I needed help with a document for the court registry. I called Reed law and spoke with Tyler about my issue. He asked if I could come right down I said yes. When I arrived at the office I thought I was there to discuss by issue further. Unbelievable, Tyler had the document I needed ready and gave It to me at no charge. Honestly I couldn't believe it. Most wonderful experience he was so nice. I will recommend Reed law anytime anyone ask and I will return in the event I need a attorney.

BEWARE Of This Attorney Mr. William Reed handled my bankruptcy in 2014/2015, I paid for, zero balance. Case was reopened & closed again. I paid for, zero balance. No invoice sent to me to show otherwise. In 2019, a friend of mine met with Reed to discuss a 2nd bankruptcy for me due to my health, this was a "free consultation", which included pulling of credit report. My friend paid $2,000 for a 2nd bankruptcy and nothing else. I have been very ill the past 2 years and could not proceed at that time. When I contacted Reed on 2-25-21, I requested a refund & stated when my health allowed we could start fresh. Reed replied back to me that he has a no refund policy, and he used the $2,000 to pull credit reports and emailed me information templates, (which is part of the FREE CONSULTATION), and proceeded to state that there was a previous balanced from 2015. He did not give me the dollar amount. WRONG! All money was paid in full. Reed also stated "The fact that you chose not to file two years ago is not my fault". He kept the $2,000 that my friend paid and then offered me a 50% discount for resuming the bankruptcy. In my opinion, Reed has stolen money from my friend. I asked Reed to please email me an invoice showing the previous balance (which was paid for at time of service), his reply "I do not make it a habit to produce historical invoices". I was shocked, I have never experienced a business to REFUSE an invoice to a client, shocked of his unprofessional attitude, shocked at the way he treats returning clients. Reed will reply to this review as he "provided substantial legal advice and did legal work for you for which I was paid". He will also reply "Of course, it would be wonderful if I could provide free money and services to the public". He was paid for a 2nd bankruptcy in full; so I don't understand where he gets "free money" from. He was paid for a 2nd bankruptcy which was put on hold due to my heath. HE DID NOTHING, NO LEGAL ADVISE & NO LEGAL WORK. He took my friends money and charged me $2,000 to pull credit report & email templates, which is part of the free consultation. When I advised him that I would let my family & friends know of how drastically my experience changed with Reed from the first experience; because I had referred several people to him & my second time as a client was AWFUL. Reed then accused me of EXTORTION. He basically stole my friends money and did not use it for which it was attended for. All of this due to putting 2nd bankruptcy on hold due to health issues, requesting a refund, and requesting an invoice. You would think that a business man should have the technology to send an invoice to a client. All I can say is WOW. Reed should be ashamed of his behavior. I should have read the many reviews for hiring this unprofessional attorney for a second time…reviews state how he stole money from them as well and his arrogant attitude and unprofessional conduct. Beware of this attorney.

To say I was disappointed when using this firm is an understatement. To make a very long story short, I paid for bankruptcy representation and filing on September 14, 2018. Due to being "busy," at their office (as they told me later) it wasn't filed until January 18, 2019. My calls and emails were regularly ignored; companies were not included in the petition (I sent an updated list as often as new notices came in) and quite frankly Will was a rude and pompous while demeaning my intelligence of the process (remember, I'm not a lawyer, so I paid for one). I can hands down say I would NOT recommend Will Reed as a lawyer or decent human, unless you can make him a significant amount of money ... then he might give you the time of day. The best part is, I guarantee he'll respond to this (or a review on Facebook) with all the things I did wrong. It's his MO when you read reviews on different sites. But, my biggest wrongdoing is expecting that a lawyer would provide appropriate legal guidance.

The Reed law firm took my case pertaining to probate. The case itself took a while. But the whole process with communication, paperwork, court was smooth. I could not have asked for a better law firm to handle this difficult situation. If I ever come across and need a lawyer again I know where I will be returning to.

I referred my daughter to Mr. Reed for her bankruptcy because of his previous work for myself on two other occasions. My daughter just had her creditor's meeting today. Went fantastic! Thank you Will and Shelley.

About Reed Law Firm
Welcome to Reed Law Firm, located at 310 Almond St, Clermont, FL 34711, USA. As a part of the Nearby Lawyers category, Reed Law Firm provides legal services to the Clermont community. Based on available customer reviews, experiences with the firm appear to vary significantly, with some clients reporting positive interactions and others expressing serious concerns.
One customer shared a remarkably positive experience, detailing how they contacted Reed Law Firm, specifically speaking with Tyler, for assistance with a court registry document. According to this review, Tyler promptly invited the customer to the office and, to their surprise, had the required document ready, providing it at no charge. The customer was deeply appreciative of this unexpected generosity and the kindness shown, stating they would highly recommend Reed Law Firm and would return for future legal needs.
In stark contrast, another detailed review presents a highly negative experience with Mr. William Reed concerning bankruptcy services. This customer initially hired Mr. Reed for a bankruptcy case in 2014/2015, which they state was paid in full and closed. The case was later reopened and closed again, with the customer affirming that all fees were settled. Subsequently, in 2019, a friend of the customer paid $2,000 for a second bankruptcy filing intended for the same individual, following a free consultation that included a credit report pull.
Due to health issues, the second bankruptcy did not proceed immediately. When the customer contacted Mr. Reed in February 2021 to request a refund, suggesting a fresh start when their health improved, they were informed of a no-refund policy. Mr. Reed reportedly stated that the $2,000 was used for pulling credit reports and emailing information templates—actions the customer points out were part of the free consultation. Furthermore, Mr. Reed allegedly claimed a previous outstanding balance from 2015, which the customer disputes as having been paid in full. The customer states that Mr. Reed did not provide the specific amount of this alleged balance and refused to produce a historical invoice.
The reviewer expresses the opinion that Mr. Reed effectively kept the $2,000 paid by their friend and then offered a 50% discount to resume the bankruptcy. The customer feels that Mr. Reed "stole money" from their friend by not using the payment for its intended purpose when the service was put on hold due to health reasons, especially since they believe the initial actions (credit report, templates) fell under the free consultation. The refusal to provide an invoice for the alleged past balance and the overall handling of the situation led the customer to express shock and deem Mr. Reed's attitude and treatment of a returning client as highly unprofessional. The reviewer also mentions that Mr. Reed might respond by stating he provided substantial legal advice and work for the fees paid, a claim the reviewer disputes, asserting that no legal advice or work was provided for the second bankruptcy payment.
The negative review concludes with a warning to others, suggesting that their experience aligns with other reviews indicating similar issues of alleged mishandling of funds, arrogant attitude, and unprofessional conduct. The reviewer regrets not having read more reviews before considering hiring Mr. Reed for a second time.
Our Environment: Conflicting Accounts
