Really 4.5 stars. Through 4 years (all while I was overseas) of estate discovery, filings, depositions, delays and litigation, I am very appreciative that I had Regina (and her firm) as my advocates through a very stressful and frustrating process. I think Regina knows the law backwards and forwards, is very personable and I always appreciated her steadfast manner, experience & beliefs about how the system really works. We locked horns occasionally as I can be idealistic while she probably saved me a couple of more years of litigation and a good chunk of money.

When a family member passed away, it was discovered that one account had never been transferred into the trust that had been established. It was a small-ish account, but not small enough to avoid full probate. I began working on this with the help of an attorney who had helped me with an estate decades earlier. Unfortunately, he became ill and over a period of months became more and more incapacitated, to the point that I needed to seek other counsel. I called a few NYC estate attorneys and after my initial call with Regina at RK Law, she retrieved the case file from the surrogate’s courthouse (her office is about a 15 minute walk to the court), she reviewed it, and when we next talked she clearly pointed out the tasks that needed to be corrected in order to bring the probate handling back on track. From the immediate action taken and follow-up conversation, I realized Regina was a high-energy, sharp attorney who truly knows her stuff and has no problem jumping right in - even if an estate has issues, as in this particular situation. It turned out to be a long, long process, but Regina, Dan, her great staff … we all hung in there and recently wrapped this up, to my great relief. I’m very happy I went with my gut feeling choosing RK Law. They are competent, ethical, their communication is straight-forward, and they get it done. I highly recommend this firm to anyone needing estate work.

After ten years of litigation handled by three different lawyers, my family's complex Probate and Accounting issues were effectively, efficiently and finally resolved by the fourth lawyer, Regina Kiperman and her firm. Her thorough knowledge of Estate law prevented a terrible injustice from being approved by the Court. My brothers and I are eternally grateful. I only wish we had found Regina while my mother was still alive. I wholeheartedly recommend RK Law. Thank you, Regina.

Regina and her team took on our NYC estate probate, which was complicated by 6 of the 7 beneficiaries being UK based, one also being a charity, a will drawn up in the 1980's and all during the covid pandemic. Letters were received in record time, assets were identified and marshalled, taxes paid, property sold (a Coop apartment, a whole separate story...) and all beneficiaries received their due inheritances in a timely fashion. As Regina's co-administrator for the estate as well as being one of the beneficiaries, I can vouch first hand for her and the team's professionalism, dedication and hard work, as well as patience with some difficult beneficiaries. RK Law are highly recommended.

Regina Kiperman is the attorney handling the accounting of my late father's estate, which has been handled poorly by the two co-administrators. For her first court appearance regarding the accounting of the estate, she came to court dressed unprofessionally (Birkenstocks and what appeared to be capri pants). Also, Ms. Kiperman is unorganized, does not adhere to deadlines and becomes very, very emotional and kvetches when things don't go her way. An example of this is Ms. Kiperman emailing the court mediator an email accusing me of harassing her because she was unhappy with reviews written about her. Evidence of Ms. Kiperman's unprofessional and emotionally driven emails are attached as images. I have redacted her email address, the name and email address of the court mediator and my full email address. However, these emails have not been edited and appear as they were sent by both myself and Regina Kiperman. Lastly, Ms. Kiperman refuses to disclose the current balance of my late father's estate account though I have asked since late 2024. I find her to be incapable of separating her business affairs from her personal feelings.
