Based on the available customer reviews, Michael Winer appears to focus a significant portion of his practice on the following key service areas within landlord-tenant law:

Landlord Representation: One review indicates that Mr. Winer has represented landlords in eviction proceedings, even in cases where tenants have raised concerns about the condition of the rental property, such as mold, pests, and other habitability issues. This suggests experience in navigating the legal processes involved in eviction filings and defending landlords' rights in court.

Tenant Representation: The second review strongly recommends Mr. Winer for resolving landlord-tenant issues from the tenant's perspective. The client praises his thoroughness, persistence, and focus, ultimately noting that he "gets great results for his clients." This suggests experience in advocating for tenants' rights, potentially in cases involving lease disputes, eviction defense, and issues related to the condition and maintenance of rental properties.

The features of Michael Winer's practice, as suggested by the customer reviews, present a somewhat contrasting picture. One reviewer describes his representation of a landlord as "inhumane" in the context of alleged poor property conditions, while the other praises his thoroughness, persistence, and focus in achieving "great results" for tenants. This divergence in feedback highlights the adversarial nature of landlord-tenant law, where the same lawyer might be viewed differently depending on which side of the dispute a client is on. It suggests that Mr. Winer is a tenacious advocate for his clients, whether they are landlords or tenants.

It is important to note that the negative review appears to stem from the reviewer's perspective on the merits of the landlord's case and the conditions of the property, rather than necessarily reflecting on Mr. Winer's professional conduct or legal skills. The reviewer acknowledges that Mr. Winer "knows the facts" but disagrees with his advocacy for the landlord. This underscores the ethical duty of a lawyer to represent their client zealously within the bounds of the law, even if the underlying circumstances are viewed unfavorably by others.

The positive review, on the other hand, directly praises Mr. Winer's effectiveness in resolving landlord-tenant issues for a tenant, highlighting qualities such as thoroughness, persistence, and focus. This suggests that Mr. Winer is capable of providing strong advocacy and achieving favorable outcomes for tenants facing disputes with their landlords.

While specific promotional information is not provided, the strong recommendation for resolving landlord-tenant issues from a former client can be seen as a significant benefit for potential tenants in the Greenbelt area. For landlords, the other review, despite its negative tone regarding the underlying situation, implicitly suggests that Mr. Winer is a dedicated advocate for their interests in eviction proceedings.

He would be a great lawyer for liars, he is the Lawyer for the Chimneys of Cradlerock and the way he defend them is by far the most inhumane thing I've seen; considering the conditions of these apartments, the mold the mice the roaches and bedbugs. He knows the facts but he defend them every month in court when ppl don't want to pay the rent or they place their rent in escrow. This property recently switched management companies so I hope they do a better job than Aimco…the new name for these units is The Preserves at Cradlerock
