It is advisable to inquire directly with the firm about their office environment if this is a significant factor in your decision-making process.
Based on the available client reviews, Feldman & Feldman appears to have experience in elder law planning. One client, writing about services received 20 years prior, specifically recommends Paul Feldman as "the best in the business" for elder law planning, indicating a history of providing services in this area. This suggests that elder law, which often involves estate planning, Medicaid planning, and addressing the legal needs of senior citizens, may be a key area of practice for the firm.
However, it is crucial to consider all available feedback to gain a balanced perspective. Another, more recent, review presents a contrasting experience. This client expresses dissatisfaction with what they perceived as a lack of forthrightness regarding consultation fees, stating that they were charged for a consultation despite an initial impression of a complimentary discussion. The review also mentions a billing practice of $200 for 30 minutes and an $80 "file review fee for a non-existent file." Furthermore, this client reports a lack of response to expressed displeasure via email, concluding with a negative recommendation of the firm’s business practices.
The significant difference in these two reviews, spanning a considerable time period, suggests that client experiences with Feldman & Feldman may vary. The positive review from two decades ago highlights potential expertise in elder law planning, while the more recent negative review raises concerns about consultation fees, billing practices, and client communication.
Given the limited information and the conflicting nature of the reviews, it is challenging to definitively outline the complete range of legal services offered by Feldman & Feldman. However, based on the positive review, elder law planning is likely an area of focus. Elder law often encompasses various aspects of estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. It may also involve issues related to long-term care, guardianship, and asset protection for seniors.
For local users in Jenkintown, PA, considering Feldman & Feldman for their legal needs, it is strongly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence. It is also essential to have a clear and explicit discussion about consultation fees, hourly rates, billing practices, and any other potential costs before engaging their services. Requesting information about their client communication protocols and file handling procedures may also be beneficial.
The negative review specifically mentions a consultation fee and billing practices, underscoring the importance of clarity and transparency regarding fees from the outset. Potential clients should ensure they have a written agreement outlining the scope of services and the associated costs to avoid any misunderstandings. Additionally, the reported lack of response to concerns raises questions about client communication, which is a vital aspect of the attorney-client relationship.
In conclusion, Feldman & Feldman, located in Jenkintown, PA, appears to have experience in elder law planning, as indicated by a long-standing positive review. However, a more recent review raises significant concerns regarding consultation fees, billing practices, and client communication. Local users considering Feldman & Feldman for their legal needs should carefully weigh these perspectives and conduct thorough due diligence, including a detailed discussion about fees, services, and communication protocols, before making a decision. Contacting the firm directly at (215) 887-5300 or +1 215-887-5300 for a comprehensive consultation and clarification of their practices is strongly advised.

20 years ago my family needed elder law planning. Paul Feldman is the best in the business and I'm glad my friend referred me to him.
Mr. Feldman was not forthright at all. He charges for consultations despite saying he will be happy to speak with you. All he wants is money. He bills you 200 for 30 minutes. Not to mention an 80 dollar file review fee for a non-existent file. Furthermore, when you email him, you hear nothing back when you express that you are displeased. It’s not good business. I would not recommend anyone to him.
Came highly recommended by a staff member working with my elderly grandmother, however my experience left me in tears. I felt like he was literally yelling at me & II am not an overly sensitive person, but geez man, we weren't in a court room, you weren't cross examining me on the witness stand! I came seeking assistance with obtaining guardianship over my 100 y/o grandmother. I didn't feel like he listened well. . . And honestly, at the end of the day, he MAY HAVE BEEN providing sound advice & the best suggestions, but his delivery was WAY to callous, LOUD, & insensitive. I'm not even sure why he had such an aggressive tone with me. For the most part I was listening & the ONE question I had. . . I dunno. We WERE supposed to have a video conference (I didn't get a link) & when he call me roughly 10 minutes after our scheduled time he sounded a little annoyed. Maybe that's what set his mood. If somehow that's my contribution to the treatment I received, I accept a small role that I guess I should have called him 1st? Informing him I didn't get the link HE was supposed to be sending? But we didn't establish a process; I didn't know when I would get the link (day of or what!). And finally, after essentially berating me relentlessly (for who knows what), he says, "Oh its so nice what your trying to do for your grandmother. You're a good person. . . Blah blah something " Oh NOW you wanna try & be NICE ??? I'm LITERALLY fighting tears Sir! KICK ROCKS & GOOD DAY!! (Totally different set of words in my mind, but I just politely thanked him for his time & we said goodbye. I doubt he was even aware of my feelings).
Paul Feldman could not have been nicer and more Compassionate during a very difficult time for our family . Gave us answers to our many questions in non lawyer jargon . We will absolutely consult with him for any future legal advise .
Freeman hand you over to the cops my husband paid 1500 and he did not fight the case for him he was all about money and very racist he didn't know who I was and start it talking bad about him while my husband was in the restroom he all about money. He got my husband 4 years of probation when clearly it should had nothing when it was no proof of the crime .
