Best lawyer out there you guys be aware of any other lawyer selling you dreams and hopes, this man goes straight forward to the point just bring all your documentation his attitude ain’t bad at all but if you fail to keep a record of all of your paperwork don’t expect others to treat you right!! Speak with sense guys know what you need. He took me out of a situation where others would of just let me down he didn’t he’s still my lawyer I would never trust no other lawyer. Simple the best in the game.

Very unprofessional and and will hang up in your face when you are asking for documentation of his work. My husband paid 7000 to him via money order because he requested it that way and has nothing to show for the work he was paid to do. I will be filing a formal complaint on this business with the better business bureau and any future clients beware of this man. You’re better off representing yourself. It’s very sad with how hard it is for the foreign culture to get the opportunity to seek permanent residency in the United States but to be taken advantage of from someone you’re supposed to be trusting. It’s very sad. Over all he was paid over 30,000 for barely any results and absolutely no communication.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I would like to preface this review by saying we have used this practice in the past and we were able to get my husbands green card with their services. It was a long, money grabbing and painstaking process but they were able to make it happen. Since we had experience, a poor experience, but an experience nonetheless my husband asked that I pay them a visit to see about first securing a green card for his mother and then his sister. I disdainfully agreed due to the past experience but he is a big believer in repeat business. I called over to make sure it would be OK if i stopped by and asked some questions and was told to come by anytime before 5 PM. I arrived at 4:03 PM and upon entering sat down because no one was behind the front desk. Miguel Mendizabal walked up (Our previous lawyer) and it seems that time has done nothing to soften his gruff, tactless and rude manner. Without so much as a second spent listening to me or seeing if he could help he said that my husband would have to be there. I understand that for formal contracts, applications and other forms of actual work he would need to be there but refusing to answer preliminary questions was ludicrous, yet not surprising to me. I asked plainly just to make sure, "So you cannot answer any preliminary questions?" and his response was "If the questions are basic call immigration and ask them." His attitude towards a person trying to bring him business was extremely telling of his low rating across social media. Mr. Mendizabal judging by your attitude I doubt you will care but I hope you see this and know that you get what you give so I would try to be a kinder person moving forward. If you have made it to this part of my lengthy review I hope you realize this is an office you should stay away from.

Wow! What should have been a straight forward consultation turned into whirlwind very fast for my $. He was very rude to the point of stupidity and a dummy could sense the condescension. He kept on fidgeting and did not listen. Very simple questions about my immigration letter he did not give any answer to. He wouldn't even look at my letter. He did nothing but stonewalled me. He asked if I had anymore questions I could only say "enjoy your day." What's the sense if none is answered? He kept referring to the internet! I was almost in tears because I needed advice and never imagined to be treated this way. I wasted my time and money but that's how life is you win some and you lose some.

I called this office earlier this morning. A guy picks up the phone. I had some concerns and questions about my paperwork I politely ask him what documents do I need to bring in and he answered back very very very rudely in a totally unprofessional manner sounded like he was frustrated with his life, a complete idiot. Do not waste your time here at this place.

While specific features and highlights are not extensively detailed in the provided information, we can infer certain aspects and also draw upon the customer reviews to identify what might be considered distinguishing characteristics of The Immigrants' Rights Center. It's important to present these with a balanced perspective, acknowledging both positive and negative feedback from clients:
- Direct Communication and Focus: One client review suggests that the lawyer "goes straight forward to the point" and advises clients to "bring all your documentation." This implies a no-nonsense, results-oriented approach that values preparedness and clear communication regarding expectations and necessary paperwork.
- Potential for Effective Results in Challenging Cases: A positive review highlights that the lawyer "took me out of a situation where others would of just let me down." This indicates a potential ability to handle difficult or complex immigration cases where other legal professionals might have faltered, suggesting a strong commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Experience and Specialization in Immigration Law: The firm's name, "The Immigrants' Rights Center," unequivocally points to a specialized focus on immigration law. This specialization can be a significant highlight, as it suggests deep knowledge and experience in this specific, often complex, legal field. Clients seeking immigration assistance often prefer attorneys who concentrate solely on this area.
- Importance of Client Preparedness: The advice to "bring all your documentation" and "keep a record of all of your paperwork" underscores a feature where client cooperation and organization are crucial for the lawyer to perform effectively. This suggests a practice that operates more efficiently when clients are proactive in providing necessary information.
- Customer Service Considerations: It is important to acknowledge the negative feedback regarding "unprofessional" behavior, hanging up on clients, and lack of documentation or communication. While one positive review praises the lawyer's effectiveness, the negative feedback suggests that client communication and transparency in work documentation could be areas of concern for some clients. This highlights that while the firm may achieve results for some, the client experience can vary.
- Payment Practices: The mention of payment via "money order" as requested by the lawyer is a specific procedural detail that could be a feature of their payment acceptance, which some clients might find noteworthy.
As a local business operating in a service-oriented field, promotions or special offers are common ways for legal firms to attract new clients or provide introductory services. However, based on the provided information, there are no specific promotions or special offers explicitly mentioned for The Immigrants' Rights Center. In the legal field, rather than traditional discounts, "special offers" often manifest as:
- Free Initial Consultations: Many law firms offer a complimentary first meeting to discuss a potential client's case, assess their needs, and determine if the firm is the right fit. This allows individuals to receive preliminary advice without an upfront financial commitment. While not confirmed, this is a common practice among law offices.
- Flexible Payment Plans: For services that can be costly, some firms may offer payment plans to help clients manage the financial burden over time. This could be considered a "special offer" in terms of accessibility.
- Reduced Fees for Specific Case Types: Occasionally, firms may offer reduced fees for certain straightforward or pro bono-eligible cases, although this is less common for standard legal services.
- Community Workshops or Seminars: While not a direct offer on legal services, some firms host free or low-cost workshops to inform the community about immigration law changes or common issues, indirectly attracting clients.
To inquire about any potential current promotions, introductory offers, or consultation policies, it is always recommended to directly contact The Immigrants' Rights Center using the provided contact information.
