I cannot recommend Jack Miller highly enough. His deep knowledge of the law, professionalism, and thoughtful advice have been invaluable in navigating my legal situation. He is incredibly generous with his time and insights, making sure I fully understand every option available. If you need a lawyer who is sharp, strategic, and truly cares about his clients, Jack is the one to call. Five stars all the way!

Paid for a consultation ($650), he agreed to represent me and that I had a valid claim. Asked for a retainer to be paid in advance. Months later when he finally began work, he asked me a few questions and decided he couldn't help me. Feels like a scam, seriously lacking legal knowledge and expertise on strategy. I had to spend thousands of dollars for him to determine he couldn't help me. Would give zero stars if I could, hope to find a competent lawyer this time around.

Many attorneys in and out of state referred Mr. Subit to me. Though I don't see many good reviews on Google/Yelp, I gave a shot, and I remorsed. I booked a one hour consultation with him, but he stopped our conversion in the middle with a lame excuse: "I've taken a lot of time reading ur material, if u keep asking I will charge u another $600." It's ok not taking my case, but end the meeting earlier than clearly written in the email, that's absolutely not acceptable. There's absolute NO ETHICS of you. And my case worked smoothly with other attorneys; YOU WERE WRONG!

Frank Freed Subit & Thomas LLP is distinguished by several significant features and highlights that underscore their prominence and effectiveness in employment law:
- Decades of Specialized Experience: Founded in 1981, the firm boasts over 40 years of practice exclusively in employment and labor law, providing unparalleled experience in the nuances and complexities of this field. Their attorneys collectively have over 175 years of combined experience representing employees.
- Proven Track Record of Results: The firm has a strong history of securing substantial judgments and settlements for their clients, including multi-million dollar class action settlements for wage and hour violations. This demonstrates their capability for aggressive and effective litigation.
- Strong Ethical and Value-Driven Approach: Their core mission is to "promote equality and fairness in the workplace," believing in a "level playing field for all employees." This commitment to justice and integrity is deeply embedded in their practice, as noted by clients and their own firm values.
- Highly Respected Attorneys: The firm and its attorneys have received high ratings from leading peer-review agencies, including an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, signifying the "highest level of professional excellence" as recognized by their peers and adversaries. Individual attorneys, like Jack Miller, receive strong endorsements for their "deep knowledge of the law, professionalism, and thoughtful advice."
- Comprehensive Employee Representation: They offer a full range of litigation, negotiation, and advising services for employees across various workplace disputes, from discrimination and harassment to wage claims and wrongful termination, including both individual cases and class actions.
- Dedicated Union Representation: Beyond individual employees, they provide robust legal support to labor unions, covering crucial areas like contract negotiations and grievance arbitrations, demonstrating their holistic approach to labor rights.
As a highly respected and specialized legal services firm, Frank Freed Subit & Thomas LLP, similar to most professional law firms, does not typically advertise "promotions" or "special offers" in a retail sense. Their value proposition is built upon their extensive experience, deep legal knowledge, and proven success in advocating for employee rights.
However, it is common practice in plaintiff-side employment law for firms to work on a contingency fee basis for certain types of cases. This means that clients may not need to pay upfront legal fees; instead, the attorney's fees are a percentage of the compensation recovered, if and when a successful outcome is achieved. This arrangement makes high-quality legal representation accessible to employees who might otherwise be unable to afford legal counsel. While one specific review highlights a negative experience with a consultation fee and subsequent decision regarding representation, prospective clients are always encouraged to have a direct and clear discussion with the firm during the initial consultation about their specific legal issue, potential fees, and the terms of engagement. Their commitment to delivering "the results you need in a cost-effective manner" underscores their dedication to providing value.
