Luke and Casey (Pick Law) along with Andrew Thompson (San Diego Elder Law & Advocacy, a 501c3 nonprofit law firm) helped me obtain a perfectly acceptable settlement on behalf of my deceased mother whose foot was broken when staff members at a board and care facility transferred her from a wheelchair to her bed. Furthermore, the initial injury led to bed sores on Mom's backside and a deep tissue injury on her heel due to the position she was in day after day with a cast on her foot. My mother ultimately died 3 weeks after I transferred her to a different facility when the board & care shut down. We filed a Personal Injury lawsuit and after Mom died, we filed a Wrongful Death lawsuit against the facility, the administrator and the owner.
