Bailey & Carlino PLLC Introduce
Welcome to Nearby Lawyers, your online platform for connecting with legal professionals in your local area. We are providing information about Bailey & Carlino PLLC, a law firm located at 6853 Fairview Rd #100a in Charlotte, North Carolina. Situated in a commercial building in Charlotte, Bailey & Carlino PLLC likely maintains a standard professional office environment. This typically includes private meeting rooms for client consultations, administrative areas for paralegals and support staff, and the necessary resources for managing legal documents and proceedings.
The available online reviews for Bailey & Carlino PLLC present a mixed perspective on the firm's services and client experience. One review, from the seller's side in a real estate transaction where the attorney was not their choice, indicates a feeling of being treated as "second class." While they noted that the signing session for one individual was "smooth and quick once the attorney deigned to meet with us," the overall experience was negative enough to warrant only a three-star rating, which the reviewer considered "generous."
Another, more detailed review outlines significant issues experienced during a closing. This included a last-minute panic due to a paralegal (Cindy) allegedly failing to obtain an equity line payoff, resulting in the client having to rush to deliver paperwork shortly before the appointment. The reviewer also reported that their calls to the paralegal were never returned. Furthermore, they experienced a substantial wait at their scheduled closing time, being told that the buyer, who arrived first, was being attended to instead. The reviewer found this "NOT appropriate."
This same reviewer further detailed a nearly 15-minute wait past their appointment time, after which they had to "practically demand someone find out how much longer we were expected to wait." They described the paralegal as "incredibly rude" when making this inquiry to the attorney in front of the buyer. The overall impression conveyed was that the firm acted as if the sellers were the problem for expecting their appointment time to be honored, even suggesting they could return later after an almost 30-minute delay. While the attorney eventually conducted the signing, which reportedly took only about 10 minutes, the reviewer concluded it was a "poor way to end this home sale journey" and advised sellers to "beware."
Contrasting these negative experiences, another reviewer offers high praise for a paralegal at the firm, Cindy Richards, whom they describe as "the absolute best paralegal in the county" and capable of handling "anything." This positive feedback specifically highlights the competence of one member of the support staff.
Based on these reviews, the services offered by Bailey & Carlino PLLC appear to include:
Real Estate Closings: Both negative reviews pertain to real estate closing transactions, indicating that this is a service provided by the firm. One positive aspect noted by a dissatisfied seller was that the actual signing session, once it occurred, was "smooth and quick."
The features and characteristics of Bailey & Carlino PLLC, as perceived through the client reviews, present a mixed assessment:
Potentially Smooth Closing Process (Once Commenced): One reviewer noted that the signing itself was smooth and quick when the attorney was available.
Highly Competent Paralegal: Cindy Richards is singled out as an "absolute best paralegal" who is highly capable.
However, the reviews also highlight significant concerns:
Potential for Second-Class Treatment of Sellers: One seller felt they were treated as less important because they were not the party who chose the attorney.
Poor Communication from Paralegal: Allegations of unreturned calls from a paralegal leading to last-minute stress for clients.
Disregard for Scheduled Appointment Times: Clients reported significant delays and the prioritization of other parties over their scheduled appointments, which they found "NOT appropriate."
Rudeness from Paralegal: A paralegal was described as "incredibly rude" in their interactions with clients and when addressing the attorney in front of a client.
Lack of Professionalism in Handling Delays: The firm's handling of the appointment delay was perceived as unprofessional, with a suggestion that clients could simply come back later.
For local users in Charlotte seeking legal services, particularly in real estate closings, Bailey & Carlino PLLC is an option to consider. However, the negative reviews detailing issues with communication, respect for sellers, and adherence to appointment times should give potential clients pause. While one paralegal is highly praised, the overall client experience, at least for sellers in real estate transactions, appears to have been negative in the cases reviewed.
Promotional Information: There is no explicit promotional information available in the provided text. The contrasting reviews offer a cautionary perspective rather than a promotional one. Potential clients may wish to contact Bailey & Carlino PLLC directly at (704) 365-1811 or +1 704-365-1811 to inquire about their services, particularly in the specific area of law they require. It would be prudent to ask detailed questions about their communication protocols, appointment scheduling policies, and their approach to representing different parties in a transaction to gauge whether their practices align with expectations. The strong positive feedback for the paralegal, Cindy Richards, might be a point of inquiry for those seeking real estate assistance.
Located at 6853 Fairview Rd #100a, Charlotte, NC 28210, USA, Bailey & Carlino PLLC is accessible to the Charlotte community. However, the negative experiences reported by some clients, particularly sellers in real estate transactions, suggest that potential clients should proceed with caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging their services. Weighing the praise for the paralegal against the reported issues with communication and client treatment will be essential in making an informed decision.

Seller side, so not our choice — and we were treated as second class. Three stars is generous, and only because Mom’s signing session was smooth and quick once the attorney deigned to meet with us. Morning began with a last minute panic over an equity line payoff that paralegal (Cindy) should have obtained. She never returned my calls, so we rushed to obtain & deliver paperwork 40 minutes before our closing appt. We killed time for 30 minutes, then arrived 10 minutes early for our appt — and were told to wait because buyer had “arrived first” so their part of closing was underway. NOT appropriate. After nearly 15 minutes past our appt time, we had to practically demand someone find out how much longer we were expected to wait — and the paralegal was incredibly rude in making the request of the attorney *in front of the buyer.* These people acted as if we were the problem for expecting our appt time to be honored — wanted us to wait almost 30 minutes past appt time. Even told us we could come back later!! Attorney finally got a clue and the signing took maybe 10 minutes. What a poor way to end this home sale journey. If you’re the seller, beware!!
The attorneys are smooth in the closing. Paralegal Cindy Richards is the absolute best paralegal in the county. She can handle anything.
I was able to work with Brad Bailey to close my home and he made the process of signing all the paperwork super easy and comfortable. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes.
Used this closing attorney with some of my clients. Horrible experience every time and absent communication. Paralegal named Candy always yelled at my clients and provided unacceptable customer service. Will never use this office again.

Great attorneys. Their excellent ability to breakdown complicated paperwork and care for the transaction is a huge part of why we use this office so much
