I listen to V103 Chicago every day, and I hear the commercials about 1800 Truck Wreck. Today, on this Good Friday I attended a food giveaway event sponsored by the Witherite Law Group. And I must say it far exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much for giving our community and the House of Hope a beautiful event that will be remembered for years! All the food giveaway boxes were top notch! They were packed with fresh fruits, vegetables, chicken, and a hickory smoked spiral ham; everything I need to have a lovely Easter dinner. Update as of 5/15- sadly can't save my car .I will continue to be without one . The cost will be more of what the car is worth . I will use that to recover some of the funeral arrangements costs. I can't afford a new car and afraid to purchase used car since they usually come with issues and higher interest rates at times . My car has been siting in my Mom's driveway since last April. It's been difficult without a car. I am a single Mom with no financial assistance at all . I work full time and was primary caregiver to My Grandmother who was like my Mom . Unfortunately, she passed away one day before this past Thanksgiving . I paid for funeral and cemetery with my savings . Therefore , leaving with me nothing . I entered another contest to win a 2025 car but sadly didn't win it . Honestly , I would've been extremely excited even if I had won a used car . The contest was for $1000 dollars to put toward my student loan. Little did I know I would be blessed beyond measure with my entire student loan of $8000 paid in full.
