I was more than fortunate to have found Mr. Wise. I was at the point of abandoning my attempt to obtain a long-stay visa for France. I remain grateful for his professional, kindness, and support, as well as that of his colleagues that ended with success.

He was unfriendly, unkind, and unapproachable. I had to hang up because I was getting so upset on the call and felt a bit attacked at the end.

As the son of a French citizen, it was a lifelong dream of mine to claim my dual citizenship, but I had no idea how to go about it.
