Law Office of Grace White Introduce

Welcome to our "Nearby Lawyers" platform category. Today, we introduce the Law Office of Grace White, a legal practice located at 21700 Oxnard St # 1140, Woodland Hills, CA 91367, USA. While based in Woodland Hills, California, the contrasting experiences shared in the client reviews offer a nuanced perspective for anyone seeking legal representation, particularly in family law and general legal matters, even if you are currently in Japan and looking for guidance on what to consider when choosing a lawyer.

The Law Office of Grace White, led by attorney Grace White, appears to handle family law cases, specifically divorce, and also provides services for general legal matters based on one of the client reviews. It's important to note that the provided reviews offer differing perspectives on Ms. White's representation. One review, from an individual whose husband was involved in a case where Ms. White represented the opposing party (the mother of his children), is highly critical, alleging a lack of sound legal advice and ultimately a loss for her client. Conversely, another review from a direct client expresses significant satisfaction, praising Ms. White's efficiency in handling their divorce, her ability to secure a good settlement with reasonable fees, her honesty in explaining risks and outcomes, and her responsiveness to phone calls. This client also mentions trusting Ms. White to handle all their legal matters and refers others to her, indicating a positive overall experience. When seeking legal assistance, it is crucial to consider multiple perspectives and assess the specific needs of your case against the lawyer's demonstrated strengths and weaknesses.

Based on the conflicting client reviews, it's challenging to definitively describe the typical environment of the Law Office of Grace White. The positive review suggests an environment characterized by efficiency, reasonable cost, honesty, and responsiveness. The client felt comfortable enough to entrust all their legal matters to Ms. White and recommend her to others. This implies a level of trust and satisfaction with the office's professionalism and client care. However, the negative review paints a picture of ineffective representation, at least from the opposing party's viewpoint. It's possible that different clients experience the firm's environment and service in varying ways, depending on the specifics of their case and their interactions with Ms. White. When considering a lawyer, it may be beneficial to inquire about their communication style, case management procedures, and overall approach to client representation during an initial consultation.

The services offered by the Law Office of Grace White, as indicated by the customer reviews, include:

  • Divorce proceedings, where she is described as efficient and capable of securing good settlements.
  • Providing legal advice and explaining potential risks and outcomes to clients.
  • Handling general legal matters, suggesting a broader scope beyond just divorce.
The contrasting outcomes and opinions in the reviews highlight the importance of considering the specific area of law relevant to your needs. While one client found her effective in divorce, the opposing party in a different family law matter had a negative experience. Therefore, if you are seeking assistance with divorce or general legal matters, it would be prudent to focus on the positive feedback regarding her efficiency, settlement skills, and handling of her own client's case. For other areas of law, or if your family law matter is similar to the one described negatively, further research and potentially seeking additional reviews or consultations with other attorneys might be advisable.

Several key features of the Law Office of Grace White emerge from the client testimonials, though they present a mixed picture. On the positive side, Ms. White is described as:

  • Efficient in handling divorce cases.
  • Capable of achieving very good settlements for her clients.
  • Charging reasonable fees.
  • Honest in explaining risks and possible outcomes.
  • Responsive to phone calls, typically returning them by the end of the day or the next business day.
  • Trustworthy, as evidenced by a client entrusting all their legal matters to her and recommending her to others.
However, the negative review portrays her as:
  • Providing unsound legal advice.
  • Allowing clients to pursue actions that could lead to losing their case.
  • Ultimately losing the case for her client in a child-related family law matter.
This duality underscores the importance of considering the context of each review and potentially seeking further information to form a comprehensive understanding of Ms. White's strengths and weaknesses. The promotional aspect is somewhat complex due to the conflicting feedback; however, the positive review strongly recommends her based on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, honesty, and responsiveness.

The client reviews offer a complex promotional picture for the Law Office of Grace White. The positive review implicitly promotes the firm by highlighting efficiency, good settlements, reasonable fees, honesty, and responsiveness. The client's trust and willingness to refer others serve as a strong endorsement. However, the negative review serves as a cautionary note, particularly for individuals involved in contentious family law matters where the other party is represented by Ms. White. For potential clients considering her for divorce or general legal matters, the positive aspects of her service, such as efficiency and reasonable fees, may be appealing. It would be wise to weigh these factors against the potential concerns raised in the negative review and perhaps seek a consultation to discuss your specific situation and assess if her approach aligns with your needs and expectations.

This attorney represented the other party in my husband's case for over a year. I recommend Grace White if you need an attorney that doesn't actually give you ANY sound legal advice and then allows you to just do whatever you tell her to do, even if it will cause you to lose your case, just like she lost the case for her client, who happens to be the mother of my husband's children. Luckily for us, Grace White is horrible at her job and everything that was ordered by the court was completely in OUR favor and not in her clients! BLESS!

Grace handled my divorce which she did efficiently, she got a very good settlement for us and her fees were very reasonable. She is very good at explaining what your risks are and possible outcomes. She is very honest. I was pleasantly surprised to see that she would return my phone calls by the end of the day or the next business day the most. I trust her so much that now she handles all my legal matters and I refer to her everybody that wants a lawyer recommendation. Definitely a good lawyer.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAWYER! No communication, very unprofessional and honestly if it’s a family law case you’re better off doing it yourself or with a public defender than having her take your money. I was recommended her by my mother’s friend but, never again will I listen to her again I lost $500 cause of this. She had my custody/visitation case delayed 2 times! Once due to her “personal health” issues which I wasn’t told anything about until the day of court. I had really no reason to delay my case and wasn’t sure she was even going to show since she said nothing to me so it cost me 4 months, and the other time for choosing to REMOVE herself from my case and then blaming ME for it saying I didn’t want to pay her and offending her telling her she’s a bad lawyer. I just had my court date and it was DELAYED again because of how horribly she filled out my documents and forms she did do and I had to clear up all the mistakes, accusations, and miscommunication today. Don’t trust this lawyer and be very wary of what lawyer you do choose. If they can’t even answer a call or text after 3 weeks they’re not worth the money.

Worst lawyer. No communication. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Didn't do anything for our case and the documents she did fill out were all wrong which delayed the case AGAIN. My boyfriend ended up having to fix all the errors she made on the documents and will now be representing himself for the next court hearing. The first delay was due to her absence because of her personal health issues, which she did not bother notifying my boyfriend until the day of the court date. She decided to remove herself off the case once my boyfriend contacted her asking why he hasn't gotten any updates on the case. She was apparently "offended" that my boyfriend felt she wasn't doing anything, which she wasn't. Avoid this lawyer, she will end up hurting your case rather than help it.

Go to Grace White if you want a lawyer that you will never hear from again after paying your deposit. Also she made basic spelling mistakes on our forms. Anybody can call themselves a lawyer these days, I guess.
