Reviews

  • I did not use this business for attorney/legal practice, however I was in the area for the first time from urban Chicago and didn’t have any knowledge on Lake County Pace Buses. I went into this law office to ask if anyone had any information about the bus services outside their business. They could have simply told me no, or could have yelled at me for interfering with their jobs ect, but one individual took his time, walked outside with me and tried to talk with me about what/where I was trying to achieve/go, and while he didn’t know anything about the buses, he at least listened to my concerns and tried helping me. So again, I didn’t request legal services from them, but they were kind enough to take five minutes to try and help me. If I was looking for legal work/help, I would pick this location, even though it’s 2 hours away on public transportation.
  • Unfortunately my late father used this lawyer, possibly not aware how prejudiced he is. He was not only unprofessional but disrespectful and prejudiced, even referred to my family as "you people." Not sure why he thought we would work with someone who is prejudiced, especially since he's obviously not the only lawyer in Illinois. Thank God we were able to sort out what we needed to with another lawyer. Beware working with this person.
  • Michael Caravello has done an unbelievable job for my family. He literally defies every negative stereotype about Attorneys! The genuine way he cares about his clients goes above and beyond! He has visited my Father many times in the hospital, and even consulted with his doctor's. He is extremely well thought of in Lake County and Chicago. Let's forget character, THIS GUY'S A WINNER!!!!!

About Diambri & Caravello

For local users in Illinois seeking legal counsel within the "Nearby Lawyers" category, Diambri & Caravello is a law firm situated in Highwood. As with any service provider, potential clients often seek an understanding of the environment, services, and reputation of a legal practice before engagement. Based on publicly available information, including a mix of customer reviews, an objective overview of Diambri & Caravello can be presented.

Environment and Accessibility
Diambri & Caravello is located at 300 Green Bay Rd, Highwood, IL 60040, USA. Green Bay Road is a significant thoroughfare in the Highwood area, suggesting that the firm is situated in a location that is likely accessible to residents of Highwood and surrounding communities in Lake County, Illinois. Highwood is a small city within the greater Chicago metropolitan area, known for its vibrant downtown and proximity to Highland Park and Lake Forest. The address indicates a ground-level or easily accessible office within a commercial setting. The firm's direct phone number, (847) 433-2800, which also serves as their mobile contact, provides a straightforward means for clients to reach them for inquiries and appointments. The physical environment of a law office is typically designed to be professional and discreet, conducive to confidential legal discussions.

Comprehensive Services
Based on the limited public information and available reviews, specific, detailed core practice areas for Diambri & Caravello are not explicitly outlined. Law firms often specialize in various fields such as family law, real estate, personal injury, estate planning, corporate law, or general civil litigation. Without explicit details, it is difficult to elaborate on the specific types of legal services offered by Diambri & Caravello. However, the nature of a "Nearby Lawyers" category implies that they provide legal services to the general public within their local vicinity. The reviews, while not detailing legal services sought by the first reviewer, allude to the general need for legal help, suggesting that the firm, or at least its staff, is prepared to assist with a range of legal inquiries or direct individuals appropriately.

Distinguishing Features and Client Testimonials
The available customer reviews present a contrasting picture of Diambri & Caravello, highlighting different aspects of client interaction:

  • Positive Experience of General Helpfulness: One reviewer, who did not seek legal services, shared a remarkably positive experience regarding the helpfulness and kindness of an individual at the firm. This person describes approaching the office to ask for information about local bus services, a request entirely outside the scope of legal practice. Despite this, an individual from the firm "took his time, walked outside with me and tried to talk with me about what/where I was trying to achieve/go." The reviewer explicitly states, "They could have simply told me no, or could have yelled at me for interfering with their jobs ect, but one individual took his time, walked outside with me and tried to talk with me... he at least listened to my concerns and tried helping me." This account praises the individual's "kindness," willingness to "try and help," and states that if they were "looking for legal work/help, I would pick this location, even though it’s 2 hours away on public transportation." This review, while not about legal expertise, strongly suggests a firm that has at least one staff member who is willing to go above and beyond in terms of basic human courtesy and helpfulness, which can be a significant positive indicator of client service culture.
  • Negative Experience Regarding Professionalism and Alleged Prejudice: In stark contrast, another review raises very serious concerns. This reviewer states, "Unfortunately my late father used this lawyer, possibly not aware how prejudiced he is. He was not only unprofessional but disrespectful and prejudiced, even referred to my family as "you people." The reviewer further expresses dismay, asking, "Not sure why he thought we would work with someone who is prejudiced, especially since he's obviously not the only lawyer in Illinois. Thank God we were able to sort out what we needed to with another lawyer. Beware working with this person." This review presents extremely severe allegations of unprofessional conduct, disrespect, and prejudice, which, if accurate, would be deeply concerning for any legal practice and directly contradict the ethical obligations of attorneys. It casts a shadow over the firm's client interaction and reputation, particularly concerning issues of diversity and respectful treatment.

Given these conflicting public accounts, an objective introduction must present both perspectives. The first review highlights an instance of exceptional non-legal customer service, while the second raises very serious questions about professional conduct and bias. For potential clients, these reviews underscore the importance of due diligence and direct interaction to form their own judgment.

Promotional Information and Client Confidence
As an objective introduction, promotional information must be inferred from the available data. Law firms generally aim to promote confidence through their expertise, client satisfaction, and ethical conduct. However, in the case of Diambri & Caravello, the available reviews present a complex picture. The positive review, despite not being for legal services, acts as an informal endorsement of a willingness to help and a kind demeanor, which could translate into trust for legal matters. The statement, "If I was looking for legal work/help, I would pick this location," serves as a powerful, albeit indirect, recommendation based on observed character.

Conversely, the negative review concerning alleged prejudice and unprofessionalism significantly impacts any promotional message. Such allegations, if true, would severely undermine client confidence and the firm's reputation, overriding any positive impressions based on location or general helpfulness. The warning to "Beware working with this person" directly contradicts typical promotional goals and could deter potential clients, regardless of the firm's legal capabilities.

Therefore, while the firm's location and contact details are clear, and there is one account of notable helpfulness, the very serious allegations in another review mean that any objective introduction must present these contrasting perspectives. For potential clients consulting the "Nearby Lawyers" category, this firm would necessitate careful consideration of all available feedback and potentially direct engagement to assess whether their values align with the firm's practices.
