Save yourself time and money going here. When I first went it was wonderful. Automatically they said they could help. I left nothing out. Once our second TPO court came Mr.David acted surprised that I didn'ttell him certainthings. (first one was cancelled last minute because the lawyer respresenting my absent laywer wasnnot ready. And yes, I had to pay for "her time"). I explained that everything was told. He said he would do what he could. Later recommended over and over that I leave to texas with my sister that it would be much easier. Mind you this is after him and his secretary MADE me sign a document accepting TPO AND VISITATION TERMS. Without my consent my case during 3 years was seen my 6 lawyers. SIX! All which got paid. Then SOME of the paralegals wouldn't submit the information. I had Mrs.Glenda act smart and say "if we don't do they job we don't charge you". I wanted the job to be done! It was the whole point of hiring them. I understand the county I was filing against made things harder but so did this firm. Then I go it to it again with Mrs. Glenda because allegedly she couldn't bully the newspaper into giving them a letter stating my ex had not made contact. Mind you I paid before they even published it. I told her how is this bullying them if I paid. She continues to state that they were not answering and she was having a hard time. (When I got my invoice I had already seen she only called 2 times and it was the two days I called her to remind her). I also told her how is it possible that they answered so fast to take a payment nd put it on the newspaper but now it's not possible. I was pretty much done with them by then. I asked to speak to someone else. Only to get an attitude if I didn't like the service they could cancel. Really! When I spent already 20k, when I am at the last stage now they come and acted mean. Then they changed my paralegal and lawyer. Both were great. What I needed since the start. I just feel like this firm could be more organized and not take cases they clearly dont can't do. It was just to much attorneys and paralegals involved. Only one good one did the job.

Word of advice. If the firm refuses to tell you or show you a breakdown of how much your case will be. Please look elsewhere. The first laywer I had here was absolutely great, we both were on the same page and game plan for my custody case and her price was right in my price rage for what I make. I'm not sure what happened with her but I wasn't notified for the laywer change and I was charged for them to get the new 2 laywers caught up on the case. That's when everything started going down hill. At the time I was only making 3500 a month but would receive a bill for over 4000.00 for that month and only 10 days. Their personal in the financial department a (Mr. Ryan) was of bo help to any of my questions. Then lied about not having a payment plan. ( i still have emails for reference.) I've also asked repeatedly just how much my case would cost all together to stop further late payments but again was met with a dead end, no help. Normally a laywers office could tell you between 5000.00 to 10,000 they refused to tell me anything. With ever invoice I got i started to notice some double charges from from what the first laywer did but the price was much higher. When it came down to the final court date the 2 laywers did absolutely nothing to help my case, all the evidence we had they didn't use they just set there and did nothing. Then charged me an additional 2500.00 for the hearing. In total after I pay them in full ill be 25,000.00 in a hole for zero representation/effort when the case mattered the most. If you love your kids and don't want them in harms way please, please, DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!! They only care about taking as much money as possible.

This firm has been nothing but a huge disappointment (and I'm not even talking about the high pay scale for each item involved!). For starters, no one returns my calls/emails on a consistent basis. I can't even tell you how many times my calls/emails were never returned. And even as I write this, my most recent attorney (Amy) has ghosted all my efforts to communicate over the last 3 months! I often had little clue where things stood w/ my case because of this unacceptable lack of communication. It also didn't help that my case was handed off twice after initial conversations w/ John two years ago. My case is almost wrapped up, but I can assure you that I will never use this firm again. If you're considering them, I would recommend that you keep looking. Read the 1 star reviews - the sentiment is consistent.

VERY VERY BAD SERVICE. This is the email I sent to them to ask them to discontinue my case "Hello, I am requesting that this case be discontinued. It does not look like it is going anywhere as you have been able to get the defendant served. I do not want to waste my money on the case when it is clear that you cannot help me. All my numerous conversations with personnel at your office have proved that if the defendant is not served, you cannot do anything, and it does look like we will not be able to serve her. Besides, personnel at your office are not most helpful and respectful. I have had numerous times that your personnel completely misunderstood me, did not respect me, or were not ready to help me. I have had some of your office personnel yell at me, or not happy with me because I was desperate and needed an answer. I am a client, and I believe I need support. As a pharmacist, when patients come to me frustrated and not in good spirits, I have to find a way to get them to calm down, and do anything I can to help them. I do not start yelling at them, say things they did not say, or twist their words against them. So far, I have not seen anything positive about the case. Besides, the child is no longer here in Atlanta, so I do not see the need to continue. The last time I called there to speak with Mr. Johnson, I had a certain man yell at me and disrespect me, and will not allow me to speak to Mr. Johnson as I requested. When I finally got to Mr. Johnson, he pretended not to know who this man was. Before this, on that same day, I had a secretary disrespect me because I was desperate and needed immediate advice. Preparing documents to serve the respondent always took very long to get them ready. I would ask Ms. Knowles, she would tell me the process servers are preparing the document. A week later, they were still not done. WHAT ARE THEY PREPARING? Unless I am completely wrong, I do not want such an attorney-client relationship. Thank you for your service. I will deal with the fallout from this." AND THEY NEVER RESPONDED TO ME. NOT AN EMAIL NOR A PHONE CALL. That showed how much they cared about me as a client. I never met an attorney in person, nobody ever called me to discuss anything. I always have to chase them for information, and they always unhappy with that.

Please do your research before hiring an attorney as we did not do enough of it prior to hiring this attorney!!! My husband hired this attorney in February 2023 and it's now March 2024 and absolutely NOTHING has been done. No communication whatsoever. No one answers phone calls or emails. Every time we are trying to reach out for updates on our case, we get an automatic email stating that the current paralegal working on our case no longer works for the company. This happened about 3-4 times! The only type of communication is from their billing department who needs to collect their $$. Now we are just left with an outstanding bill as we no longer need their useless service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! BEWARE

One client mentioned a lack of preparedness in court, the recommendation to relocate out of state, and frequent changes in legal personnel assigned to their case. This client also highlighted issues with paralegals not submitting information and difficulties in communication regarding administrative tasks, such as newspaper notifications. Furthermore, this client felt that the firm became less helpful as their case progressed, despite having paid a substantial amount.
Another client shared a negative experience involving unexpected lawyer changes, charges for the new lawyers to become familiar with the case, and a lack of transparency regarding the total cost of their legal proceedings. This client also reported receiving invoices exceeding their monthly income and alleged that the financial department was unhelpful and dishonest about payment plan options. Ultimately, this client felt that the firm provided inadequate representation during a crucial court hearing, despite the evidence presented, and incurred significant expenses as a result.
