Romano Law, situated at 13765 NW Cornell Rd # 250 in Portland, Oregon, operates within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, offering legal services to the local community. When selecting a legal representative, understanding the experiences of previous clients can be invaluable. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Romano Law based on the available online reviews, highlighting both positive and negative feedback to offer a balanced perspective for prospective clients.

Information regarding the specific environment of Romano Law's office is not detailed in the provided reviews. However, their location in Portland suggests a professional setting where clients can discuss their legal matters. The presence of a suite number (Suite 250) indicates they are likely part of a professional building, which typically offers a standard business environment suitable for legal consultations. While the ambiance of the office can contribute to client comfort, the reviews focus more on the service and fees associated with Romano Law.

The specific legal services offered by Romano Law are not fully elucidated in the provided reviews. However, one review mentions an inquiry about "custody modification," indicating that family law is at least one area of their practice. Custody modification cases involve legal changes to existing court orders regarding the care and control of children. This suggests that Romano Law handles family law matters, which may also include divorce, child support, parenting plans, and other related issues. The positive review mentions working with Mr. Romano, Amy, and Sierra, implying a team approach to case handling within the firm. Prospective clients with legal needs beyond custody modification should contact Romano Law directly to inquire about their expertise in other areas of law.

The available reviews present contrasting perspectives on Romano Law. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with the firm's consultation fee policy. This individual sought basic information about availability and average retainer fees for a custody modification but was informed of a $360 consultation fee required even to determine if Mr. Romano was available to take the case. The reviewer labeled this policy a "scam," indicating a negative perception of the firm's initial client engagement process and fee structure for preliminary inquiries. This policy could be a point of consideration for prospective clients who may prefer to gather basic information without incurring an upfront cost.

In contrast, the second reviewer shared a "great experience" with Romano Law. This client specifically enjoyed working with Mr. Romano, Amy, and Sierra, noting that everyone involved felt "very genuine and cared for the case." This positive feedback highlights a client's satisfaction with the level of personal attention and care provided by the legal team. The reviewer concluded by stating they "would absolutely recommend" Romano Law, indicating a positive overall experience and confidence in the firm's services.

A key feature highlighted in the positive review is the sense of genuineness and care exhibited by Mr. Romano, Amy, and Sierra. This suggests a client-focused approach where the legal team is perceived as being invested in the well-being of their clients and the outcome of their cases. This can be a significant factor for individuals seeking legal representation who value a personal and supportive attorney-client relationship. The mention of multiple individuals within the firm working on the case also suggests a collaborative and potentially comprehensive approach to legal matters.

The contrasting reviews present a nuanced picture for potential clients. The requirement of a consultation fee even for basic availability inquiries could be seen as a potential barrier for some, while others may find the level of care and genuineness experienced during their representation to be worth the cost. It is important for prospective clients to be aware of the consultation fee policy and to weigh this against the positive feedback regarding the quality of service provided once engaged with the firm.

Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the text beyond the implicit promotion of the positive review. The willingness of a client to recommend Romano Law suggests a level of satisfaction that could attract new clients. However, the negative feedback regarding the consultation fee policy might deter some individuals who prefer more transparent initial information without upfront costs. Romano Law's promotional strategy, if any, beyond providing good service to their clients, is not evident from the given information.

For local users in Portland, Oregon, considering Romano Law for their legal needs, it is essential to be aware of their consultation fee policy, as highlighted in one of the reviews. If you are seeking basic information about availability and retainer fees, you may be required to pay a $360 consultation fee. However, another client reported a "great experience" with the firm, praising the genuineness and care provided by Mr. Romano, Amy, and Sierra, and recommending their services. Depending on your priorities and preferences regarding initial consultations and the importance of a perceived caring approach, Romano Law may be a suitable option.

Tried to get some basic info about availability and average retainer for a custody modification but was told I would have to pay a $360 CONSULTATION FEE to even find out if Mr. Romano was available to take my case. What a scam.

Mr. Romano took the time to help me over the phone with my court case through the pandemic of the COVID-19. It’s nice to know that there are attorneys out there who are as knowledgeable about rights of others and fairness in parental matters.I would strongly recommend Mr. Romano.
