The Law Office of Tracy Guerra Introduce
For local users in the "Nearby Lawyers" platform category seeking legal assistance, particularly in landlord-tenant disputes and eviction matters in Long Beach, California, The Law Office of Tracy Guerra is located at 235 E Broadway Ste 314. However, it is crucial for potential clients to carefully consider the information available from online reviews before engaging their services. The feedback from individuals who have used this law office presents a concerning picture of their handling of eviction cases.
One detailed review describes a "dire squatter situation" in Long Beach where the client hired The Law Office of Tracy Guerra, specifically paying a significant sum to ensure the accuracy of a 3-day notice. According to this client, the firm "completely butchered" this critical initial step. The review further alleges that Tracy Guerra was hesitant to proceed to trial due to this error. The client expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the outcome, stating that the entire process cost approximately $8,000 for what they perceived to be around two hours of work. Adding to their frustration, the client claims they did not even recognize Tracy Guerra at court, suggesting a lack of prior communication or preparation. The client felt coerced into accepting a "terrible deal" that allowed the squatter to evade accountability for damages caused to the property. The review concludes with a strong warning against hiring this firm, describing them as "sloppy, unresponsive, greedy" and even comparing them unfavorably to the tenants they were hired to evict.
Another review echoes similar sentiments of dissatisfaction. This client goes as far as to label the firm as "some of the worst people to deal with," asserting they are "honestly worse than problem tenants." The reviewer alleges overcharging and a lack of effective action. They contend that eviction processes are typically procedural and straightforward, suggesting that a standard eviction service would provide better results at a fraction of the cost. The review also mentions the common tactic of tenants filing unlawful detainer suits to gain time, noting that cases rarely proceed to trial. Despite this, the client claims that The Law Office of Tracy Guerra instilled fear by emphasizing preparation for a "JURY TRIAL," leading to a $5,000 payment for what the client perceived as inaction. This reviewer also expresses difficulty in meeting with the attorney, stating that a scheduled meeting a month in advance was canceled due to a last-minute "emergency." The client reports finally meeting the attorney on the day of trial, reinforcing the impression of a lack of prior engagement or preparation.
The physical environment of The Law Office of Tracy Guerra, located in Suite 314 at 235 E Broadway in Long Beach, is likely a standard professional office setting within a commercial building. While specific details about the ambiance are not provided, potential clients can expect a reception area and private consultation rooms typical of a law office. However, considering the negative feedback regarding the firm's services, the physical environment may be of secondary concern to the quality of legal representation provided.
Based on the limited information and the strongly negative client reviews, it is challenging to definitively outline the services provided by The Law Office of Tracy Guerra. The reviews specifically discuss their handling of eviction cases, suggesting that landlord-tenant law is one area of their practice. However, the critical feedback raises serious concerns about the effectiveness and professionalism of these services. Potential services might include preparing and serving notices (like the 3-day notice mentioned), filing unlawful detainer lawsuits, representing clients in court proceedings related to eviction, and negotiating settlements. However, the reviews indicate significant shortcomings in the execution of these services, particularly in the crucial initial stages of eviction proceedings and in trial preparedness.
The features that emerge from the client reviews are overwhelmingly negative. Allegations of sloppiness in handling critical documents, unresponsiveness to client needs, and perceived greed due to high fees for unsatisfactory service are significant concerns. The lack of apparent preparation for court and the alleged coercion into accepting unfavorable settlements are also serious issues for potential clients to consider. The difficulty in communicating with the attorney prior to court appearances, as mentioned in one review, suggests a lack of client engagement and personalized attention. These negative features, as described by multiple clients, paint a concerning picture of the firm's operational style and client relations.
Given the nature of the provided information, which consists entirely of negative client reviews, there is no positive promotional information to present. Instead, the experiences shared by past clients serve as a cautionary note for local users seeking legal assistance in eviction matters. The significant financial costs reported by clients, coupled with allegations of errors, lack of preparation, and poor client communication, should prompt potential clients to exercise extreme caution and thoroughly vet other legal options in the Long Beach area before considering The Law Office of Tracy Guerra.
For local users in Long Beach facing eviction issues and searching within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, it is strongly recommended to carefully consider the experiences shared by previous clients of The Law Office of Tracy Guerra. The allegations of botched legal documents, lack of preparedness, poor communication, and perceived overcharging are serious red flags. While the office is physically located at 235 E Broadway Ste 314, the negative feedback suggests that local users may find more effective and reliable legal representation elsewhere in the Long Beach area. It would be prudent to seek out attorneys or firms with a more positive track record and a reputation for thoroughness, responsiveness, and client satisfaction in landlord-tenant law.
In conclusion, while The Law Office of Tracy Guerra is listed as a "Nearby Lawyer" in Long Beach, CA, the available information from online reviews presents a significantly negative perspective on their handling of eviction cases. Potential local users should be aware of the serious allegations of errors, lack of preparation, poor communication, and overcharging before considering engaging this firm for their legal needs. It is highly recommended to research and consider alternative legal representation options in the Long Beach area that have a more positive and reliable track record in landlord-tenant law and eviction proceedings.

I usually don't write reviews but will make an exception for these people. I hired them to handle a dire squatter situation in Long Beach and paid an excessive amount of money just so they get the 3 day notice correct. They completely butchered the 3 day notice. And Tracy was scared to go to trial because he knew he completely botched that 3 day notice. The only thing they were supposed to get right, they got completely wrong. The entire thing cost me about 8 grand. For approx. 2 hrs of their work. I came to court not even knowing what Tracy looks like, and it was obviously he had never even looked at my case before trial. He coerced me into accepting a terrible deal by which the squatter was able to get away with everything he had done including completely destroying my house. Please do not make the mistake of hiring these folks. Sloppy, unresponsive, greedy. They are worst than the tenants you are trying to evict.
Some of the worst people to deal with. They are honestly worse than problem tenants. They overcharge, and do absolutely nothing. Evictions are very procedural and very straightforward. And any eviction service will do a better job for 1/4 of the price. Also every tenant will answer unlawful detainer suit to buy themselves time, and cases almost never go to trial. yet These guys scare the living * out of you and say they're preparing you for JURY TRIAL. So you pay them 5,000.00 for them to do absolutely nothing. You will meet the bald guy the day of trial. I actually wanted to meet with him before. To see what he looks like. And we scheduled a meeting 1 month in advance. And he had an "emergency" to go to so cancelled 30 minutes before.
I highly recommend Tracy! He is professional, knowledgeable and he showes compassion towards his clients. He was able to resolve my issue amicably. I truly appreciate the effort that He. DONNA and Maria put into my case. The office staff were also professional, helpful and pleasant.
2017 I had Eviction case with other Attorney, I had to come to Tracy for help, Tracy took care of me, I’m very grateful.
