Jennie Campbell is highly qualified, exceptionally talented, and extremely knowledgeable. This was a somewhat lengthy matter. Jennie was honest, quick, responsive, thoughtful, deliberate, thorough, communicative and transparent in the resolution of my divorce She always represented what was in my best interest. She guided me through the process with compassion and honesty. She was always available to explain the process and she resolved a surprisingly challenging divorce. I cannot recommend her more!

tldr: Halleh and Jennie did an excellent job in my case - handling a difficult opposing counsel with ease and ultimately getting me a better outcome in court than I could have ever expected. My exwife and I decided to use a 3rd party divorce mediator to avoid the trouble of working of attorneys. At the time, we agreed that we wanted to get through the process in a positive way so we could continue having a relationship for our children. My assumption was that all attorneys thrived on conflict and would manufacture issues for their own personal gain. Unfortunately, this 3rd party mediator was unskilled and after several months of mediation, my exwife was convinced she was "being made a fool" and hired an attorney. I spoke with five different attorneys before hiring Halleh. While all had their plusses and minuses, I got the best sense that Halleh would approach my case from a positive manner and (hopefully) help me maintain any kind of goodwill with my exwife. Jennie Campbell was the associate attorney on my case and is very bright and creative. Together they are a stellar team. Unfortunately for all involved, my exwife hired a completely incompetent attorney. This attorney created issues where there were none, refused to work in a collaborate manner with Halleh, and completely ruined the relationship I had with my exwife. I was impressed with the professionalism Halleh displayed when working with the opposing counsel over a 10 month period, considering the complete lack of professionalism on the other side. In the end, we were forced to go in front of a judge to close out our case, which was entirely due to the opposing counsel. The result Halleh helped me get was BETTER ON EVERY FRONT compared to the deal I had agreed to with the mediator (better on business valuation, better on maintenance, better on kid stuff). I was consistently impressed with how she would remember small details about my case. There were a few times when I brought up something from months ago, and she could recall specifics. I simply cannot recommend Halleh and Jennie enough. While this was not my experience, I imagine Halleh would really shine if working with a competent attorney on the other side. She wants to take a collaborative approach and help families get through a difficult time in a positive manner (the opposite of what how I assumed all attorneys would act). And finally, one thing that stood out to me is how Halleh worked with her staff. I'm a business owner myself and I was continually impressed at how she would ask her team for their opinions, or defer to them if that was an area of expertise for them. That's the sign of a really good boss and it was quite clear that she has a great relationship with her team and they love working there.

As an attorney myself, but with no family law background, I wanted an attorney who not only knew this area of law inside and out, but also was responsive to my many questions and was truly invested in protecting my interests. A colleague highly recommended Halleh and I was extremely pleased throughout her entire representation. She and her team are true professionals, exceptionally knowledgeable, and always timely in responding to questions.

I paid over $60,000 in attorney fees to Ms. Lepman, only to be treated poorly and walk away with the exact same outcome I likely would have received without legal representation—a standard 50/50 custody and asset split. Throughout the process, Ms. Lepman repeatedly assured me that I had a strong chance of being awarded 70/30 custody of my children and several thousand dollars in attorney's fees. I relied on her guidance and prepared accordingly. But when we got to court, she had failed to ask me for critical business records related to my small business income—documents that were essential to presenting my case effectively. When questioned about the missing records on the stand, I answered honestly that my attorney had not requested them. After the hearing, rather than taking accountability, Ms. Lepman scolded me in the hallway, accusing me of “throwing her under the bus” and warning me that I could damage her career. It was shocking—especially on a day where my future and my children’s lives were being decided. I expected more—both professionally and ethically. If you are going through something as personal and life-altering as a divorce and custody case, I strongly urge you to find an attorney who is focused on your well-being, not just their own reputation. I cannot recommend Ms. Lepman based on my experience.

Sahar and her team were amazing to work with on my divorce case this last year. Sahar was incredibly prompt, professional and communicative throughout the entire divorce process. At our initial consultation it was evident that she had extensive knowledge in divorce law, which led to my decision in retaining her services, as opposed to several alternate law firms I had consulted with. She was extremely informative regarding what I was entitled to by Colorado law regarding my marital estate, retirement, and maintenance support. She made sure that I was well educated and understood what the state of Colorado determined as 50/50 related to my divorce case. She let me know that if I desired, she would fight for the maximum amount of maintenance support per month, and she would fight for far more of our shared marital estate. She also included a life insurance policy in the decree that ensured full payout to me in the event my ex partner passed away unexpectedly. She acquainted me with a Qualified Domestic Relations Orders attorney to handle the division of retirement assets between both parties, and remained present/accessible throughout that specific portion of my case as well.
