Mayersohn Law Group Introduce

For individuals in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area seeking legal representation, the Mayersohn Law Group, situated at 500 E Broward Blvd suite 1580, presents itself as a local legal service provider within the "Nearby Lawyers" category. Located in a commercial building in downtown Fort Lauderdale, the firm likely operates in a professional environment suitable for client consultations and legal proceedings. The suite number suggests a multi-office setting, potentially housing multiple attorneys and support staff. While specific details about the office ambiance are not provided online, its location in a business hub indicates accessibility for clients residing or working in and around Fort Lauderdale.

The services offered by the Mayersohn Law Group appear to encompass family law, specifically divorce, and potentially other areas of legal practice. One detailed positive review highlights the firm's handling of an "unfortunate divorce" case, praising the support, understanding, and compassion shown by the team. The review specifically mentions Leah Mayersohn ESQ for her initial positive and uplifting approach, as well as the lead divorce attorney, Denise Gentile, for her thoroughness and compassion. This suggests that divorce and related family law matters are a significant part of the firm's practice. However, another review raises concerns regarding contract agreements and the handling of retainers in cases with minimal work completed, implying potential involvement in contract-related disputes or general legal agreements where retainers are standard practice. Therefore, while divorce and family law are clearly services offered, the firm may also handle other legal matters involving contracts and agreements. Local users searching within the "Nearby Lawyers" category for divorce assistance will find the Mayersohn Law Group relevant, while those with contract-related issues should be aware of the mixed feedback.

Features of the Mayersohn Law Group, as gleaned from the customer reviews, present a dichotomy. On one hand, the positive review emphasizes the firm's supportive, understanding, and compassionate approach to divorce cases. The team is described as thorough, responsive, and genuinely caring, with specific mentions of the lead attorney's compassion and the paralegal's efficiency. The firm is also praised for finalizing a divorce within a reasonable timeframe, suggesting efficiency in case management. This positive feedback indicates a client-focused approach in family law matters, where emotional support and clear communication are prioritized alongside legal expertise. On the other hand, the negative review highlights concerns about the firm's handling of contracts and retainers, suggesting a potentially rigid adherence to contractual terms that may not always align with a client's perception of fairness or ethical customer service. The refusal to negotiate a refund of a significant retainer after minimal work was done raises questions about flexibility and client-centric practices in certain situations. This contrasting feedback suggests that the firm's features may vary depending on the specific legal service being provided and the individual circumstances of the case.

The positive review serves as strong promotional information for the Mayersohn Law Group's handling of divorce cases. The client's detailed account of the positive and uplifting initial consultation, the thorough and compassionate lead attorney, and the supportive team all paint a favorable picture for individuals facing the challenging process of divorce. The mention of the firm prioritizing the client's well-being over pure profit motive is a significant selling point in an industry where cost concerns are often paramount. This testimonial effectively promotes the Mayersohn Law Group as a caring and professional choice for divorce representation in the Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale areas. Conversely, the negative review acts as a cautionary note, particularly for potential clients entering into retainer agreements or seeking assistance with contract-related matters. It highlights the importance of carefully reviewing all paperwork and understanding the firm's policies regarding fees and refunds before committing to their services.

For local users in Fort Lauderdale seeking "Nearby Lawyers," the Mayersohn Law Group offers a physical presence and a team that has received high praise for their handling of divorce cases. The positive review from a Palm Beach resident who found exceptional service after negative experiences with other high-priced attorneys suggests that the Mayersohn Law Group offers value and a supportive environment for family law clients. The mention of clear communication, emotional support, and efficient case resolution are key benefits highlighted in this testimonial. However, the negative review regarding contract inflexibility and retainer refunds should prompt potential clients to exercise due diligence, especially when engaging the firm for services outside of divorce or when signing any financial agreements. It underscores the importance of clear and comprehensive communication regarding fees and the terms of engagement from the outset.

