Goldberg Barry Introduce
Welcome to the profile of Goldberg Barry, a legal practice situated at 55 Broad St in the Financial District of New York City. As a listing in the 'Nearby Lawyers' category, Goldberg Barry offers legal services to the local community. It is important for potential clients to consider the contrasting feedback available from individuals who have interacted with this practice to form a comprehensive understanding of the services offered and the client experience.
Located in the bustling Financial District, the office of Goldberg Barry is positioned within a central and accessible area of New York City. While specific details about the office environment are not provided, it is generally expected that a law firm in this district would maintain a professional setting for client consultations and legal proceedings. However, the available client reviews offer divergent opinions on the overall client experience and the firm's operational practices.
Based on the customer feedback, Goldberg Barry appears to have provided satisfactory legal support to some clients. One reviewer described him as "one of the best lawyers in nyc" and mentioned a long-standing professional relationship characterized by consistent support. This positive testimonial suggests that, for certain individuals, Goldberg Barry has delivered effective legal assistance and fostered a sense of trust and reliability over time. This client highly recommends his services for any case, indicating a broad range of potential legal matters handled by the practice.
However, another, more detailed review presents a significantly negative experience. This client, who was referred to Goldberg Barry by a friend, expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the services received. According to this review, an initial down payment of $1000 was made over three years prior to the review, against a requested $1500. The client alleges that during this period, Goldberg Barry took no action on their case, provided no updates or communication, and was consistently unavailable, either not being in the office or being too busy to respond to calls. This individual ultimately decided to seek alternative legal representation from a lawyer who would dedicate time and effort to their case.
The negative review further asserts that Goldberg Barry "only cares about money" and has "no interest in your case." The client strongly advises others to "stay away from this firm." This feedback raises serious concerns about the firm's client communication, case management, and overall commitment to providing active and diligent legal representation. Potential clients should carefully consider this perspective when evaluating whether to engage Goldberg Barry for their legal needs.
Given the limited and conflicting information from the two available reviews, it is challenging to definitively outline the specific services offered by Goldberg Barry. The positive review's broad recommendation ("highly recommend him on any case") suggests a general practice that may encompass various areas of law. However, without more specific details or a wider range of feedback, it is difficult to ascertain the firm's particular strengths or specializations. Potential areas of practice could include, but are not limited to:
- General Civil Litigation
- Personal Injury Law
- Business Law
- Real Estate Law
- Other areas based on the attorney's expertise and the cases he has handled.
Prospective clients should directly inquire about the firm's experience and expertise in the specific area of their legal need to ensure a suitable match.
In terms of features, the positive review highlights the lawyer as "one of the best" and emphasizes consistent support over years, suggesting reliability and a positive track record for at least one client. However, the negative review sharply contrasts this, alleging a lack of action, poor communication, and a primary focus on fees rather than client service. This discrepancy makes it difficult to identify reliable features of the practice. Potential clients will need to weigh these opposing viewpoints and conduct their own due diligence to assess the firm's characteristics.
Currently, there is no promotional information available for Goldberg Barry. The limited and conflicting client feedback does not provide a basis for identifying any unique selling points or promotional incentives offered by the firm. Therefore, individuals considering this lawyer should rely on their own direct interactions and inquiries to gather the necessary information to make an informed decision.
For local users in the Financial District and surrounding areas of New York City who are searching for a "Nearby Lawyer," the information available about Goldberg Barry presents a cautionary tale of potentially varied client experiences. While one client expresses strong satisfaction and long-term trust, another reports significant dissatisfaction with a lack of service and communication after paying a retainer. Potential clients should carefully consider both perspectives and conduct thorough due diligence, including a detailed initial consultation to discuss their case, the firm's approach, communication protocols, and fee arrangements, before deciding to engage Goldberg Barry for legal representation.
In conclusion, Goldberg Barry, located in the Financial District of New York City, has received both positive and strongly negative feedback from the limited client reviews available. While one client describes him as one of the best and praises his consistent support, another alleges a complete lack of service and poor communication after payment. Prospective clients should approach this firm with caution, carefully considering the reported experiences and conducting thorough due diligence to ensure their legal needs will be met with professionalism and diligence. It is recommended to have a detailed discussion about the handling of their case and the firm's communication practices before making a commitment.

One of the best lawyers in nyc. I ve been with him for years and i always got his support . I highly recommend him on any case .
The worst! He was recommended by my friend he assisted a long time ago, so I was optimistic he would help me too. He asked for $1500 down payment, but I was able to pay $1000, that was over 3 years ago. He did absolutely nothing, no update, no call, nothing! I had to call multiple times, he’s never at his office or too busy to respond. Anyway, I’ve decided to find a new lawyer that can really invest his time to assist me and find a solution to what I need. Please stay away from this firm, he only cares about money, he has no interest in your case.
This man came highly recommended, so I was fully prepared to pay him. From the beginning he said $1500 in which I paid up front thinking it would make be on top of our case considering how time sensitive it was but instead half of the time he wouldn’t pick up the phone then the rest of the he didn’t even know who my husband was. Until today I have no idea what my $1500 was use for because we’re still in the same place if not worst. Sad! I don’t recommend
Barry Goldberg I don’t recommend , literarily the worst lawyer Ive ever dealt with he took our money and didn’t do anything . He also blocked my number . HE IS THE WORST , I don’t recommend . DONT GO TO HIM !
I do not recommend it, he is disrespectful after collecting the money he blocks your call he does not answer, you have no interest in your case and he covers himself with religion
