Reviews

  • Lance Evans communication is non existent. If you plan on using Lance be aware your case will drag on forever and you are not a priority. I wish I could give 0 stars.
  • To be honest, I did like this law firm. However my experience was limited to Lance Evens and he is a very hard to reach individual. He owes me $1000 for services unrendered for over 15 years ago. When I can get a hold of him he promices the return of my payment . . . but continuously forgets. Over all I believe the firm is good but my suggestion is to recieve your services first then pay.
  • I took the recommendation to use Lance Evans from a someone who used Tim Evans. Man was that a mistake. Lance Evans is a impossible to get in touch with. Lance Evans lies and takes your money. Lance Evans should not be allowed to practice law. I can't speak for the rest of the lawyers at this firm but AVOID LANCE EVANS AT ALL COSTS!
  • Lance may charge a little more than most of the defense attorneys in Fort Worth but I assure you he's worth every dollar.
  • Lance Evans is awesome and I highly recommend using him

Features / Highlights

Evans, Daniel, Moore, Evans & Biggs is characterized by several significant features and highlights, emphasizing their commitment to criminal defense, though it's important to consider all available client feedback for a complete picture:

  • Experienced Criminal Defense Association: Founded in 1984 by Mark Daniel, this group of attorneys boasts many years of collective experience specifically in criminal defense. They have a long track record of helping clients with critical criminal defense issues in Fort Worth, Texas.
  • Board Certified Specialists: Several attorneys within the association, including Mark Daniel, Lance Evans, William Biggs, and Matt Smid, are board certified as specialists in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. This prestigious certification signifies extensive experience, rigorous testing, ongoing education, and a reputation for excellence among judges and peers.
  • Personalized Attention: Unlike larger firms that might operate a high-volume practice, this association prides itself on being selective with cases. This allows them to devote more time and personalized attention to each client, ensuring direct engagement with their chosen attorney from start to finish.
  • Extensive Courtroom Experience: The attorneys have practiced extensively in state and federal courts throughout Texas, giving them in-depth knowledge of various court systems and procedures.
  • Creative and Intelligent Defense Strategies: Their experience and specialization enable them to develop sophisticated and effective defense strategies for a wide range of criminal law cases.
  • Accessibility and Availability: The firm states they are available 24 hours per day and accept credit cards for convenience, indicating a commitment to client accessibility.

However, it is crucial to address the specific client reviews provided. One review highlights "non-existent" communication with Lance Evans, stating that cases "drag on forever" and clients are "not a priority," wishing for "0 stars." Another review, while generally liking the firm, specifically mentions Lance Evans as "very hard to reach" and that he "owes me $1000 for services unrendered for over 15 years ago," with continuous promises to return payment that are forgotten. This suggests a potential issue with communication and follow-through with a specific attorney within the association. While the firm's overall structure aims for personal attention, individual attorney performance and responsiveness can vary. Therefore, potential clients should directly address their expectations regarding communication and responsiveness during their initial consultation.
