We had an initial call with Tim, an estate attorney at Housman & Feind. He provided excellent advice regarding our necessary steps to close an estate and recommended that we not hire him as he provided all the information we needed in our initial call. It turned out to not be as complex of a process as we expected. We fully expected to need help from an attorney to close the estate. His helpfulness and honesty was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended.

They always made sure I understood the process, and my options. They are both extremely knowledgeable and creative in their work while also being able to show empathy to their clients during a challenging time.

I felt that they didn't advocate for me and took whatever was the easiest path for their workload and not what was in my best interest. I initially chose to work with Margaret Zickuhr, and they quickly handed me off to the new hire (only to ask my permission after the new hire was my only contact). I felt over-promised and unsupported, and my notes from that time continue to reflect this. If you are looking for a family lawyer, I'd suggest another firm.
