  • Worst attorney in AZ history... Physically assaults, degrades, embarrasses his clients in court... Doesn't state facts... Lies, degrades, and verbally attacks victims in court... Undermines the judge... Starts a trial during sentencing... Very loud, hyper, and rude... Where is the negative stars... You'll still get time, cuz he upsets the judge, and disturbs the courtroom with ingnorance... You almost think he's gonna have a stroke, or heart attack in the court room... Wondering why the bar association hasn't barred him from practicing law...
  • IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. My OPINION is that this attorney is Terrible, Very Unethical and a Crook! I had a Federal offense and came to Mr. Zuniga's office as a referral from another attorney who did not take federal cases. I had a stipulated plea agreement which would have carried a max sentence of 15 months and I would have probably served about 10 months and then 3 months in halfway house. None the less, Mr. Zuniga assured me that this was a slam dunk and that he would get the charges dismissed. He convinces me to go to trial which I did and $12,500 later I was found guilty on all 3 counts and later was sentenced to 27 months in prison with 3 years probation. He was a mess in the courtroom and cost me my freedom. TO TOP ALL THAT OFF, when the judge asked if I would like deferred incarceration until sentencing I said to him "yes" and he spoke above me and said "NO, your Honor" I was then taken into custody for the next 20 months before I began my 3 years of supervised release. I ASKED MY FATHER OF 70+ YEARS TO CONTACT MR. ZUNIGA THE NEXT MORNING AND SEE WHAT OUR PLAN WAS FOR SENTENCING, WHEN MY DAD DID, ZUNIGA TOLD HIM THAT I STILL OWED 15,000 AND THAT HE WOULD SETTLE FOR 12,000. SO MY DAD CUT HIM THE CHECK AND HE CASHED IT 37 MINUTES AFTER MY DAD LEFT THE OFFICE!!! I EXPLAINED TO MY DAD THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID IN FULL UP FRONT BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY MR. ZUNIGA AGREED TO REPRESENT ME. IN MY OPINION THIS MAN IS NOT A GOOD ATTORNEY, HE MANIPULATED AND STOLE $12,000 FROM MY ELDERLY DAD AFTER HE COST ME YEARS OF MY LIFE AND $12,500 ON TOP. THEN CLEARLY WE FIRED HIM WHEN HE REFUSED TO GIVE THE MONEY BACK AND HE WOULD NOT GIVE THE FILE TO MY NEWLY RETAINED ATTORNEY. THE JUDGE LITERALLY HAD TO COURT ORDER HIM TO RELEASE THE FILE TO THE NEW ATTORNEY!! Please do not throw your money and your freedom away to this Crook like I did.
