  • Rest in Urine. Horrible law firm. Took my case in 2018 and didn't do anything until mid-2020. Not a single call, email, or text. I gave up trying to get them to work after my third drive to the office, just to get waved off by a clerk. Waste of time and energy. I had completely forgotten about the case until I got served a notice to dismiss in 2024. I had paid off the ER bill (car accident) years ago and moved on with my life, thank goodness I didn't need my legal representation to help me in my time of need. A new firm bought out Mayo's office #; I highly recommend they cut ALL ties with this poor excuse of legal representation.
  • I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Mr. Chris Mayo himself and let me tell you he gets the job done. There was a brief time where of course I was impatient and frustrated because I wanted instant gratification but patience paid off. There was one time I didn’t get through to the office but I understand things can get hectic and golly, everyone there was apologetic about the missed call and they remained positive, polite and professional. In the courtroom or in the office Mr. Mayo exhumes power through the knowledge he has from his years of experience. There is a reason he has his own law firm with his name on it and it is because when he tells you he is going to make things right, he sure as hell does. I would recommend this professional, knowledgeable, confident and powerful firm to anyone who needs a lawyer who is going to win.. and not just win for the numbers, win because it’s the right thing for you.
  • My biggest regret is having trusted Mayo’s office with my case. After initial consult where they seemed to have my best interest in mind, this office never once called me about the status of my case. I initiated every interaction with them over the course of two years. If they didn’t want my case they could have just told me so I could go on with someone else but they didn’t. I guess their potential compensation was not worthy of representation because I did not receive any representation from this office. I 100% do NOT recommend this attorney or his staff.
  • Mr. Mayo just concluded my case and I must say that I am very satisfied with the outcome and therefore I would highly recommend them to anyone whose been injured in any type of accident. In fact I recommended him to my Mom and she too is very happy with her choice. Mr. Mayo was very patient, understanding and kind to me and my family. HE listened, always called me back and I could tell he genuinely cared about me and the family. Mr. Mayo's knowledge was also very impressive, he reminded me of a smart professor - yet he was also a tough guy when it counted. He had a big presence in the courtroom - I would not want to be on the other side of him. Again, I highly recommend - Mr. Mayo and his firm staff are the best!
  • My experience with the Chris Mayo Law Firm started with great skepticism as their previous location (they supposedly has since moved) was unprofessional looking and desperate for some upkeep. We met with a Legal assistant or whatever her title was to discuss my case. Like another reviewer said, I am not even sure if this lawyer exists as you never see him or hear from him. This law firm was chosen due to restricted time as I was in the area for professional reasons and could not miss too many hrs from my assignment to go hunting for a more professional lawyer. A whole two years after my accident we were told the firm has gone through multiple case managers and as such our case has not even been looked at yet. I always have to reach out for an update and sometimes is told I'll get a call back but like a strainer, that fell through. I was contacted regarding a deposition and when I explained that I was no longer in the area and would have to fly in. I inquired about lodging and all other expenses and they quickly disregarded that and said forget about the deposition. Now, from a professional stand point if the thought is that deposition could get me the fair conclusion to my case due to me then WHY NOT???? After waiting almost 4 years I feel like my case was not handled properly. Even after they said the case was settled, it still took them somewhere near 6 months for me to receive my check which by the way does not stipulate what was the entire settlement of the case. Who knows how much they actually got? Due to the lack of communication and unprofessionalism with this law firm I do not know what to think and I would just recommend that you do yourself a favor if you are ever in need of a lawyer I would not recommend this firm Oh how could I forget that they allowed a supposed law student call me soliciting information from me without any heads up. So I was suppose to just believe that this person was calling from their firm (in this day and age of scamming) and just dish out my information. I had to call and verify that this person is actually working on their behalf! They do not deserve a penny of what they got from my check because they (whoever they are..because I am not sure at this point if the lawyer exists) did not do their job. This law firm lacks communication and bottom line up front, why would you hire someone that you never communicates with you? BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE!!!!

While specific details on their fee structure or consultation policies are not provided in the given information, it is common for personal injury firms to offer a free initial consultation. This allows potential clients to discuss their case, understand their legal options, and learn about the firm's approach without any initial financial commitment. For Texans seeking legal assistance, it is always advisable to directly contact the Chris Mayo Law Firm to inquire about their specific fee arrangements, consultation policies, and how they handle payments for their services.
