The customer reviews provide a mixed perspective on the services offered by 24 Hour Closing, highlighting the experiences of clients who worked with different representatives within the firm. One review offers a highly positive account of working with a representative named Amanda Phillips. This client, who was undertaking a cash offer for their house for the first time, expressed initial nervousness but was thoroughly impressed by Amanda's service. The review emphasizes the comprehensive information provided from the initial email, which preemptively addressed potential doubts. Amanda is also praised for her responsiveness, not only through email but also via phone calls to address any concerns. The client found the process to be very simple and efficient and strongly recommends both 24 Hour Closing and specifically requests Amanda Phillips for future clients.
In stark contrast, another review details a negative experience working with Melissa Folger. This client describes it as "absolutely the worst experience" they had encountered with any closing attorney to date. The issues raised include late replies, disorganization, and an instance where the client felt they were being accused of fabricating information, with the client stating they have email records to support their claims. The review also mentions a failure to return a requested phone call for clarification, with Melissa Folger instead responding by email to inquire about the issue. Furthermore, the client alleges a delay in mailing out checks after closing, suggesting it might have been intentional, citing an unreasonable timeframe for mail delivery. This review stands as a significant point of caution for potential clients.
Considering these contrasting experiences, it is evident that the quality of service at 24 Hour Closing may vary depending on the specific representative handling the transaction. While one client found Amanda Phillips to be "awesome" and the process "very simple and very efficient," another client experienced significant issues with communication, organization, and perceived delays with Melissa Folger.
For local users in Charlotte seeking a "Nearby Lawyer" for real estate closing services, 24 Hour Closing presents a firm with a focus on efficient transactions, as suggested by their name. The positive experience with Amanda Phillips indicates the potential for excellent service characterized by proactive communication, thorough information provision, and a streamlined process. However, the negative experience with Melissa Folger highlights potential pitfalls, including communication delays, disorganization, and concerns regarding the handling of post-closing matters.
Potential clients might find it beneficial to inquire about the specific attorney or representative who will be handling their closing and, if possible, request a particular individual based on positive feedback, such as Amanda Phillips. It would also be prudent to discuss communication protocols, expected timelines for different stages of the closing process (including the mailing of checks), and the firm's procedures for addressing and resolving any potential issues that may arise.
While the name "24 Hour Closing" implies a rapid closing process, it is important to note that the actual timeframe for a real estate closing can depend on various factors, including the complexity of the transaction, the responsiveness of all parties involved (buyers, sellers, lenders, etc.), and the thoroughness of the legal review. Potential clients should clarify what "24 Hour Closing" entails in the context of their specific situation and understand the typical timelines they can expect.

I was very nervous because this is the first time that I had done a cash offer for my house. My representative was an Amanda Phillips and she is awesome! From the initial email, there was so much information about the process that left no room for any doubt. Amanda also answered any questions that I had. She was very responsive not just an email but she would call and answer any concerns that I had. She made the process very simple and very efficient. If you need to close on your house use these people and I hope that you get Amanda as she is incredible at what she does . Thank you 24 hour closing and thank you Amanda!
Worked with Melissa Folger. Absolutely the worst experience we've had to date with any closing attorney. Her replies were late. Super unorganized & in one instance insuated we were making up stuff. I have email records as receipts. She was asked to call us to clarify matters and never did. She responded by email wanting to know the issue. She also delayed mailing out checks, we believe this was intentional. No way checks take a week to be received after closing.
The way they treat people is despicable. They are too lazy to do a title search on their own. They call people names and hang up on people. Just go with another company.
Awesome Firm! Fast, efficient, great staff! Best real estate closing company in NC! Thanks Harry!
awesome place they always get the job done, and on time
