Unethical and irresponsible. I am a licensed clinical therapist and own a substance use/mental health clinic. Mark Gerganoff was opposing counsel and made regular attempts with my girlfriend via texting and voicemails to give him my private information. After the case was settled, someone in his office shared intimate details with a client at my practice who subsequently dropped out of treatment, relapsed, and registered a complaint with DORA. In my profession, we are heavily regulated (which we should be) to provide the public a degree of safety when they pursue treatment. Sharing negative information with a woman who is in Intensive Outpatient Treatment for substance use disorder and newly sober is unethical and irresponsible. There are many attorneys and law firms that treat people ethically and responsibly. The law firm at Spies, Powers & Robinson is not one of them.

I recently had a case against Brendan Powers and found his ethics to be lacking in regards to litigation tactics. I caution anyone hiring him and anyone acting pro se against him to beware of false claims, complete misstatements of law and deception. Worst experience with opposing counsel I’ve had in 20 years as an attorney.

Amazingly frustrating experience with Brendan Powers. Lots of misleading, if not patently false statements made and overly aggressive based on my experience in litigation with far more seasoned attorneys.

Did not have a good experience. Special needs education. Do your research before you choose a law firm, one eon case isn’t justification in choosing a good attorney
