Scott Ugell is BRILLIANT, ATTENTIVE, COMPASSIONATE & incredibly, DOWN TO EARTH. His staff is a power team! He & his staff always respond via email & call me right away. I feel blessed to have been introduced to Scott. He & his team always resolve any questions I have pertaining to my business or legal issues quickly. I have referred clients to Scott through the years & they are always happy I did. In fact, I have not referred 1 client that has not come out winning. The 1st time I went to Scott’s office I felt welcomed & he was ready to see me right away. I am a single mother of 2 young boys & I have a small business in New City. It’s important to have someone like Scott. Especially in times like Covid regulations, courts being virtual & our school system changing from virtual to remote. Scott is very active in volunteering in our community & truly cares to help out. It’s pretty obvious that he has been practicing law for a lifetime because he seems to handle his profession with ease & grace. I never feel like I am bothering him & that makes me feel incredibly comfortable. Oh & he has a great sense of humor! My family & I have worked with Scott Ugell's law firm for over 15 years on many different matters. We have never felt more at ease regardless of the tasks we have presented his firm. From the receptionists, to the Paralegals, and then of course the attorney.. They have always been very clear, and precise with the advice and recommendations on all our matters. We feel extremely fortunate to have been recommended his services to us 15 years ago. Scott is amazing to work with. We highly recommend Scott B. Ugell !

Let me be clear to anyone considering using the Ugell Lawfirm for bankruptcy or family law. **DO NOT**! Scott brought me down to his office and looked me in my eye and promised that I was in good hands. In a time of need, where my 8 year old sons welfare was at stake, Scott assured me that I was going to have the best representation money could buy. That he knew exactly how to handle my type of situation, and that he would make sure everything is done correctly. He explained how he was a Judge and that he knew everyone in the court personally. He tried to be charming and put me at ease. As soon as Scott swiped our credit card, the problems began. Error upon error upon error. The guidance he gave was limited and misinformed, the things promised were not delivered, none at all. 5 months of constant errors, then broken promises to make up for those perpetrated errors. The plans that he outlined from the beginning were drawn out and I continuously would have to re emphasize basic details that he should have wrote down. Emails I sent would be responded to in short or not at all. Phone calls that he charged an arm and a leg for, that I would ask him to grab a pen and paper to make sure he wrote down specific requests I made for motions and documents I wanted filed, he would completely forget about or ignore. Anytime there was an error Scott would blame his secretary, when most of these errors were tasks that were his responsibility to oversee. Scott took all of our money, and then some and did not deliver on anything that he said. He is dealing with delicate situations involving children and their direct well being and he doesn't take this responsibility seriously in any regard, Nor appear to have the heart to care. Point blank. Scott will charge you 450$ an hour and ask for a high retainer then sit back and let your money burn up, and somehow not manage to get a single thing done. The services provided by Scott Ugell's law office are appalling and completely misinformed. Scott Ugell does not deliver what he says, or even attempt to do the work. Consider yourself warned. Or his favorite sign off in emails, "Please Be Guided Accordingly", and trust me, with Scott Ugell, you won't be guided at all.

Scott Ugell and his firm made the tense and hard experience of losing our home much easier for us. They worked for us to get a favorable result for all. Maria luisa was such a pleasure to work with and Johanna in the office always relayed messages and was so helpful. Scott and his staff were responsive, helpful and a God send for me.

I used Scott Ugell law firm recently , it was a great experience. The staff were very efficient Christine the paralegal and Joana were absolutely phenomenal. They always answered my calls and got back to me promptly with answers and messages from Mr Ugell. They are reasonable and not put pressure on you for money. Mr ugell was always available to answer or return my calls and he always find time to sit down and listen to my concerns and provide me with advice . Very comfortable to work with him, I can't thank him and his team enaugh for their services. If anyone is looking for a good family lawyer, I strongly recommend his law firm and I will definitely use them again if needed.
