Based on feedback from clients, Sinclair Law appears to have a strong focus on real estate transactions. One client shared a positive experience highlighting the firm's expertise during both a buying and selling process. This client specifically praised Cabell at Sinclair Law for his ability to clearly explain complex disclosure items related to the properties and their potential impact on closing. The review emphasizes Cabell's proactive approach in working with all parties involved to ensure a successful outcome. For new real estate investors, this testimonial suggests that Sinclair Law offers a professional environment where the intricacies of the closing process are thoroughly explained, fostering understanding and confidence.

However, it is important to present a balanced perspective. Another client shared a less favorable experience concerning post-closing follow-through. This review indicated that while the initial stages leading up to closing were smooth, there were issues with the timely disbursement of funds to various service providers such as home inspection, home warranty, and home insurance companies. The client reported having to personally follow up with these entities and expressed concern over a potentially uninsured situation due to the delayed payment. This feedback suggests that while the firm may excel in the preparatory and closing stages of a transaction, clients might need to be diligent in ensuring all post-closing administrative tasks are completed promptly.

Considering these varied experiences, potential clients can expect Sinclair Law to offer knowledgeable guidance, particularly in real estate law. The firm's environment, as suggested by the positive review, seems to be one where clients feel their concerns are heard and explained. The feature of having direct contact numbers readily available underscores their commitment to accessibility for local users. As a 'Nearby Lawyer', Sinclair Law positions itself as a convenient option for those seeking legal assistance within the Charlotte area.

However, it is also prudent for potential clients to be aware of the reported issues concerning post-closing administrative tasks. If you choose to work with Sinclair Law, it may be advisable to maintain open communication and proactively ensure that all financial disbursements and documentation are handled according to the agreed timelines.

In conclusion, Sinclair Law, located on Fairview Road in Charlotte, NC, presents itself as a local legal resource with a noted strength in real estate law. I went with Sinclair Law on both my buy and sell process. During the process both encountered disclosure items unrelated to the property itself and both in which I was unaware of how it could affect a potential closing. Cabell was great at breaking down these issues and explaining the legal ramifications and how ultimately neither was of direct concern. He went above and beyond in working with us and the other party to help reach the finish line. As a rather new real estate investor, I highly recommend Sinclair Law as they were very professional and took the time to thoroughly help me understand the closing process.

In everything leading up to the closing, Sinclair Law was easy to work with. However, don't expect much of that once closing happens. I was called by the home inspection, home warranty, AND home insurance companies told by each that they had not received their respective checks. This was money I had paid at closing that Sinclair Law was entrusted upon to send and deliver to each party. A pipe burst in the house one weekend - thankfully the structure of the house was not damaged and we managed to get by with only $2,000 worth of repairs - but I was informed by the insurance company that had it been any worse, the home wouldn't have even been covered by the policy I had paid for simply because the check was never delivered. My advice: go with Sinclair Law if you want to do all the heavy lifting after closing to make sure they even did their job; but if you're expecting someone to do what they've been paid to do, consider elsewhere.

Sinclair Law made our closing process smooth, seamless, and stress-free. Cabell Sinclair was extremely responsive and took time to thoughtfully answer all of the questions we had that came up before the closing. I have never experienced this level of customer service with another law firm.

In February 2021, my husband and I closed on a property in Concord NC with Sinclair Law.  The closing went smooth and staff at the firm were very polite.  A few months later I received a tax bill for an adjoining plot of land (as the purchase consisted of two 2 lots but one house).  Thinking this had been taken care of at closing, I called Sinclair Law and passed along the information.  I was told they would research and get back to me.  The next day I called the city of Concord to let them know I received the bill and was working with the closing attorney to resolve.  I was told that it was paid by Sinclair Law and there was no outstanding balance.  I was so relieved, happy, but mostly shocked that a lawyer exists that quickly resolves a minor mishap without asking for money or billing you for time.
