Reel Fathers Rights APC Introduce

For individuals in Long Beach navigating the complexities of family law, particularly concerning fathers' rights, Reel Fathers Rights APC, located at 111 W Ocean Blvd, offers legal services. Situated in a prominent area of downtown Long Beach, this office is positioned within a multi-story building, likely offering a professional environment for client consultations and legal proceedings. The downtown location provides accessibility for clients residing in Long Beach and surrounding areas who are searching for legal representation under the "Nearby Lawyers" platform.

The physical environment of 111 W Ocean Blvd typically includes modern office amenities expected of a professional legal practice. Clients can likely expect private meeting rooms for confidential discussions, administrative support services, and the resources necessary for case management. The high-rise nature of the building suggests a bustling professional atmosphere, common for law offices located in central business districts.

Reel Fathers Rights APC, as the name suggests, specializes in representing fathers in various aspects of family law. This focused area of practice typically includes, but is not limited to:

Child Custody: Assisting fathers in establishing, modifying, and enforcing custody arrangements to ensure their involvement in their children's lives.

Child Support: Representing fathers in the determination and modification of child support obligations.

Divorce: Guiding fathers through the legal processes of divorce, including property division, alimony, and other related issues.

Paternity Actions: Helping fathers establish legal paternity.

Visitation Rights: Ensuring fathers have consistent and meaningful visitation with their children.

Given their specific focus on fathers' rights, the firm likely possesses a deep understanding of the legal nuances and common challenges faced by fathers in family law proceedings in California.

Features that are typically associated with law firms specializing in fathers' rights might include a strong advocacy for the paternal role in children's lives, a thorough understanding of relevant California family law codes, and experience in negotiating and litigating on behalf of fathers. Firms in this area often emphasize the importance of fathers' involvement in their children's upbringing and strive to achieve equitable outcomes in legal proceedings.

However, it is crucial for potential clients to consider recent feedback from individuals who have engaged the services of Reel Fathers Rights APC. Multiple reviews indicate significant concerns regarding the firm's billing practices, communication, and the continuity of legal representation. These reviews highlight the following potential issues:

Unexpected and High Charges: Clients reported being charged substantial amounts for seemingly minimal work, including initial phone calls and emails, even before formal legal representation was fully established with signed agreements and record retrieval.

Lack of Transparency in Billing: There are claims of a lack of clarity regarding how retainer fees were utilized and what specific services were billed.

Attorney Departure: One review mentions the lead attorney on their case leaving the firm shortly after an initial strategy call, raising concerns about continuity of service and the value received for fees paid.

Rapid Depletion of Retainer Fees: Feedback suggests that the firm may quickly exhaust retainer funds without providing commensurate legal work or achieving desired outcomes.

Concerns about Client Care: Some reviewers express disappointment in the level of service received after the initial engagement, suggesting a potential disconnect between initial impressions and the reality of ongoing representation.

Given this feedback, while Reel Fathers Rights APC positions itself as an advocate for fathers, potential clients should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before retaining their services. It is advisable to have a detailed discussion about billing practices, fee structures, and the firm's approach to client communication and case management. Understanding the firm's policies on attorney transitions and ensuring transparency in all financial dealings is also crucial.

Promotional information is not explicitly provided beyond the firm's name and specialization. However, the negative reviews act as a significant counterpoint that local users should consider. While the firm's focus on fathers' rights might be appealing to a specific demographic, the reported experiences of past clients raise serious concerns about the value and quality of services provided.

For local users in Long Beach seeking legal assistance for fathers' rights issues and browsing the "Nearby Lawyers" platform, Reel Fathers Rights APC is a listed option. However, the publicly available recent reviews contain serious allegations regarding billing practices and client service. Potential clients are strongly advised to thoroughly research and consider this feedback, ask detailed questions about fees and procedures during any initial consultation, and potentially seek second opinions from other family law attorneys in the Long Beach area before making a decision. Ensuring transparency and a clear understanding of the terms of engagement is paramount when choosing legal representation.

Please go else where. They charged us a whole lot of nothing. The attorney in charge of our case left the firm after the strategy phone call. They charged us close to 1k for that phone call, emails, and the "work" our legal team had to do. Keep in mind, they didn't have our records yet cause we had to sign for them to be our official lawyers. We paid 5,000 for the retainer fee and got back 4,987. We don't know what they charged either. Please do your research because they will milk that 5k retainer. They did a great job in reeling us in. Making sure we felt we were in good hands, but in reality they were reaching for our pockets.

0 Stars, Absolutely Terrible Reel Fathers, Reel fathers in with their misleading name to take advantage of the emotions at play in child custody cases. I called hoping for help in my situation, hoping their name had something to stand on which I found out the hard way, that it does NOT. Everything seemed normal, until I started talking to the lawyer over the phone. I noticed him filling the call with information that had no relevance and repeating himself with that same information, to which I asked, "Am I paying for every minute of this phone call?", to which he replied, "Yes, you are." Shortly after I get a phone call from the billing department with my new invoice of $1100, which changed to $1800 after I told them I would like to cancel everything. Mind you, all that has been done to this point was a phone call to give them the retainer, a 3 minute phone call to take my information down, and the phone call with the lawyer that lasted 30 minutes. There's more, but this is long enough to give a gist of how it is to conduct business with Reel Fathers Rights APC. A mistake is a lesson learned. Thank you.

I wish I could give 0 ZERO STARS! Absolutely avoid & save your money! Thy should have told me to not mess with my case from the second I explained myself. But nope, they wanted my money asap and then their finance lady calls like a telemarketer to demand (not ask) to add more money to my account, and when I push back she threatened to remove them from representing me. I even explained this to their lady who was a care specialist and nothing changed. Then to top it off my lawyer drug his feet for over 6 months with my appeal and then acted surprised when I finally spoke to him, after they closed my case without talking to me. Avoid like the plague! So at the end, I got screwed over in court as my lawyer was not prepared, and then they just ghosted me for months, I should have used the dissomaster myself before contacting any lawyer, would have saved me so much.

Attorney never filed my response, they were basically MIA after the retainer was filed. Took a major loss because counsel thought they could schmooze their way through it. Avoid.
