Before my son went off to college and before he turned 18 years old, we hired Loretta Morris Williams to prepare durable powers of attorney and medical powers of attorney for him to sign. A lot of parents don’t realize that they can’t get information about their children – from school or medical providers – without authorization once their child is 18 years old. We wanted to be sure if anything happened to our son that physicians and/or the school would be able to speak with us and inform us about what was going on. Loretta Morris Williams was a great help in explaining things to him and to us. This is very important information to know about and we were very grateful for her assistance and support.
Ms. Morris’ outstanding professional skills and competence are complemented with a confident, reassuring demeanor. Clearly she is respected and trusted by her colleagues and the legal community of Fairfax. As our estate attorney for over a decade Ms. Morris organized a very “untidy” situation, creating a Trust which resolves many problems and avoids future ones. I enthusiastically recommend her to anyone needing family estate guidance!
Loretta prepared a will and accompanying documents for my husband and me after the birth of our first son. Loretta is knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, and very professional. We are extremely happy with her services and will continue to seek her professional advice in the future.
