Reviews

  • Mediation was scheduled as neither parent could come to an agreement surrounding the agreement set in place. This was a paid service and one considered with great consideration. Our hope was to receive a neutral party that would hear both sides & help truly aid in navigating an already difficult situation. Nancy entered the room stating 'what a shame it was that neither parent could come to an agreement after so long' - this was prior to either side being heard, reasonings being discussed, or details being reviewed and it was very clear a bias had been formed & this would not be a successful session as Nancy was not neutral in her opinions nor voicing them. Nancy continued to interrupt, dismiss differing perspectives, and snack throughout the session as if the very expensive & important matters surrounding a child on the table were intrusive to her lunch break. In reading prior reviews, there was a mixed bag however, due to timing, we wanted to give their office a fair chance & only wish that was afforded to our case equally. Nancy's tactics were to instigate & perpetuate, not end the debate & come to an agreement. It was explained that Nancy was a formal attorney which was a point of interest & merit in our research as we felt this would truly be a no non-sense session and one with intention of resolve. However, Nancy seemed to go back & forth showing interest in the gossip and he said/she said, instead of focusing in on the task at hand & reasoning for being there. I personally felt I had to speak up & over to be heard & redirect her into understanding this is not a parent vs parent case, this is how to get two parents to come to terms of agreement... Unfortunately, I cannot say this office is neutral nor professional and would recommend comment review & really understanding your needs and finding a true mediator to neutralize things for you and share an honest perspective that is in the best interest of agreement, not parent shaming or guilt.
  • Although we had never met Ms. Weber before our mediation, she was suggested to us along with two other names. She lived up to her reputation as being knowledgeable but not pushy, professional, a good listener and communicator. I think she spent more time with me than my spouse, but pointed out risks as well as the benefits of peace. She led me to significant concessions but the right decisions. I’m glad we went through the process.
  • Opposing counsel and I used Nancy Weber as Mediator in one of our cases that frankly, I thought would never settle. Fortunately I was wrong. This was largely in part to Nancy Weber's professional, no nonsense approach and experience in family law cases. Our clients saved a lot of money from having to go to trial and can now move on with their lives. Thanks Nancy.
  • Please DO NOT use NANCY WEBER as a mediator in your child custody case, especially if you are not from Orange County, Fl. Nancy is rude, aggressive,, arrogant and condescending. Nancy is not fair and overpriced. Nancy is just looking to get paid. DO NOT USE NANCY. To be able to post you have to gave a ONE Star. NO Star for NANCY.
  • Let me begin by saying Lee Sasser is a VERY NICE MAN! I choose Lee because he had a "child first" approach. After my GP did an in-depth analysis of top Central Florida family law practitioners, and I talked directly with 4, I retained Mr. Sasser. My (soon to be) ex-wife choose an aggressive, prepared and capable attorney. My experience left me with the impression, Mr. Sasser was more interested in propagating his impartial/ mediator practice than advocating for my custodial and post marital rights. If you're looking for a nice man who seems to be a capable mediator, Mr. Sasser is a wonderful choice. I wish someone had written a review for Mr. Sasser before I had to decide on hiring an aggressive, prepared and capable advocate for me and my son. Having to change council midstream is difficult, time consuming and very expensive!

The primary service highlighted in the available reviews for Sasser & Weber, P.A. is mediation. Mediation is a process where a neutral third party helps disputing parties reach a mutually agreeable resolution. One review details a negative experience with a mediator named Nancy, citing concerns about a lack of neutrality, interruptions, dismissal of perspectives, and unprofessional behavior during a paid mediation session concerning a child agreement. This review suggests that experiences with the firm's mediation services can vary significantly, and potential clients should carefully consider these perspectives.

This client described Ms. Weber as knowledgeable, not pushy, professional, a good listener, and a good communicator. The review indicates that Ms. Weber spent time understanding the client's perspective, pointed out both risks and benefits, and guided the client towards making significant but ultimately right decisions. This positive feedback suggests that the firm may have mediators with different approaches or that client experiences can be highly dependent on the specific mediator involved and the dynamics of the case.

A key feature that emerges from the reviews is the presence of experienced mediators within the firm. The mention of Nancy as a "formal attorney" in one review suggests a legal background that might be seen as a benefit for understanding complex legal frameworks in mediation.
