Based on available online reviews, client experiences with Brady Family Law, P.A., particularly concerning attorney Lorraine De Young, appear to be varied. One client reported a positive experience, specifically mentioning Ms. De Young's knowledge and helpfulness in facilitating a prenuptial agreement. This client described the process as smooth and timely, expressing a high level of satisfaction and recommending her services.

However, other reviews present significant concerns regarding the approach and sensitivity demonstrated by at least one attorney at the practice. One individual stated they did not hire the attorney due to what they perceived as a purely transactional mentality, expressing discomfort with applying a "cut and paste" approach to matters concerning their children's care and safety.

More critically, another review strongly advises individuals who have experienced abuse to avoid this practice. This reviewer recounts direct quotes attributed to Lorraine De Young that they found insensitive and unhelpful. These quotes include statements such as "You chose that father to your kids," "the judge listens to the same story all day long," "if you think you’re going to get vindicated, you won’t," and "the judge sees it as you are the problem and once you are removed from the equation then his behavior will stop." The reviewer expressed feeling that their experience of abuse was downplayed and that they were, in fact, accused of being the problem, despite having shared limited details of their situation during a consultation.

This negative feedback further elaborates on the reviewer's distress at the perceived belittling of their abuse, with comments like "it happens everyday" and "he only abused you and your oldest son." The reviewer concluded by strongly recommending others to seek legal assistance elsewhere, citing a lack of professionalism and insensitivity towards victims of abuse. They also expressed disappointment that another woman in a professional role would exhibit such a demeanor.

It is important for potential clients to consider all available feedback when selecting a legal representative, especially in sensitive areas like family law where empathy and understanding are paramount. The contrasting experiences shared in these reviews highlight the importance of individual fit and the specific approach taken by different attorneys within a practice. While one client found Lorraine De Young knowledgeable and helpful in a prenuptial agreement matter, others experienced significant dissatisfaction with her handling of sensitive issues related to child safety and abuse.

Given the information available, Brady Family Law, P.A. is a family law practice located in Orlando, Florida. They can be contacted via phone at the provided numbers. The services offered appear to encompass a range of family law matters. I did not hire this attorney because she has a mentality that it’s a business transaction. My Children’s care and safety is not a business transaction that is cut and paste for every family. If you have been abused do not use this lady. She will not know how to handle you nor your case. Skip this practice. She is insensitive to abuse. direct quotes from Lorraine De young “You chose that father to your kids” and “the judge listens to the same story all day long”; “if you think you’re going to get vindicated, you won’t” “the judge sees it as you are the problem and once you are removed from the equation then his behavior will stop” I was not worried about getting vindicated. I am trying to Protect my kids from an abuser and you downplayed my abuse since it “happens everyday” and “he only abused you and your oldest son”. Save yourself the time and money. Go somewhere else. I didn’t even finish the full 30 min consult. To your response when someone belittles your abuse and makes it seem like it’s just another day in court, that makes me upset. Especially from another woman. You didn’t give me any advice that was worth listening to. You don’t know how to navigate people who have been abused and are still being abused. You accused me of being the problem. When I didn’t even tell you details of my situation. I barely said anything to you about my situation. You were not professional at all. I hope no other abused victims find you.

Lorraine De Young is an excellent attorney who is extremely client focused and well versed in Florida child support law. I would highly recommend her and the Brady Family Law firm should one need assistance. She is very responsive and helpful and the price was great. She is personable and follows through on her commitments. She's also an excellent writer. She will take your call and you won't have to play phone tag with her. Very responsive attorney who loves to help whereas others may not be so inclined. Highly recommend her and the Brady Family Law firm. I have previously worked with other attorneys and her work is far superior. Thank you Lorraine. Regards, Eric Paschall

My divorce and Emergency Spousal support injunction was filed Jan 2022 and nothing else happened. When I would ask about my case Lorraine would ask for money or chastise me for owing 2k still. I had paid half the fee and was under the impression that the remaining would be taken from my settlement or I would pay as soon as she got me monthly support None of this happened. My husband has drained 100k from our IRA and CD and draws on a state pension plus SS. I am on Social Security Disability I am still married. I am still trying to live on 1300 a month and Brady Law firm dumped in as a client Dec 2022 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Brady Law firm took 2k from me to file my divorce and then did nothing else but let my husband spend our retirement savings and not sell our house
