Given the serious nature of the issues raised in the customer reviews, it is crucial for potential clients to carefully consider this feedback when evaluating The Law Offices Of Jonathan S. Frank, PC. One review details an experience where, despite paying for a living trust, the client allegedly did not receive adequate guidance on asset transfer, resulting in an unfunded trust. The reviewer also mentions what they perceived as "nickel & dime" charges, including a separate notary fee, and ultimately expresses disappointment and lack of recommendation.
Another review describes a highly concerning experience related to a parent's estate. The reviewer claims the firm initially denied their authorization as Power of Attorney and suggested the need for a guardian, proposing Mr. Frank for this role at a yearly fee. The reviewer states that a different attorney later confirmed their POA status. Furthermore, this reviewer alleges that The Law Offices Of Jonathan S. Frank, PC, refused to release their paperwork for three weeks and intentionally avoided their calls. These allegations paint a picture of potential miscommunication, obstruction, and questionable advice.
These customer reviews, while representing individual experiences, raise significant red flags about the firm's service quality, communication practices, and potentially their understanding of estate law. Potential clients should be aware of these serious allegations when considering engaging The Law Offices Of Jonathan S. Frank, PC.
Features that are typically expected from a law office include professional expertise, clear communication, diligent representation, and ethical conduct. However, based on the provided reviews, there are serious concerns about whether these features were consistently demonstrated in the reported client experiences. A few years back went to Jonathan Frank for a Living Trust. Thousands later we had a Trust Document but no idea how to do the asset transfers - it never did get funded. He even charged separate notary fee. Nickel & dime. Sheesh. We were disappointed and confused. We very recently went to another attorney (not Jonathan Frank) to update the old documents & all went smoothly and the new attorney even handled transfer of house into trust assets. Mr Frank is a nice enough man but not recommended.
I hired Mr. Frank’s firm to assist me with a parent’s estate. Firm claimed I had no authorization to become POA, and that I’d need to find a Gurdian for the estate. Firm went on to tell me the court would not deem me an appropriate fit to be the Guardian of the estate for my own parent, and claimed we would have to have Mr. Frank become Guardian of the estate for a yearly fee. I went to a different attorney who quickly saw that I did in fact have the needed paperwork to become POA. Mr. Frank’s firm then refused to release my own paperwork back to me for three weeks and transferred all my calls directly to voicemail (unless I called from a different number they didn’t have on file), and failed to return calls.
