioning the drafting of wills. One positive review highlights her promptness in scheduling consultations and follow-up appointments. The client also noted that Ms. Connelia thoroughly explained all the details of the will document, indicating a commitment to ensuring her clients understand the legal implications of their estate plans. The reviewer described Ms. Connelia as courteous and professional and expressed a willingness to use her services again in the future, suggesting a positive client experience in the realm of will preparation.
However, another review presents a contrasting experience related to services beyond estate planning. This client initially contacted the office regarding two separate legal situations: one involving deeds and another concerning litigation matters. The review details a negative initial interaction with the office secretary, characterized as rude and unhelpful, involving a failure to promptly return calls. When the client eventually spoke with Ms. Connelia, they were informed that she does not handle litigation. While the client understood this, they also needed immediate assistance with a deed matter, which they believed fell within Ms. Connelia's purview. According to the review, Ms. Connelia declined to take the case, suggesting the client find an attorney who could handle both the deed and the non-handled litigation matter. The reviewer expressed frustration at the wasted time and suggested that Ms. Connelia clarify the services she does not provide to avoid similar situations for potential clients.
Considering these two reviews, the services offered by Houston Connelia seem to primarily focus on estate planning, including the drafting of wills. The positive review indicates competence and professionalism in this area. However, the negative review suggests that her practice may not extend to other related areas, such as handling deeds independently or litigation. Potential clients with needs beyond basic estate planning should inquire specifically about the scope of her services.
A key feature highlighted by the positive review is Ms. Connelia's promptness and thoroughness in addressing estate planning matters. This suggests an efficient and detail-oriented approach to will preparation. The negative review, however, points to potential issues with the initial point of contact (the secretary) and a lack of flexibility in handling related legal needs outside her primary specialization.
Without explicit promotional information, the positive client testimonial serves as an implicit endorsement for her estate planning services, particularly for those seeking assistance with wills. The mention of being on an "approved provider list" (though the context of this list is not specified) could also be seen as a form of positive association or referral network. For local users in Charlotte seeking a ‘Nearby Lawyer’ for drafting wills, the positive review suggests that Houston Connelia offers a courteous, professional, and thorough service.
However, potential clients should be aware of the limitations in her practice areas, as indicated by the negative review regarding deeds and litigation. It would be prudent for individuals with multiple or varied legal needs to clearly communicate the specifics of their situation during the initial contact to ensure Ms. Connelia's services align with their requirements. The experience with the secretary also highlights the importance of the entire office's professionalism in client interactions.
In conclusion, Houston Connelia, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, appears to be an attorney whose practice focuses on estate planning, with a positive client experience reported for will drafting. She is described as prompt, courteous, professional, and thorough in this area. However, her practice may not extend to other related legal needs such as handling deeds independently or litigation matters. Potential clients in the ‘Nearby Lawyers’ category in Charlotte should be aware of these nuances. Individuals specifically seeking assistance with wills may find her services suitable, while those with broader legal needs should inquire about the full scope of her practice and be prepared for potentially limited services outside of estate planning. The contrasting review also underscores the importance of clear communication regarding service areas during the initial contact with the office.
