The available client reviews present significantly contrasting experiences with Wright Heather C. One review, written three years prior, describes a "very difficult and emotional case" where the client exclusively considered Heather Wright for representation. This client indicates satisfaction with the handling of their case, acknowledging its complexity resulted in no clear winner. Beyond the legal aspects, the reviewer praises Heather Wright for providing emotional support, acting as "a shoulder to cry on" while maintaining professionalism. This client strongly recommends Heather Wright, stating that "no one will fight harder for you or your firm." This positive testimonial suggests a dedicated and supportive attorney who advocates strongly for her clients.

However, a subsequent review, initially posted a year prior to its reposting on 2/28/18, presents a starkly negative experience. This reviewer details their interactions with Heather C Wright over two-plus years in a family law case where Ms. Wright served as the children's guardian ad litem. The complaints raised are substantial and cover several areas of concern. Firstly, the reviewer alleges "outrageous legal bills" involving overbilling, invoicing for inquiries about invoices, and charges for billing errors. Secondly, the review cites "long delays," specifically mentioning an 18-month period to produce a 14-page report deemed weak and not thorough, which the reviewer believes should have taken less than three months. Time management issues are also highlighted, with claims of Ms. Wright being consistently late for meetings, calls, and mediation, and even billing for a late notification email.

The most significant complaints in the negative review pertain to Ms. Wright's handling of sensitive parenting and child custody issues. The reviewer felt Ms. Wright, despite primarily having a business law firm, lacked sufficient knowledge and empathy in family law. Specific examples of concerning recommendations include suggesting parents move out of the home while children remain, splitting up siblings, and a lack of awareness regarding school schedules and daycare. The reviewer accuses Ms. Wright of making decisions based on personal biases rather than the children's best interests, describing her behavior as "unethical" and indicative of a lack of experience in family law. Furthermore, the reviewer characterizes Ms. Wright as "hot headed, abrupt, favoring bullying tactics," citing an instance of threatening to contact their parish priest. The reviewer also claims Ms. Wright was unprofessional and unprepared for court.

The strongly negative review concludes with a duty-bound warning against recommending Heather C Wright for any family law case, particularly those involving child custody. The reviewer advises seeking lawyers or guardians ad litem who exclusively practice family law and emphasizes the importance of checking their trial history and judicial experience. The reviewer also speculates that Ms. Wright's lack of children may contribute to her perceived lack of empathy and disregard for family structure, alleging that her actions caused harm to the children's well-being and that she seemed more focused on avoiding court rather than the children's best interests. The reviewer also claims continued billing after the case's conclusion and threats of legal action. Notably, this negative review comes from the custodial parent who was reportedly praised in Ms. Wright's report, suggesting even the favored party had significant issues with her conduct. The reviewer ends with a strong admonition to avoid this attorney for family law advice.

Considering these two diametrically opposed reviews, it is challenging to provide a definitive characterization of Wright Heather C's services. The positive review highlights dedication and strong advocacy, while the negative review raises serious concerns about billing practices, time management, preparedness, and especially the handling of sensitive family law matters, including allegations of inexperience and bias. Potential clients should carefully consider both perspectives and conduct thorough due diligence if considering engaging Wright Heather C for legal services, particularly in family law cases.

The provided information does not include any explicit promotional details for Wright Heather C's practice. Law firms sometimes offer free initial consultations or highlight specific areas of expertise or successful outcomes as promotional strategies. In the absence of such information here, potential clients will need to rely on the available reviews and their own direct interactions with the attorney to assess whether her services align with their specific legal needs and expectations.

In conclusion, Wright Heather C is an attorney located in Atlanta, GA, at 50 Lenox Pointe NE Suite B, listed under the "Nearby Lawyers" category. She reportedly handles business law and takes family law cases. The client reviews offer drastically different perspectives, with one praising her dedication and support in a complex case, while the other details numerous serious complaints regarding billing, time management, professionalism, and particularly her handling of a child custody matter as a guardian ad litem. Potential clients in Atlanta should carefully weigh these contrasting experiences and conduct thorough inquiries to determine if Wright Heather C's services meet their specific legal requirements and if they are comfortable with the concerns raised in the negative review, especially for family law cases.

Three years ago I was in need of an attorney. I never considered anyone other than Heather Wright. It was a very difficult and emotional case. In addition to handling the case to our satisfaction (due to the complexity of the case there were no winner on either side) she was a shoulder to cry on all the while taking care of the business at hand as a true professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heather to anyone seeking an attorney. No one will fight harder for you or your firm.

I left this review a year ago but it was taken down so I am reposting 2/28/18. Ms. Heather C Wright has a business law firm but also takes family law cases in which my ex and I unfortunately had to deal with her for 2+ years as she served as our children’s guardian ad litem. What ensued were outrageous legal bills (where she overbilled and invoiced us for inquiring about her invoices and charged us for her billing errors), long delays (18 months to generate a weak 14 page report that was not strong enough or thorough for court and should have been completed in less than 3 months), time management issues (she was late for every meeting, phone call, and even mediation and once billed me when she returned my email telling me she was on another call and was going to be late for my planned phone call ). My largest complaint is Ms Wright’s inability to deal with sensitive issues of parenting and child custody. I felt as though she took on a couple of volunteer cases and then considered herself an expert on child custody making such horrendous decisions or recommendations as having parents move out of home while kids stay (yes she recommended this), splitting children up, unaware of school schedule and daycare issues, Her lack of knowledge of family issues such as young children’s medical and emotional needs and making decisions based on her like or dislike of a particular parents behavior towards her was unethical and illustrating her lack of experience in family law. I found her to be hot headed, abrupt, favoring bullying tactics (once threatening to contact my parish priest if I showed up at church when my ex did), unprofessional and was unprepared for court. I am duty bound to inform others that I would NEVER recommended Heather C Wright in any family law case particularly dealing with child custody. Find a lawyer or GAL who works solely in family law, check online the number of cases they have tried and what judges they have had cases under and find out if they have children of their own (She does not which may also explain her lack of empathy and disregard for family structure. She did more harm to my children’s physical and emotional health and seemed more concerned with ensuring we never set foot in a court room or face a judge.). Ms. Wright seemed inexperienced, changed rules along the way and certainly didn’t have the children’s best interest in mind. I have written emails and phone calls to substantiate my claims. By the way she continued to bill me after the case had ended and threatened legal action. And I am the custodial parent and the parent Ms Wright praised in her report so imagine what my ex thinks of her. Run don’t walk away from this attorney. I would never trust her family law advice.
