The available information includes reviews from individuals who have interacted with Goldberg Attorneys. It's important to consider these reviews to gain an understanding of past client experiences. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with the firm's handling of their case, stating that they experienced delays over a period of two or more years, even though their case was described as small. This reviewer also noted instances of office staff blaming each other when contacted, which created an uncomfortable and concerning atmosphere. The client felt that their circumstances were not handled with the sensitivity expected from a legal professional and ultimately regretted remaining with the firm.
This same reviewer offered advice to others seeking legal representation, emphasizing the importance of thorough research, trusting one's instincts, and choosing a firm and individuals with a strong sense of trust and integrity. They cautioned against solely trusting that a professional is doing their job and highlighted the need to be discerning when selecting any service provider, particularly legal counsel, as the experience can significantly impact one's well-being, especially when dealing with injuries and health concerns.
Another reviewer indicated a generally positive sentiment towards Goldberg Attorneys but raised a specific concern regarding their Social Security benefits. This reviewer believed they should have qualified for both Social Security Insurance (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) but did not understand why this did not occur. Additionally, they inquired about potential Medicaid eligibility due to serious health issues, including blindness, diabetes, kidney failure, and congestive heart failure, suggesting a need for significant additional support that they felt was not adequately addressed. This review implies that while the client may have appreciated some aspects of the firm's service, there were unmet needs related to the comprehensive understanding and pursuit of all potential benefits.
These reviews provide a mixed perspective on the services offered by Goldberg Attorneys. While one client experienced considerable frustration with delays and internal office dynamics, another expressed a general positive feeling but pointed out a potential oversight in the handling of their Social Security and Medicaid claims. These experiences highlight the importance of clear communication, proactive case management, and a thorough understanding of a client's overall needs, including potential benefits beyond the immediate legal matter.
Potential clients considering Goldberg Attorneys should carefully weigh these experiences alongside their own specific legal needs. It is advisable to conduct thorough due diligence when selecting legal counsel, including seeking detailed information about the firm's areas of expertise, the experience of the attorneys handling their type of case, their communication practices, and their fee structure. Asking for references or seeking additional reviews from other sources, if available, can also provide a more comprehensive picture of the firm's reputation and client satisfaction.
The office environment, as inferred from the address, is a commercial suite within a building on 1st Avenue North in Birmingham. This suggests a standard professional setting. However, the reviews do not provide specific details about the ambiance or client interaction spaces within the office itself. Potential clients may wish to inquire about the consultation process and where meetings typically take place to get a better sense of the environment.
Given the feedback regarding delays and potential oversights in related benefits, prospective clients should prioritize clear and open communication with Goldberg Attorneys from the outset. It is important to establish expectations regarding timelines, the specific legal strategies to be employed, and any potential additional benefits or resources that may be relevant to their situation. A proactive approach to asking questions and ensuring a thorough understanding of the process can help mitigate some of the concerns raised in the reviews.
In conclusion, Goldberg Attorneys, led by Dan Goldberg, is a law firm located in Birmingham, Alabama. The available customer reviews present a mixed picture, with one client reporting significant issues with delays and internal office communication, while another expressed a general positive sentiment but raised concerns about the handling of Social Security and Medicaid matters. Potential clients should carefully consider these perspectives and conduct thorough research and direct communication with the firm to determine if their services align with their specific legal needs and expectations. Understanding the firm's areas of expertise and their approach to client service will be crucial in making an informed decision.

My experience was not what I expected. This office kept delaying me in every way for two or more years. My case was small. When I phoned their office each worker kept blaming the other worker. This was after I NEVER asked who is to blame. I was not phoning their office everyday, every week, or every month and my phone record proves that fact. I believe in stepping back and let the professionals work. Also, it was unclear if them blaming one another meant that there was conflict in the office. It was to the point that I felt uncomfortable, ashamed of my circumstances, and very hurt that I had remained at that firm. A lawyer should be on your team but.... .. I just didn't want to be bouncing from law office to law office. Friends and family asked me who is handling your case? I told them. The next question was why are they taking so long. My answer was the lawyer is in court. I have learned a lot through this experience. Make sure you do your homework before choosing any service person. Trust your instincts. Choose firms you can trust and people you can trust. Dont concern yourself with hurting their feelings. Don't just trust that they're doing their job. People will do anything. There are fair and decent people everywhere but you really have to search hard and long for those whom are fair and decent. If I would have chose correctly, my injuries and getting healthy would have been my only concern. It is not the best feeling when you're injured and worried. Don't be left holding the bag. Choose a lawyer wisely.
