After a consultation with a big NYC employment firm and I didn’t feel like I was important to them in any way I found Alix Rubin. I emailed her late one night with my story and within the hour she emailed me back. I thought that was a good sign and I wasn’t wrong. I worked with Alix and Ashley one of the attorneys in her firm and honestly I don’t know what I would have done without them. My issues were resolved quickly and without any drama. I am very pleased with the employment law advice I received from Alix Rubin, owner of Rubin Employment Law. My former employer had a reduction in force, resulting in an involuntary termination. The company, in the severance letter, recommended talking to an attorney. I took the company's advice. I needed to act quickly and Alix looked promising just from quick research and location. Thin reasons, but speed was necessary. Alix was able to see me quickly, and after meeting for our first consultation, I was very happy that my research led me to her office. As expected, she understood the issues, asked the right questions and gave me, what I thought at the time, and also think now, excellent advice. Based on that first consultation, I hired her to negotiate my severance terms with my former employer. As large companies are wont to do, they did there best to drag this out for quite a while. Alix gave me the right advice, we stuck it out, and came to a more reasonable severance. If you have employment or employer issues, Alix will give you good advice, and if you choose, fight the good fight. I suspect if she was my former company's lawyer, I might not have done as well. If you need more than a competent lawyer, someone who listens to your situation and gives straight advice, As far as I am concerned, you are in the right place. Experienced, competent, and tenacious. Just what you need.
