My encounter with Mr. Moldof was a true blessing from the moment I met him. I was already serving a 30 year prison sentence for a low-level nonviolent offence. After years of incarceration and numerous filings and litigation with the Florida courts I finally received the answer I fought long and hard for. From a prison law library I filed a Rule 3.850 Motion for Post-Conviction Relief. The court granted me a hearing on the motion which is very uncommon. Mr. Moldof took over my case for the purpose of the evidentiary hearing. Once he read my motion he immediately recognized the error. He convinced the State Attorney that I was entitled to relief. Rather than risk loosing at an evidentiary hearing the State agreed to a modification of sentence which led to my ultimate release. Today I am free and living a very fulfilling life. Thousands of prisoner’s throughout this country file postconviction motions much like the one I did. Unfortunately, less than 2% ever get the relief they are seeking. I am convinced that no other attorney could have gotten the same result for me that Mr. Moldof did. The odds are too overwhelming. The State unjustly took my right to ever live free again and Mr. Moldolf convinced them to give it back. This man is a real lawyer. If your life and freedom is on the line there is no attorney better equipped to represent you. Every day that I live free I have Mr. Moldoff to thank. Thank you Hillard.
