However, specific details about the office's interior and client meeting spaces are not available through the provided information.
Based on the two contrasting customer reviews, Kravis, Graham, & Zucker LLP appears to handle different types of legal cases. One review highlights positive experiences with attorney Bruce Zucker in a post-incarceration legal matter, specifically dealing with probation-related issues. This suggests that the firm may offer services in areas such as criminal law, particularly concerning issues arising after incarceration. The positive review also indicates experience with navigating the court system and working towards specific legal goals, such as winning a motion related to probation.
Conversely, the second review presents a highly negative experience, specifically naming attorneys Ian Graham and Kravis. This review alleges issues related to a Writ of Habeas Corpus, claiming that agreed-upon services were not rendered, funds were misappropriated, and communication was misleading. This account raises serious concerns about certain aspects of the firm's client management and service delivery in this particular instance.
Considering the limited information and the conflicting nature of the reviews, it is challenging to definitively outline all the specific legal services offered by Kravis, Graham, & Zucker LLP. However, based on the available feedback, potential areas of practice might include:
- Post-Incarceration Legal Matters: Assisting with probation issues and other legal concerns arising after imprisonment.
- Criminal Law: Representing individuals in criminal cases, potentially including appeals and post-conviction relief.
- Writ of Habeas Corpus: Handling legal procedures to challenge unlawful detention (though one review expresses dissatisfaction with services in this area).

The features of Kravis, Graham, & Zucker LLP, as perceived through the lens of the provided reviews, present a mixed picture. The positive review of Bruce Zucker emphasizes his extensive knowledge, patience, understanding, accessibility, and professionalism. He is described as a "straight shooter" who provides honest advice and works diligently towards the client's desired outcome. His ability to navigate the complexities of the legal system and achieve a successful resolution in a post-incarceration matter is also highlighted.
In stark contrast, the negative review portrays Ian Graham and Kravis as dishonest and failing to deliver on promised services. The allegations include not reading court transcripts, misusing funds intended for a specific legal action (Writ of Habeas Corpus), and refusing to refund the down payment. This account raises serious concerns about the firm's billing practices, communication, and commitment to client agreements in this particular case.
Given the significant discrepancy in the client experiences, it is difficult to ascertain definitive features of the firm as a whole. Potential clients should be aware of these conflicting reports and exercise caution when considering engaging Kravis, Graham, & Zucker LLP for their legal needs. It would be prudent to ask detailed questions about the attorney who would be handling their case, their specific experience in the relevant area of law, and the firm's billing practices.
No specific promotional information is provided in the reviews. Local users contacting Kravis, Graham, & Zucker LLP through the "Nearby Lawyers" platform may wish to inquire about initial consultation fees, the firm's approach to client communication, and the experience and track record of the specific attorney they would be working with. Due to the conflicting feedback, it is particularly important for potential clients to conduct thorough due diligence and seek clear and transparent information before making a decision.
For local users in Santa Monica seeking legal assistance, the presence of Kravis, Graham, & Zucker LLP on the "Nearby Lawyers" platform indicates their availability within the community. However, the drastically different experiences reported by the two reviewers necessitate careful consideration. While one client found Bruce Zucker to be knowledgeable and effective in a post-incarceration matter, another reported significant issues with Ian Graham and Kravis regarding a Writ of Habeas Corpus. Potential clients should weigh these accounts and conduct their own thorough investigation before engaging this firm.
In conclusion, Kravis, Graham, & Zucker LLP, located in Santa Monica, California, offers legal services that may include post-incarceration assistance and handling of writs such as Habeas Corpus. However, the firm has received significantly contrasting reviews regarding their service quality and client management. While one client praised Bruce Zucker for his knowledge and dedication, another expressed serious dissatisfaction with Ian Graham and Kravis. We were looking for an attorney to help a family member with a post-incarceration legal matter. Having no idea where to start, we called Bruce Zucker, among others, in hopes to find a lawyer who we could trust and would offer some hope in dealing with some probation-related issues. Thankfully, and to much our relief, Mr Zucker turned out to be a great fit for us. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable of what needed to be done, who to involve, and how to proceed (due to his years of experience), he was also very patience and understanding with our concerns and fears. He not only answered every question of ours throughout the many months, but he listened and offered honest encouragement when it was needed. To be clear, he was always a “straight shooter“ and gave his best advice in moments where we had to decide how to proceed. However, he understood our situation and worked hard to offer us as much hope as possible. Ultimately, Mr Zucker was professional, accessible, and knew how best to go about accomplishing our goal. While it took a few months longer than we anticipated, due to the nature of the courts and their slow pace, we successfully won our motion and could not have been happier and more relieved. If you are in a situation involving any type of post-incarceration issue and are not sure who to call, my family would recommend Mr Zucker wholeheartedly. We are thankful we chose him to work with for those 7 months when we could have ended up with someone who was not as invested in our desired outcome. My family is grateful for his help.
