Understanding the environment of a legal practice can provide valuable insight into their operations and client interactions. Located in the bustling Financial District of Lower Manhattan, 65 Broadway is a historic and prominent building. This area is a hub of commercial activity and houses numerous businesses, including law firms. The specific office, #715, suggests a professional setting within a multi-tenant building, likely offering standard amenities expected of a legal practice. While direct information about the interior environment of Adam Commissioning's office is not available online, it is reasonable to expect a professional and confidential space for client consultations and work.

When considering a lawyer, their range of services is paramount. Based on the limited information available, including a customer review, it appears that Adam Commissioning has experience in handling criminal cases. One review explicitly mentions a positive outcome in a criminal case, stating, "They did my criminal case and handled it very very well." This suggests a capability in navigating the complexities of the criminal justice system. Criminal defense encompasses a wide array of legal matters, including but not limited to:

  • Arrest and arraignment procedures
  • Bail hearings
  • Investigation of charges
  • Negotiation with prosecutors
  • Plea bargaining
  • Criminal trials
  • Sentencing hearings
  • Appeals

For local users facing criminal charges in New York, Adam Commissioning's experience in this area may be a relevant factor in their decision-making process. It is advisable to inquire directly about the specific types of criminal cases handled to ensure alignment with your legal needs. New York City has a robust legal community with many experienced criminal defense lawyers who can assist with various charges, from misdemeanors to felonies, in both state and federal courts.

The same customer review, however, raises a concern regarding civil cases. The reviewer noted, "On a civil case the lawyer literally never called me back after like two times speaking I had to get a piece of evidence for him and he still never contacted me." This feedback suggests potential inconsistencies in client communication and follow-through in civil matters. Civil litigation involves disputes between individuals, businesses, or other entities, and can cover a broad spectrum of issues such as:

  • Breach of contract
  • Personal injury claims
  • Property disputes
  • Business litigation
  • Employment law issues
  • Real estate litigation

Given the mixed feedback, local users seeking assistance with civil cases may want to exercise caution and thoroughly discuss communication protocols and expectations upfront. It might also be beneficial to seek additional references or explore other civil litigation specialists in the New York City area who have a consistent record of positive client communication.

Features of a legal practice often extend beyond just the services offered. They can include the lawyer's experience, their approach to client communication, their courtroom skills, and their overall dedication to their clients' cases. The positive review regarding the criminal case highlights a potentially effective handling of such matters. The negative review concerning the civil case, on the other hand, points to a potential area for improvement in client service. It is important for prospective clients to consider both aspects of this feedback when evaluating Adam Commissioning's suitability for their legal needs.

As an objective introduction based on the limited information available, it is challenging to provide specific promotional information. Typically, promotional aspects might include special consultation offers, a focus on a particular area of law where the lawyer has significant expertise, or a commitment to certain client service standards. Without such information being publicly available, we cannot elaborate on any specific promotions for Adam Commissioning at this time. Local users are encouraged to directly contact the lawyer's office to inquire about any current offers or to discuss their specific legal needs.

In conclusion, Adam Commissioning is a lawyer located in the Financial District of New York City, with a listed address at 65 Broadway # 715. Based on one client review, there is positive feedback regarding the handling of a criminal case, suggesting competence in this area of law. However, the same review raises concerns about the level of communication and follow-up in a civil case. For local users in the Nearby Lawyers platform, this information provides a starting point for their research. It is recommended to conduct further due diligence, including direct communication with the lawyer, to determine if their services and approach align with your specific legal requirements and expectations. Exploring other legal professionals specializing in either criminal or civil law in New York City may also be a prudent step to ensure you find the representation that best suits your needs.
