Based on publicly accessible information, including online reviews, an objective overview of the New York Center For Law & Justice can be provided.
Regarding the environment, the physical location of the New York Center For Law & Justice at 2095 Broadway places it in a prominent and accessible part of New York City. Broadway is a major thoroughfare, indicative of a professional setting that is generally well-connected by public transportation, making it convenient for clients to visit. Typically, law offices in such urban locations strive to maintain a professional and confidential atmosphere, designed to facilitate sensitive legal discussions. While specific details about the interior decor or waiting areas are not widely publicized, the expectation for a law office in this area would be a functional and private space conducive to legal consultations.
The core offering of any entity within the "Nearby Lawyers" category is legal service. While the specific specializations or areas of law practiced by the New York Center For Law & Justice are not explicitly detailed in the provided information, law centers of this nature typically offer a range of legal assistance. This could encompass various fields such as family law, landlord-tenant disputes, civil litigation, consumer rights, or even broader community legal aid. The context of one review mentioning an eviction issue suggests that landlord-tenant law or housing advocacy might be an area they are involved in. Lawyers and legal centers generally provide services that include legal advice, representation in court, drafting legal documents, and negotiating on behalf of their clients.
Features of a legal service provider can often be inferred from client experiences. In an ideal scenario, a law firm would distinguish itself through its professionalism, ethical conduct, client-focused approach, and successful outcomes. Lawyers aim to be approachable, clear communicators, and diligent advocates for their clients' rights. Furthermore, a commitment to understanding and accommodating diverse client needs, including those with disabilities, is a critical feature of any ethical legal practice. The ability to provide effective legal counsel and representation, navigate complex legal systems, and maintain strong client relationships are all fundamental features that clients seek in a legal service provider.
Promotional information for legal services typically highlights a firm's experience, successful cases, client testimonials (often positive ones), and perhaps its commitment to justice or community service. However, for the New York Center For Law & Justice, the publicly available customer reviews present a different narrative. These reviews, while anecdotal and representing individual experiences, offer a crucial perspective. One review describes the service as "unacceptable," citing "poor attitudes, unprofessionalism, and disregard for deaf culture and accommodations." The reviewer specifically mentions facing eviction without an interpreter and notes that "employee videos demonstrate a lack of understanding of deaf individuals' needs," characterizing it as "Discrimination." This individual explicitly states, "Not recommended for deaf individuals seeking assistance. Zero the Stars!!!!!".
Another review echoes concerns about professionalism, labeling the place as "Horrible" and the lawyers as "CORRUPT LAWYERS AS CAN BE SHADY TO." This review also names an individual, Dylan Lee, and alleges brutality and a lack of accountability within the legal system, stating "LAWYER'S CAN'T INVESTIGATE LAWYER'S THEY'RE CORRUPT." The reviewer further asserts a lack of "ethics" from the lawyers and describes the "BAR ASSOCIATION IS CORRUPT TO SLEAZY ORGANIZATION." These strong negative sentiments suggest significant concerns regarding the ethical practices, professional conduct, and client treatment at the New York Center For Law & Justice, according to these specific clients. It is important to note that these are client perspectives and do not represent a definitive judgment from an independent legal or regulatory body. However, such feedback is vital for potential clients to consider when evaluating legal service providers. Law firms typically strive for positive client testimonials, and the presence of such strongly negative public feedback is a significant aspect to be aware of.
In summary, the New York Center For Law & Justice is a legal service provider located in a central part of New York City, aiming to serve local users. While the precise scope of its legal services is not detailed, the expectation for a firm in the "Nearby Lawyers" category would be to offer general legal assistance. However, publicly available client reviews indicate serious concerns regarding professionalism, attitudes, and the firm's approach to client accommodation, particularly concerning individuals who are deaf. These reviews highlight potential issues with ethical conduct and responsiveness to client needs. Prospective clients are encouraged to consider all available information, including both geographical convenience and client feedback, when making decisions about legal representation.

The lawyers' service is unacceptable. Poor attitudes, unprofessionalism, and disregard for deaf culture and accommodations are evident. They are rude and use Jewish holidays as an excuse. I don't support this business. Without an interpreter, I'm facing eviction, and employee videos demonstrate a lack of understanding of deaf individuals' needs. That is Discrimination, which the lawyers fail to comprehend. Not recommended for deaf individuals seeking assistance. Zero the Stars!!!!!