Graham and Kravis are two lying attorney's. I didn't meet their other partner Zucker so I can not say much about Mr. Zucker. Graham is a liar for taking money that he was suppose to apply toward a future motion / Writ he said his office would handle but when it came time to respresent my son in a Writ of Habeas Corpus he said he did not have time and that the money I put as a down payment was used in the reading of the court transcripts. In which he never read them, I have proof that he and Kravis did not read the court reporter transcripts due to not knowing certain facts that I had asked both of them about. I did get 20 minute conference call but for $5000.00 these two did nothing they promised they were going to do. Period. 1. They said they would read the transcripts and an AOB, Appellant Opening Brief (they did not Read, because I had certain questions regarding some facts in which they should have known but gave me the wrong info, the info they found by watching online videos or read media outlet info, in which was outdated) 2. Ian said he would apply the money toward the Writ of Habeas Corpus once my son had exhausted all his options (Ian said he was too busy and will not do the Writ, not now and not 6 months down the road, also said he would not be refunding any money) 3. I thought about turning this over to a personal bill collector, a few people come to mind, like MS13 and other gangs who actually have business services but I did not want to seem like a bully or threat so I will seek legal action at the local courthouse. However, I would trust the gangsters over these two attorneys, they actually stole $5k from me and think their off the hook, Not, they will pay, the judge will make them do so, if not then I can always take a week off work and picket their office and embarrass them in front of other tennants and clients, if they have any. ***See my profile for other reviews that have reached 75,000 + views in just a short few weeks.
I am the owner of a multi-million-dollar company that does business throughout the country. We unfortunately encountered an issue with another business that had the potential to unfairly damage our reputation and ability to conduct business. I'm happy to report, however, that Randy Kravis was single-handedly able to fully resolve the issue for us. Throughout our working relationship, I was very impressed with his level of professionalism, communication, honesty, and dedication. I could not recommend his services enough.
Ian Graham is an unethical attorney and a deceiver. After having to agree on reading court trial transcripts and an appellate brief regarding a Direct Appeal, in which to get this Law firm's Opinion on the content and the grading of the brief that another Law Firm had prepared. We were in total disbelief when we noticed that the information that they were telling us on a follow up conference call was inaccurate, there was no doubt they didn't read the transcripts and just obviously looked though news articles from the internet and the media outlets that would have record of this case, because it was old information that they were referring to from the 1st Court Jury Trial and not the 2nd Court Jury Trial in which we had given them the transcripts to and they were to use the transcripts themselves and not online media or news information, just the transcripts and the Appellate Opening Brief documentation. When I called and asked for representation regarding a Writ of Habeas Corpus, Ian Graham had told me that he does not have time to take this case, he is busy for the next 6 months, and / or his email had mentioned this info. Being extremely upset at Ian Graham since he was the one who agreed to accept the $5000.00 fee to look over the 2nd Trial Transcripts and the AOB, as well as having the $5000.00 being applied toward the Writ of Habeas Corpus, which was estimated at $20,000 to $25,000. So I considered it a no brainer in hiring this firm to handle any post conviction relief that was possible for our loved one who had been wrongfully charged, convicted and sentenced. Ian Graham said consider it has a down payment toward future services and that is exactly the way I seen this service offered. I personally went down either that day or the following day and handed Ian Graham $5000 cash, he accepted and given me an invoice and I drove all the way back to Orange County from his office in Santa Monica. I felt really good about my decision, only to find out weeks later that they didn't do what they had promised. Totally missing the mark regarding various subjects that they should have known in reading the Transcripts, basic info but they referenced the old info from the internet, thus proving they were not honest and very rude on top of it when questioned about there research. Months go by and the appeal was affirmed, which means not good for us or our loved one. The first thing I did was contact Ian via email to let him know that the Direct Appeal was affirmed as well as all State Post Conviction Relief was exhausted and asked when can they get started on the Writ of Habeas Corpus, the last effort to free a convict who is imprisoned. I was so upset after reading Ian Graham's email, in which he had said he was busy for the next 6 months and not being able to take the case. I was just robbed by an unethical attorney, who obviously had no intentions on taking the case or else he would have read the transcripts and did what was agreed upon. I told him I would never of given him $5000 to just read a transcript and give his opinion when all other attorney's that I contacted were willing to do it for $1000 and that would not apply toward future services. Now I know how this Ian Graham is going to respond, and I would put it on this review but I will give him the benefit of the doubt, since I am an honest person, giving an exact honest review. I will state this however, no matter his response I will for certain post the outcome of a lawsuit that I will file against this firm, win or lose. Understand that a judge will have a hard time ruling in my favor as they hate to rule against their own profession, as I seen and researched the California Bar website and they let these attorney's get away with some really unethical behavior, it is a shame that this profession have some of the most dishonest people when they are suppose to be the exact opposite.
Ian and Bruce worked with me on a complicated case for a family member of mine. They were always generous with their time, caring and explained all of the complicated details to me with great patience. I am forever grateful to have had their brilliant minds on my case.
