Based on the limited information available, including a review mentioning a probate issue and another praising a specific attorney, Anne Bederka, the firm likely offers services in key areas such as:

Probate and Estate Administration: The review detailing a negative initial interaction regarding a probate issue suggests that the firm handles matters related to the administration of estates after someone passes away. This can involve navigating complex legal procedures, asset distribution, and potential disputes among beneficiaries.

Estate Planning: Often closely related to probate, estate planning involves creating legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney to manage assets and healthcare decisions in the event of incapacity or death. It is reasonable to infer that a firm handling probate also offers estate planning services to help clients prepare for the future.

Litigation: The positive review highlighting Anne Bederka as a "top tier attorney" and "strategic thinker" implies that the firm has a litigation practice. Litigation involves representing clients in legal disputes before courts or administrative tribunals. This could encompass various areas of law, depending on the expertise of the attorneys within the firm.

The provided reviews offer a mixed perspective on the client experience at Greenfield Stein & Senior, LLP. One review details a highly negative initial interaction with an attorney named Harvey E Corn, alleging judgmental assumptions and poor communication regarding fees and the client's disability. This account raises concerns about the initial client intake process and the interpersonal skills of at least one attorney within the firm.

Conversely, the second review offers high praise for attorney Anne Bederka, describing her as "brilliant" and a "top tier attorney" who employs strategic thinking. This positive feedback suggests that the firm also has highly competent and well-regarded legal professionals. The stark contrast between these two reviews underscores the importance for potential clients to research specific attorneys within the firm to find the best fit for their needs.

The features of Greenfield Stein & Senior, LLP, based on the available information, include:

Potential Expertise in Probate and Estate Matters: The mention of a probate issue indicates that the firm handles these types of cases, which require sensitivity and a thorough understanding of the relevant laws and procedures.

Strong Litigation Capabilities (Specifically with Anne Bederka): The positive review of Anne Bederka suggests that the firm has skilled litigators capable of strategic thinking and achieving positive outcomes for their clients.

Established Presence in Midtown Manhattan: The firm's location on Third Avenue provides convenient access for clients in the area seeking legal representation.

On April 30, 2024 - Harvey E Corn wrote the following to me: "...and it sounds like you would be unable to give us a retainer or even pay one half our hourly rate for ongoing services." I contacted Harvey for a probate issue. There was absolutely no discussion regarding retainer, legal fees or finances. This was an introduction to my case, and what I needed assistance with. I did mention that I was disabled and found the turn-around times for response to be unreasonable for someone with my health status. And I felt that I had more-than-adequate legal rationale for needing more time to respond to the legal paperwork. I will leave it to you to opine on what kind of human being writes what Harvey did and immediately jumps to those assumptions. Apparently, all Harvey heard was "disabled" and immediately moved to judgement, and concern for his dollars and cents. This was absolutely disgusting. At the time I was forced to exit the workforce, I had private disability insurance that replaces 60% of my previous income, tax-free. Given I was at the highest tax bracket, it's essentially full income replacement (of a very comfortable salary). I am financially secure and have no problem paying legal fees-- which is why I was contacting attorneys for this case. Harvey, when your health fails you one day, I hope that someone treats you -- exactly as you just treated me, like a POS. Absolutely loathsome. - Christine
