I would give full marks to Carlina for her work on my case - she is absolutely wonderful and one of the best. The reason that I just have 3 stars in the overall rating is because they had a bad apple in their firm who perhaps hated immigrants- Elena Gunn. Elena not only made a very poor case on my behalf to the USCIS but also gave me really bad advice when the case had a negative outcome, something that even a non lawyer could figure out was not the right action in that situation. Be careful who you hire to your firm.
I fully recommend Tapia-Ruano & Gunn as attorneys for your immigration needs. I am a former client and they have helped me through multiple processes. From my many DACA applications, to when I got married and applied for residency and finally my appication for naturalization. I have retained them for nearly 10 years and they every single time they have guided me through the immigration process. They are very detailed in what to expect of the process and what documentation is required. They are very clear as to what you must bring the interviews. If you need a great attorney to represent you, you do not have to search further.
Mrs Tapia-Ruano and her team are the best professional lawyers we've ever met in Chicago. All we can say is that they have provided for us excellent client service all the time, even though we've communicated mostly via emails.