The address at 500 E Broward Blvd suite 1580 in Fort Lauderdale places the Mayersohn Law Group in a central and accessible location for many local residents. The phone number, (954) 765-1900, provides a direct means of contact for individuals seeking to inquire about their services or schedule a consultation. Given the mixed feedback, potential clients may find it beneficial to have an initial consultation to discuss their specific legal needs and assess whether the firm's approach aligns with their expectations, particularly regarding fees, contracts, and communication practices. Asking detailed questions about retainer policies and ensuring a clear understanding of the terms of engagement would be prudent, especially in light of the negative experience reported.

In conclusion, the Mayersohn Law Group in Fort Lauderdale offers legal services, with a notable emphasis and positive client feedback regarding their handling of divorce cases. The team is described as supportive, compassionate, and thorough in their approach to family law. However, a contrasting review raises concerns about the firm's inflexibility regarding contract terms and retainer refunds. Local users searching for "Nearby Lawyers" should weigh these differing perspectives. Those seeking divorce representation may find the positive testimonial compelling, while individuals with contract-related issues should be cautious and ensure clear communication and understanding of all agreements before engaging the firm. Direct contact via phone or an initial consultation is recommended to assess whether the Mayersohn Law Group is the right fit for individual legal needs and to clarify any concerns regarding fees and contractual obligations.

Be careful on signing any paperwork regarding retention or utilization of their services. A few minutes and a change of circumstances can cost a customer thousands. To no surprise, they refer to contract agreements that benefit them, rather than a moral or ethical approach to customer service. Understandably, contracts should be honored but when they complete 15 minutes of work and then turn around and refuse to refund a retainer of thousands of dollars, it calls this practice’s ethics into question. They refuse to negotiate a fair resolution either. They may be a legally sound practice. Ethically…. Well, this is why lawyers have the reputation that they do. Great job Mayersohn Law group on keeping stereotypes alive for Lawyers. 1 star. Would not recommend unless you want to be treated as a commodity rather than a customer.

I would like to take this time and share the details of my unfortunate divorce. I’m a PALM BEACH resident that went through the unfortunate experience of separating from my wife of 17 years. My first response was to go to high price attorneys in Palm Beach. After experiencing two consultations Which cost me $2000 for two hours worth of their time with two different firms they put the fear of God in me. Completely rattled I took a step back and went online and found Mayersohn LAW GROUP. Within the hour, Leah Mayersohn ESQ had returned my call, listened to my story was completely positive and uplifting from the very beginning. Leah assured me that the team she would assemble for me will do everything they can to get me through this process as painlessly with minimal amount of cost and take me through this process from the moment I signed up to the day the divorce was finalized. My lead divorce attorney, DENISE GENTILE Was not only thorough in her work, everything from paperwork to returning phone calls to telling me the breath deeply when I became overwhelmed at times more often than not the compassion was real and undeniable the team consisted of Deborah Gordash, Who was my paralegal. JOHN who uploaded thousands of documents for me Lulu who schedule appointments and took care of our Zoom calls, conference calls , to much to mention. The bottom line is, I can’t say enough about the firm. They were supportive, understanding, compassionate, and finalize my divorce within months. In this day and age it’s rare to fine a company as professional as the Mayersohn Law Group where profits aren’t the bottom line.

I was calling lawyers for four days before I called Mayersohn. I spoke to Lu and not only did he get my information, but he went the extra step of reaching out to one of the lawyers to make an appointment for today! Thank you Lu for your phenomenal customer service! 😊

Avoid this company. We hired this attorney for a legal matter. She charged more than others and kept sending invoices while doing almost nothing. She failed to file her appearance with the court — which she was legally required to do after signing the agreement. She also inflated the hours worked and billed us for services that were never provided — we have proof. We are currently taking legal action against her. Highly unprofessional. Not recommended.

Leah is fantastic. She knows criminal law inside and out and fights for her clients. She also is great at making sure you know exactly what is going on with your case. I highly recommend her in south Florida for criminal cases.
