Understanding the Potential Services Offered:
Based on the context of the customer reviews, it can be inferred that Sedita, Campisano & Campisano likely offers services in areas such as:
- Estate Law: One review explicitly mentions the firm representing an executrix of a father's estate, suggesting they handle estate administration matters. This could include probate, asset distribution, and related legal processes.

- Contract Law: An inquiry about an update on a contract suggests that the firm provides services related to contract drafting, review, and potential disputes.
It is important to note that without a comprehensive list of their practice areas, these inferences are based solely on the issues raised in the available customer reviews. To gain a complete understanding of all the legal services offered by Sedita, Campisano & Campisano, direct contact with the firm is recommended.
Features and Potential Strengths (Based on Limited Positive Feedback):
One of the provided reviews offers a positive perspective, stating:
- Amazing Attorneys and Staff: This suggests that at least one client experienced the attorneys and staff as highly competent and effective.
- Go Above and Beyond for Clients: This indicates a potential strength in client service, with the firm willing to put in extra effort to meet client needs.
- Highly Recommend This Team: This strong endorsement suggests that some clients have had very positive experiences and would recommend the firm to others.
This positive feedback highlights the potential for excellent service and client satisfaction at Sedita, Campisano & Campisano.
Features and Potential Weaknesses (Based on Negative Feedback):
In contrast, another review details several negative experiences:
- Poor Communication: The client experienced a lack of timely communication regarding the termination of representation, only finding out a month after the decision was made.
- Issues with Retainer Check: The initial retainer check was returned due to insufficient funds, leading to further inconvenience and raising questions about the firm's financial management or communication with the client about the check.
- Unprofessional Conduct by Staff: The client reported being yelled at by a staff member when inquiring about a replacement check, indicating a potential issue with customer service.
- Suspicion and Lack of Trust: The attorney, Frank, appeared suspicious of the client's intentions from the outset, potentially creating an uncomfortable and unproductive attorney-client relationship.
- Disagreement on Property Valuation: The firm disagreed with the client's valuation of an inherited property, even when the client provided a rationale based on appraisal and local real estate expertise, and despite the client's brother (another party in the estate) agreeing with the valuation. This disagreement led to the firm ceasing representation.
- Termination of Representation Based on Disagreement: The decision to stop representing the client based on a difference of opinion regarding property valuation, without seeing the property or further discussion, suggests a lack of flexibility or willingness to work through disagreements.
- Waste of Time: The overall experience was described as a "huge waste of time" by one client, indicating significant dissatisfaction and inefficiency in their interaction with the firm.
These negative points raise concerns about communication practices, professionalism, client relations, and the firm's approach to handling disagreements.
Promotional Information and Considerations for Local Users:
For local users in Fairfield, NJ, considering Sedita, Campisano & Campisano for their legal needs, it is crucial to weigh the contrasting experiences reported by previous clients. One review suggests the potential for "amazing" service and a team that goes "above and beyond." However, another review details significant issues with communication, professionalism, and the handling of disagreements, leading to a negative overall experience.
Given this mixed feedback, local users are strongly encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before engaging Sedita, Campisano & Campisano. This may include:
- Contacting the firm directly: Discuss your specific legal needs and assess their responsiveness, communication style, and approach to handling potential challenges.
- Asking specific questions: Inquire about their procedures for communication, handling retainer funds, and addressing disagreements that may arise during representation.
- Seeking additional reviews or references: Look for other online reviews or ask the firm for references from past clients with similar legal needs.
- Considering alternative legal options: Explore other law firms in the Fairfield area to compare services, reputations, and client experiences.
While one client had a highly positive experience, the detailed negative review raises significant concerns that potential clients should carefully consider. The issues of poor communication, unprofessional staff interaction, and the seemingly abrupt termination of representation based on a difference of opinion are factors that could impact the attorney-client relationship and the overall outcome of a legal matter.
In conclusion, Sedita, Campisano & Campisano in Fairfield, NJ, presents a mixed picture based on the limited available customer reviews. While one client praised their attorneys and staff for going above and beyond, another detailed a significantly negative experience involving poor communication, issues with a retainer check, unprofessional staff behavior, and a disagreement leading to the termination of representation. Local users should carefully consider these contrasting perspectives and conduct thorough research before deciding whether to engage this firm for their legal needs. Direct communication with the firm and exploration of other options are strongly recommended to make an informed decision.

Frank and his brother decided to stop representing me, but didn't tell me until a month later when I asked for an update on a contract in an email. When they returned the retainer, I tried to deposit the check but my bank returned it saying the account had insufficient funds. I called asking for a new check and a lady started yelling at me saying, "No! No! Absolutely not!" which I didn't appreciate. I resent the check to my bank and it got deposited the second time, so I don't know if the issue was on their end or my bank's, but again the poor communication was disappointing. Frank seemed to be suspicious of my intentions from the very beginning. I'm the executrix of my father's estate, and before I even got into the details he said, "Your brother may need to obtain independent representation." It was weird comment because my brother is an adult and I've never stopped him from seeking representation, and we are not in any conflict. Additionally, they didn't like the value I put on a home I inherited (it had been appraised right before covid and I had a local real estate agent who has been in the house give me an estimate of the increase of value, which I added to the appraised value). I chose to use this value for the contract rather than the zillow and redfin estimates they sent and that's when they decided to stop representing me because they thought it wasn't a fair value, even though my brother left them a message agreeing with the valuation and they never saw the house. Overall dealing with them was huge waste of time.
Amazing attorneys and staff. They really go above and beyond for their clients. I highly recommend this team.
Frank is very professional, helpful, courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend him.
